Namine watched as the last of the monsters were dispatched. Everyone was exhausted, some were injured, some were already unconcious. She looked down at her thigh, it's milky whiteness was now covered in the blue blood seeping from her wound. "Im so tired" she said aloud to herself. Her red eyes were blurring and she was having a hard time focusing on anything. Namine dropped her trident and it dissolved in flash of light. "Maybe I'll take a rest." She closed her eyes and fell back hitting something moist and cool. She smiled and everything faded. Unconsciously, before passing out Namine, had summoned the remaining moisture from the ground and created a water bubble. She now slept within it.. changed to her mermaid form..her wound already healed. She floated there curled up in a ball, hair floating around her, like a child in it's mother's womb.

(( And that's a wrap! (that's a wrap, right? I think that's everyone) Our intrepid and slightly unwilling heroes have successfully faced their first battle, even if their abilities are quite rough around the edges. Now they rest up for their next encounter... but will they be ready?? Join us... on the next post... to see!

((Announce all you wish! Yes, the fight is over. And I hope everyone has had enough rest already...^_^))

About twenty minutes passed, while everybody was resting, sleeping and recovering from the fight. Anne didn't think she could get up if she tried to.

Then, she saw a dark shadow on a tree. Then other. Then other. Swiftly, the crows were arriving, drawn near by the foul smells of the dead. She sighed. They weren't pleasant companions, and their presence made her wonder what other creatures would come to feast on the bodies. Wolfs? Maybe something even worse...

"Guys...I don't think we should stay here any longer." With quite some effort, she raised to her feet, leaning over her newfound staff. She looked around. Besides those who were under the tree, Liam was snoring slightly where he had fallen, the mermaid was dwelling inside a water bubble, and the coffin girl was attending the other girl, whose name Anne didn't seem to remember, and who looked as she was quite hurt.

((totally ooc to Rhm and Surf_Dude: Guys, I've been waiting for either of you to post in Artemis...Have you forgotten about it? lol ^_^))

Kiyoko was in a very deep sleep; the short battle had managed to wear her out completely. She didn't wake up nor hear Anne's words; she was still napping in the sun on the soft grass. Ah, the warm sun! It was warming her entire body in a wonderful way; it was as if the heat from it was putting a spell on her, like the needle did in Sleeping Beauty. She was dreaming of bouncing on fluffy clouds, after "dieing" in an RPG game. She was joined by her boss, her siblings and mother, as well as a couple of the faces within the relam that she was in now, the relam that put her in this odd state.

The crows continued to flock, and eventually one of them came closer to Kiyoko. It nudged her a few times, and noticed that she didn't react. Well, she streched a bit, but not enough to give the crow any reason to think it was going to harm her. The crow then began to peck at her dress furiously, but it took a moment until it sent it's vicious beak into her leg.

"WAA!"
Kiyoko was awake and alert, feeling the sharp pain send throughout her body. Her instincts kicked in, and she picked up the nearest object to hit the bird with; her staff. She gave it a fine blow on the head by sending the staff onto it's head, sending the bird into a dazed state.

She looked down at her leg; it was a pretty small cut; there was a bit of blood, but not enough to put in a panic. As long as the bird didn't have a disease, she was fine. Tired, she lay down again, despite the fact she knew they had to leave. "How much farther til we're out of the woods?" she asked Anne, seeing as the girl was awake.

Namine was most comfortable in her state. She could hear muffled words around her and some kind of cawing. She frowned wondering what the noise was. She opened her eyes thinking that it could be another onslaught from restless creatures. She swam a full circle in her bubble trying to pin point what it was. She noticed there were crows all over the place, most likely drawn to the blood and stench of the ogres. For them this was a feast. "Crap..we need to move on. Who knows what else will come our way." Namine changed back and then dispersed the water. She walked towards Anne. "Anne im sure you are thinking what im thinking. Lets gather everyone and get the hell out of here. I don't like the looks of this one bit." Namine moved to locate members of their group and wake them from their slumber. She hoped everyone had time to take care of their injuries.

((dante! I was wondering about you! we started following the river and were attacked the ogres. They're all dead now, and we're getting ready to start moving again. Maybe you can make a catch-up post...^_^))
