Akki grinned at the full glass, picking it up and taking a sip.

Looking around for the first time since getting there Kalan nodded, "It does appear that way, doesn't it?"

Finishing her lemonade, Akki put her cup down. She turned to Kalan, taking his empty plate and packing it up. "Would you like cake now or later?"

Kalan lay down as she packed and wrapped an arm over his face to keep the sun out of his eyes, "Well, if you lay down with me here, I think I can hold out on the cake." Grinning he peeked out from under his elbow with a wink and twinkle in his eyes, "Maybe."

Akki giggled as she lay down on her side facing him, reaching out a hand to trace spirals on his bare shoulder.

Hugging her close and shuddering pleasurably at her touch on his shoulder he smiled and relaxed, "I'm so glad I have you..."

Akki smiled happily and kissed him lightly. "I'm glad I have you too" she whispered. She leaned close, their foreheads touching, and closed her eyes.

Wrapping his arms around Akki, Kalan fell asleep in a shot nap.

Akki snuggled closer, opening hers eyes slightly to watch her beloved sleep. With a soft sigh, her eyes drifted closed again as she followed him into sleep.

Kalan woke with a soft start and snuggled closer to Akki, "Mm, love," he purred, "We sure do sleep a lot together."

Akki shifted in his arms, opening her eyes drowsily, she smiled softly. "I like falling asleep with you, but I like waking up in your arms even better."

Akki brushed the hair from his eyes gently, gazing deeply into his eyes.
Why does he never kiss me unless I kiss him first? Maybe I'm too pushy...maybe he doesnt want to...

Kalan watched her blush and couldn't help himself, pulling her closer up to his own face he kissed her gently and deeply. "I'm sorry Akki," he said as he played with her hair, "I don't want cake... All I want are you lips."

With a soft purr, Akki cuddled closer, her fingers tangling in his hair as she parted her lips to his kiss. Her eyes were starry as she stared into his. "Cake?" she sounded confused, their picnic forgotten in his arms.
