Namine became more curious as she got closer. She noticed he was engrossed in a piece of paper, and thought he was most likely checking out his classes. She walked up the steps and cleared her throat. "Ahem..what are you doing here all by yourself? Lots of the students are off watching a friendly sparring match. You can easily introduce yourself to everyone. Oh..how rude of me, my name is Namine." She smiled at him and extended her hand.

As the girl's voice reaches his ears, he jumps up onto his feet and onto another step in fright. Upon getting a better look at whom it was who spoke to him he'd begin to settle. He takes a small glance around before turning a seemingly solemn glance towards the girl; seemingly without any means of communication. It would be then that he'd remember the pocket-sized notebook his cousin got for him as a parting gift to the school, slipping it from his pocket and opening it up to the first page. He takes a deep breath with the book in one hand, his free hand lifting to position itself o n the left side of the page. His eyes close softly as he slowly moves his hand over the book with its back facing the page. The shadow in which his hand casted upon the paper grows thicker and breaks apart into smaller segments on the paper; the segments then morphing into words. With the spell complete, he hands the book over to her so that she could read it's contents; a gracious smile spreading over his lips.
I won't be much of a conversationalist, but it's nice to meet you nevertheless Miss Namine. I am Zilvolin; Zilvolin Ken'ghym. The message reads.

Namine was surprised at his reaction. She didn't think she looked that frightening. She watched as he relaxed after realizing who it was that had spoken to him. But he remained silent and looked at her with quite a serious expression on his face. She watched as he removed a book from his pocket and placed his hand over it. She could only imagine that this was one of his abilities. Stepping closer she waited till he was finished at which point he handed her the notebook. She read its contents and learned that his name was Zilvolyn. Namine frowned a moment "It's nice to meet you Zilvolyn, but does this mean you cannot speak?" Namine shook her head. Of course he can't why are you asking him more questions? "I...im sorry the answer seems obvious" She wondered if she should leave him alone. After all he could not talk to her and she would most likely annoy him with her incessant talking.

He merely covers his lips with one hand to stifle a silent laugh, nodding his head soon after in answer. This time, he lifts his right hand and repeats the same motion as before over the book he now placed in her hands. The letters corrode into shadow again and then reform to create a completly different sentence.
I get that all of the time, so it's nothing to feel too terrible about. The words now read.
At this he'd flash her a broad smile; glad that the first student he met seemed as though they'd be a friend instead of a nuisance.

Lydia sighed, she took out her blade and tried a routine with it, to her surprise, it was easy and came naturally. Flipping the sword from one hand to the other, she lunged forward quickly and pulled back at the same speed, ducking and imagining an opponent. She had a vivid imagination, but picturing a dueling opponent wasn't really that easy. Ducking again, she leaped forward, slashing downward then dodging to the side. She continued on for some time, the movements becoming easier with every move she made, until she finally stopped, exhausted, "that.....was......unusual.." she said, breathing heavily. "Not bad, actually, not to brag or anything. I never knew I could even wield a sword properly. Of course, I'm not saying this to boast, I wouldn't want to do that, boasting eventually leads to lies, it does, lies eventually get discovered, not a good thing. When people discover your lies, they aren't too happy with you. Anyway....." she broke off, she had been talking fluently to....nothing. She had wanted a friend, she had pictured a friend in her mind and had found herself believing it. "Never mind." She muttered, returning abruptly to her usual, reserved and cold manner, she fingered the silver chain around her neck, from which a silver dragon dangled, the dragon, called Lilith, was her only friend, which she knew, or at least believed, that Lilith was a real dragon trapped in the silver ,the silver dragon was incredibly lifelike. "Lilith, where are you from?" Lydia thought, suddenly a vivid picture formed in her mind, which said, "from your heart and your imagination."

His glance momentarily turns over to one side, ears twitching slightly as they pick up yet another far off sound. At first there was a voice; faint from where he was now, and then nothing. Perhaps another student conversing with someone else. With that in mind, his glance returns to Namine, a glint of curiosity welling in his eyes.

Namine smiled at her newfound companion. So it was true, he couldn't speak. She thought about how difficult that would be in her case as she loved to socialize and engage others. In her village having many friends was a good sign and as such she set out to make as many friend as possible. "Well im glad to have met you regardless. Your power is amazing and helps you when you cannot speak. Maybe sometime you can tell me all about yourself and why that is so." She heard a noise in the distance and he heard it too. She could see the curious glint in his eye. "It's probably another student, or a teacher. Do you want to go check?" Namine waited for his response her eyes drifting to the book.

IV blinked, realizing once again that she became so caught up within her own thoughts, she turned a deaf ear to the real world. Noticing a lack of Namine in the tree, she whipped her head around trying to find the one person she could positively call 'Friend' at the moment. Smiling once more when she caught sight of the familiar red robes and hair, IV climbed down the tree and started a run over to her.
Well, atleast until she noticed Zilvolin. She froze in mid run as soon as she indentified the pointy ears. Breath caught within her throat, eyes wide, and her mouth once in a cheshire smile was now only agape slightly. One thing circled through her mind in a continous loop 'Aren't Elve's immortal?...'
((Note:Hah! So much fun writing this one, Keiji, just wanted to thank you for bringing in a character like that in the first place, but really, are Elves immortal? Or do they just live for a really long time... In another note, I've realized that IV's hypnotism may be difficult, or impossible, to use in roleplay form. Since she kinda has to, you know, take over a person and use said person to fight for her and that would be difficult without godmodding. Cause she can't fight well at all.
I'm posting this because if I can not find a solution, I may have to kill IV (Harsh, I know, but the hypnotism is a VERY large part of her character, so if I get rid of the hypnotism, I get rid of IV). So any help would be loved.))

