Vexen just made a noise sort of like "Mm" to confirm that he heard Cloud, opting to focus most of his attention on retrieving the Companion Cube from in the wall. Accomplishing that, he sat down and looked at the night sky. "So others are begining to return..." he muttered to himself, then began to hum Sora from Escaflowne.
Axel opened her door a little and peeked through. "Mind if I come in? I do want to hear the story."

Axel came in and sat down next to Yuffie. "So...what was his name?" he asked, pointing at the picture.
Vexen raised an eyebrow at being called a 'cat'. "I am called Vexen," he said to the newcomer, acting like Cloud wasn't there like he said he would. In reality, he not only was listening to everything that was being said, but also storing away the information for later. People tended to be more loose-lipped when they were sure he wasn't listening. wink

Axel stared at the picture. Hesitantly he reached up to touch the face of the other girl. Long forgoten memories began to awaken. "Kiri..." He looked back up at Yuffie. "Her name's Kiri... What happened to her Yuffie? What happened to my sister?" he asked, now on the verge of tears.
((How's that for a plot twist? mrgreen ...This RP sure took a sudden turn from pure silliness, ne?))

"Kiri died, along with the rest of her family in a fire caused by some heartless, and I should have been there to die along side them."Yuffie started crying herself."We were playing at my house when Kiri wanted to go back home to help set up for her dad's birthday.I told her I would be there as soon I was done cleaning up, and when I saw that house...I tried running inside, but there was some sort of barrier blocking it, and I saw her brother come outside, his heart being taken by a heartless...I grabbed the necklace that he gave me and fell to the floor."Yuffie at that point, just couldn't stop crying.

Axel, tears forming miniture rivers at this point, hugged Yuffie. After a few minutes of sobbing, he regained the ability to speak, albeit shakily. "The heartless have caused so much pain... You lost your friends, and I my family and my life..." he trailed off as a fresh wave of sobs hit.

*Squal left Merlin's house about an hour later. He wasnt sure where to go, but he had to find Yuufi and the others to talk to them about the next course of action. Squall decided to go to the ramparts and sit. He looked out at Maleficent's old fortress, remembering the fight and of Sora and the others. Squall looked up hopefully as to see a sign of Sora or Donald or Goofy but their was none at all. Just a cloudless, stary night. Squall sat their a while longer, then it started to sprinkle. The rain was cold to his skin. He got up and headed back to Merlin's, hoping to see his companions.*
(I agree. This has definantly tooken a turn. I thought it was gonna crash but it had major irony for me.)
... to make a memory.
