he heard a sort of sadness in her voice...he lifted her head up not knowing what to expect,"your sad...why?" h asked her, a little confused,"oh and i owe you a song on my guitar."

Namine looked up into his eyes. "Im sorry I could not give you the honorable and challenging battle we were both looking forward to." She couldnt tell him the truths in her heart..the things that caused her sadness. SHe didnt trust anyone enough to share her pain that with. Namine chastised herself and smile slightly at his last statement. "Thats right Ryan..you do owe me a performance."

"It's ok...I'm sure there'll be other times." he reassured her. "alright shall we go down the hall and into my office so i may hold a private concert for you?" he said humoring himself, he knew that he'd probably never get that chance, but it was nice that someone humored him. he smiled as he walked out of the training room. "you commin'?"

Namine wiped her eyes quickly. "Oh I wouldnt miss this!" she said jokingly. She picked up her shirt and her jacket as well as her weapons. SHe then followed close behind Ryan wondering if he would be good or bad.

Ryan was kinda nervous about playing for her...he knew he was good...but he didnt know if he was good enough. "haha alright then come along." he said and continued to walk down the hallway till they got to his office, when they did reach it he stopped, opened the door and went in. he had 2 chairs and a desk with a chair behind it. and then he had a picture of his father on his wall and his desk, then he had his guitars hanging from the wall and also he had 2 on a stand. He walked over and grabbed his acoustic, sat down and began to tune it.

Namine entered his office. She looked around noting the items contained within and how he had personalized it for his use. He had various instruments and she watched as he took one and began to tune it. She sat down in one of the open chairs waiting for the show to begin.

Once he had gotten the instrument tuned he sat down on his desk in front of her. "ok...lets see...do i have any requests?" he asked his 'audience'. he thought it to be quite funny and all, but instead of laughing he just smiled.

Namine smiled and made herself more comfortable. She wondered what song he would be playing and was looking forward to see wether his skills extended to the guitar.

"alright lets see..." he said as he thought of a song. so while he thought he started playing the jeadpordy song. "Oh! i know what i can play for you." he said as he finally thought of a good song to play. He began to play "Crazy On You" -originally preformed by Heart- to her.

Namine laughed as she saw him trying to decide on a song to play. But then he began to play and it was a song she was familiar with. She closed her eyes letting the sound wash over her. Not bad, she thought, if he wanted he could be a musician.

Ryan continued to play the song, and when he was done he leaned over his guitar and asked her,"soooo...what'd ya think?"he asked and paused for a moment then began to speak to her again,"and i want you to give me your honest opinion."

Namine burst out laughing. "My aren't you serious! If you must know I think you are talented. It's a waste that you aren't using it more." She leaned forward. "You can consider me your first fan." She then smiled at him. "Encore?"

"ah really? i'm good?" he smiled...no one had ever listened to his guitar playing before, so he was glad he made a good first impression. "haha, on my first time and i'm already being asked for an encore..." he was estatic that someone thought he was good. so he agreed to the encore and decided that he'd play "Closer to the Heart" -originally played by Rush-

Namine listened as he began to play. He was unsure of his own skill even though he was good. Namine rocked and sang along to his playing.
"And the men who hold high places

She looked up and smiled at him. They seemed to have similar tastes in music.

He noticed her singing along with him, it made him happy. so he smiled as he played a sung. when he had finished playing he looked to her and said,"thank you." in a gentle voice,"no one's ever done something like this for me...i know it might not mean much to you but it means the world to me that you'd take time out of your day to listen to me play."
