Seems we've kinda segued out of "good old times"... heh. Like that time Spence and I got into a hoooge fight.
Let's not talk about that. sweatdrop
Remember when people actually still quested for halos? Of course, I don't ever remember one of those quests succeeding. I wonder how many halos there are left, anyway.

Last I heard, there's 33 halos left...but who knows how many are on active accounts.

I remember from when gaia didn't have a boring storyline..(hope this counts..)
33 left..probably about 29 of those are on inactive accounts (or maybe around 25-100 are on inactives maybe?).

Supposedly...they all still occur...pink link, blue box, pink box, wooden chest...but I haven't seen them...there's supposed to be some link you can type in to claim 'missed' things...but I couldn't tell you what it was. surprised

For some reason they've just never updated the total amount of random events handed out. My understanding is that they're on a schedule: so many given out every day. But with so many people logging onto the site, and with them having not updated it in forever, you hardly ever see them.
It least that's what I thought.
I don't think Lanzer ever got his halo. I don't even know if Lanzer is still on staff. I mean, the admins don't give out announcements anymore. Dumbass NPCs do.
Yeah, that's a big one. Remember when the admins were important? When we felt like a community because actually people told us what was going on, not what's-her-face from Gaia 9 or the myriad of ridiculous ad characters....

Yeah. I remember that you "shook Lanzer's hand" at one of the Anniversary Balls. And the announcements are too many right now. I don't want to know every time an item I'm never going to buy evolves. Do they have a setting to filter announcements yet? You know. I only want to hear about administrative stuff like the new item system or a change to guilds.

Niccea Majeare Yeah. I remember that you "shook Lanzer's hand" at one of the Anniversary Balls. And the announcements are too many right now. I don't want to know every time an item I'm never going to buy evolves. Do they have a setting to filter announcements yet? You know. I only want to hear about administrative stuff like the new item system or a change to guilds. I say this and then they make changes to the guilds. Ok. The admins need to give everyone Nightmare Scarfs! *sits down and patiently waits for her nightmare scarf*

I got kicked out of a guild for inactivity. I wasn't active cause the damn number didn't change...then I realized that was my number...

Blessed Blade Alamoria Yeah, Dashou. And Gaia is all about profit and not quality. Yeah! That guy! Ran a 5000 page contest for a while with Spence. He disappeared some time ago. Remember Stardragon and Tigerangel? Both were on the first page of people who had posted the most, back when you could still see that. Star was kind of a jerk, but tiger was sweet. cool Hahaha...Dashou. Remember that picture of him with a huge gonk pasted over his face? I think I still have that somewhere on my external hard drive =x.