He shakes his head in answer, deciding to remain where he was. Personally, he was never well with large groups; having been raised through the ages with just him and the small family that took him in. Once more, he waves the back of his hand over the pages, the letters corroding and reforming into another sentence.
There really isn't much to say about myself, but I'd like to tell you assuming I could find a better means to. This works out well but takes up just a bit of my energy. This in mind, using this technique too often could cause me to lose conciousness. It reads.
It was then that he'd notice another not too far from them, turning his glance upon her and tilting his skull off to one side in curiosity.
((Note: No problem Hood, glad you enjoy it. Elves aren't Immortal at all. Just as you said, we just live for a -seriously- long time, over the span of several centuries to be exact. And with that said, I'd assume that you might be able to work something out with that so long as you get the permission of the player in which you wish to manipulate. Either that or you could have you and the person you're attempting to hypnotize roll a die to make an outcome...but that's just me ^_^ ))

An old car sped up the drive-way and screeched to a stop. Just before the car had stoped moving Kiery* had un-buckled her seatbelt, all too ready to leave her dad behind. But as she started to push the door open, her dad roughly pushed her out, and she bit her lip to muffle the sound of pain that apeared when her palm and wrist scrapedthe sidewalk. Just cause she cut herself to practice manipulating her blood, doesn't mean getting dirt and rock remains stuck in an open wound doesn't hurt. "oh suck it up!" her dad said loudly. Kiery turned around just in thime to see her dad throw her bag out the still open door, and she scooted out of the way just before it would have hit her. As the car door slamed shut and the car sped away, she yelled, "Yeah, thanks a lot!!" As her dad rounded the last corner and disapeared from sight she scrambeld through her over-filled bag to find some rubbing alchohal(sp? I'm tired and without spell-chack) Once found she quickly screwed the bottle cap off, and proceded to carefully pour it on her wound. Since she already messes around with her blood on a regular basis, she needed to make sure none of the debris was caught inside it when she scabbed it over. "ow, stining, stinging, ow!" she muttered over and over again. When she was sure it was good and clean, she pressed her good hand on the wound and silently counted "1, 2, 3." in her head and removed her hand from the scrape. It was scabbed over perfectly, and not much would make it crack open again. Still seated on the curb, Kiery put the rubbing alchohal away, before realizing her phone was vibrating. She slipped it out of her jeans' pocket. There was a new text-message from her sister. 'I miss you already Kys!! DX' Kiery smiled. Kys was the nick-name they used when they texted each other. When they used sign language, they'd just use 'k' to refer to Kiery. 'I miss you too.' was the reply. She slipped her phone back in her pocket. 'Caits better be okay' she thought. Thankfully Caitlyn would be completly safe, until their dad got back home from dropping Kiery off at her new school.
(* Kiery is pronounced Kie-ree. Kie like rye, or pie, or die.) ((sorry about the eccesivly long post. Not many more of my posts will be of that length. They'll be shorter.))

Now glancing a little ways behind the other newcomer, he'd find someone else coming along. Just like himself and the others, she obviously seemed to have started just today. He couldn't help but feel concerned considering how she was gedisined from the car and with a wound upon her wrist. As the group began to grow, however, he'd grow a little uneasy.

Namine smiled at IV when she saw her approach. "Zilvolin this is IV, we've become fast friends upon meeting. Im sure you'll like her as well" She motioned for IV to come closer. "I dont know if he'll let you take his picture but he is quite nice." Namine looked at the book again and what it said. "Hmm, I see then you couldn't talk to me long or you'd lose consciousness. There has to be a way though. Im sure we can figure something out." She said smiling at the boy. She turned to look towards the road near the school where someone had just deposited a girl, quite brusquely. Namine felt bad for her and wondered if she was hurt. She looked back at Zilvolin and saw his increasing discomfort. She moved closer to him whispered so only he could hear. "Hey if crowds make you uneasy we can hang out somewhere else." She looked at IV knowing she would come along. They could be like a trio and she smiled at the prospect. "So what do you say? Just nod yes or no I dont want you passing out on me" she said jokingly.

With the introduction he'd offer IV a soft smile a a bow. He makes one more glance over to the most recent arrival and then back to Namine, nodding his head yes in answer. Before anyone could begin to go anywhere, however, he'd once again twist the words on the book into what he wished to say.
I at least wish to make certain that the other girl is ok. She was tosses out pretty harshly and I thought I caught a glimpse of blood from here.

IV blinked, then shook her head. "Ah! Sorry, sorry! Got lost in a mind loop." Chuckling lightly at herself, she turned her head only to catch the interesting arrival of Kiery. "Waitaminute did that guy just throw that girl out of a car?! What the Shitake Mushrooms, that just isn't right man!" With that, IV turned on her toes and started to run towards the newest arrival, waving her arms up and down in a paniced way all the way there. Though she did stop half way, to turn around and yell. "It's nice to meet you Zilvolin*!" Then she went back to running towards Kiery.
Of course, IV being herself, as soon as she did reach Kiery she started to rant. "Hey! Are you okay?! Did you hit your head, do you need a nurse? To the nurses office! Wait does this school even have one? Aaaaaaaah! What to do, what to do!?"
*She caught his name when Namine told him hers, just incase you were wondering.

He tilts his skull off to one side for a moment as IV races down to meet the new arrival, left hand then lifting to mask a silent laugh. She had plenty of energ to go around and then some; he admired that. Following suit, he steps down from the staairs and pockets his schedule, pausing beside Namine and placing a hand on her shoulder; motioning her over to come along before taking up lead.
