Marching Shows I Love:
There's one and one only it's....*drumroll*.....Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.....wow that was fun. The student conductors were dressed up like Willy Wonka and had to walk with a limp and a cane and then do a front roll and throw their walking sticks as an intro. The flag girls dressed up like Oompa Loompas and carried around giant plasic suckers and multicolored rubber balls like gumdrops. I'll never forget when the flag director yelled out during practice "LET ME SEE YOUR BALLS GIRLS!" and our band director was walking down the stadium stairs and he fell down and started rolling down them because he was laughing so hard.

Alligator Ally, it's just so anoying.... and repeditive. I hate it.... but because the clarinets love it and my director is a clarenet we play it.

froggyfluf i HATE the song Circus Bee. i had to transpose it to play it, AND THE WHOLE THING WAS OOM-PAS!!!!!! (as in rest-quarter-rest-quarter forever and ever) i was close to burning that song by the end of last year. That is so weird! I'm playing that song! Hate it. HATE! Especially measures 38-53. Evil notes!

Any type of Christmas music whatsoever. Christmas-SEASONAL music, I should say. I'm okay with hymns...since we never play hymn-style Christmas stuff in band. stare
But any seasonal music should be forever banned from all marching and/or concert bands foreeevur. xp
