When Shatter opened the lid of the box a flood of light hit Cosmo's eyelids, making him squeal with delight. 'Ooooh light! Pretty light! Cosmo wants the light!' He again struggled to move, trying to reach the light. Then Shatter shut the lid and it became dark. 'Wah? ....Ah! I'm blind!!'

Serephina walked around the cave, bored. Is anyone even here? she wondered. Trying to entertain herself, she began to sing a melodious song, that which Sirens are famous for. This was a song meant to lure unsuspecting men to her. ((Don't worry- nothing dirty!))

Momo heard a commotion at the door, so she got up to see what was going on. There was a man with a mysterious box that stole Momo's attention. She gazed at it for a few moments, and then turned her attention to the other kids all standing around. Ben was there so she walked over to stand beside him. "What is it Ben? What's in that box?

Usha noticed the light and felt the presence of the human children. "Ah, bout dang time Shatter!" She relaxed a bit, she was ready to get out.

"I'm...I'm not sure." Ben had thought he saw something very interesting in that box...but he wasn't sure what it was.
He turned to Momo and smiled. "But he said we'll get one..."

Shatter rolled his eyes, but silently let out a sigh of relief, as he hadn't held it long enough for the spell to be complete. He promptly walked inside, closing the door behind him, and sitting on a couch. Luckily, the window drapes were closed.
"For my first trick," he grinned, setting the box down, I will make her," he said pointing at the maid, "Fall sound asleep!"
He snapped his fingers, and the woman's head lulled to the side, though her body remained standing. Some slight snoring could be heard. He turned to some of the younger children, and smiled kindly.
"Well, what do you think? If you want to see more, I would ask that you go and gather the rest for me, alright?"

Ben stared at the sleeping maid...had the man really made her sleep? Or was she just playing along? Maybe the orphanage had hired this man to entertain them? Either way, Ben was feeling up for some fun. He grabbed Momo's hand. "Come on let's go get Kiyoko and the others!"

Momo stared in amazement at the sleeping maid. Why was she still standing there. She figured it was a good thing she hadn't fallen over. Momo was excited, and very curious as to what was inside that box. Ben grabbed her hand and they two of them began to search for the other kids. "Kiyoko!" She called, "Where are you?"

After gathering all the kids they could find, Ben and Momo headed back to the front room with the others. Ben sat down on the floor with Momo and Kiyoko. He felt bad that he hadn't found Kiyoko's Mr. Fluffy yet, but he hoped this magic show would take her mind off it.

Shatter smirked a little. There were just enough children. He set the box down on the table, and removed the lid once more. Inside lay eleven figurines of crystal. Two dragons, a boy demon, a girl demon, a pixie, an elf, an elemental spirit, two angels, a centaur, and a siren. He then stood back, and looked at them.
"Alright. Who would like to choose their's first?" he asked, smirking. He eyed each child, his eyes daring them to step forward.

Ben looked from cyrstal to crystal...they all looked so interesting. One caught his eye though. It looked like a boy demon...but it didn't look evil. It had almost a kind expression. It reminded him of one of the characters in his stories. "Can I have that one?" he said as he pointed to the boy demon in the box.

Momo's crystal blue eyes sparkled as she stared at the crystals. Choose one? She could take one? She watched Ben pick one of them, and she had her eye one one as well. It was an Angel and it reminded her of something out of one of Ben's stories. The one's where everything turned out good in the end. The one's where people loved one another. She carefully walked over and looked up at Shatter, "Can...can I have the Angel?"

Having been practically dragged to this room by the younger children, Stella stared blankly at the figurines in the box. Was he giving them away for free? Well if it was something free, she figured she might as well take one.
"I like the blue dragon," she said and moved a little closer. They were very peculiar looking. And very detailed.
