Ryou smiled as he got up. "Ok," he said as he followed her out. "Naomi," he said, "please don't tell anybody..... that I was found here or basically what happened." He knew she wouldn't, but he just wanted to make sure. "I'll see you tomorrow then," he said.

Naomi smiled and said, “Don’t worry dude. As long as you don’t tell, I won’t either.” She went to her locker and brought out the piece of paper with the history assignment on it then stuck it in the apron. “See you later dude.” She smiled then asked, “Do you need help getting out of here?”

"No, I should be ok. Thanks though," he said to her. "Thanks Naomi," he said as he left out of the door. On his way home, he thought about what happened, he hoped he wasn't going crazy. He also hoped he didn't have somebody doing this to him. He just needed a good night sleep.

((Well this will be a skip to morning))
Naomi smiled as she watched him leave. Ryou was a good friend... but she owned him for this. She sighed and went back into the kitchen to work. It wasn’t until a few hours later when she was home. She changed into her nightclothes then crawled into bed.
When morning came, Naomi was awoken by her alarm. She got up and went to take a quick shower (she’d set her clock back ten minutes to give her time) then dressed. She went into the kitchen and thought about grabbing some toast but went against it. Instead, she went to gather her things for the day.
Yuugi woke up that morning but he was still tired. He didn’t remember when he went to bed... or when he fell asleep for that matter. He yawned and started getting ready for school. Although, he noticed that around his neck was the now completed Millennium Puzzle.

Ryou woke up the next day feeling more rested then yesterday. He had no head ache as well. He got out of bed and got into the shower. He had plenty of time to do so and dry his hair. After getting changed, he went into the kitchen and made two egg omlets. He put each into it's own sandwhich. He took his bags, lunch, and two sandwhiches and sat outside- waiting for Naomi.
Akiko continual hit the snooze button. Finally, she rolled over and whined, "I don't WANT TO get up!!!" She looked at the time, paused, then jumped up. She was late, again. Thankfully, she had taken a shower the night before, she had to- her hair was so long it needed time to dry. She jumped into her uniform, grabbed her bags, and ran downstairs. Her lunch bag was made and so was a beagal[sp?] with cream cheese for her. "Thanks mom, ok love ya bye bye," she said quickly as she grabbed it and ran out the door. "I'm going to be late, I'm going to be late, I'm going to be late," she repeadily[sp?] said almost singing it.

Naomi put her backpack over her shoulder and went outside. As usual, she saw Ryou sitting outside. She locked the door and went over to him. “How long do you wait out here?” she asked as she put her still damp white hair over her should, getting it out of her face. It seemed that everyday he was out here before her.
After getting dressed and ready, Yuugi went downstairs and grabbed something to eat before heading out the door (telling his grandpa bye in the process). The bruises were still on his face but they weren’t nearly as bad as yesterday. As he walked, he looked down at the now completed puzzle. After eight years, he’d finally done it! Satisfaction swelled up inside him and he grinned.

Ryou smiled nicely as he stood up. "Not long," he said politely. "It's better to walk with somebody then walk alone, right?" he added. He extended his arms out with the second egg sandwhich. "I made you one, for breakfast," he said. He didn't start eating his yet, he waited for her first.
Akiko continued to run. Damn, being late was becoming a habit. She slowed down to catch her breath. She still had her beagal in her hand. She began jogging again, taking small bites of her breakfast. "Mmmm, cream cheese," she said happily.
Jonouchi was at school, standing up against a wall. Some students were starting to come in. He was waiting, for Yuugi. He had to apologize, some how. He realized something last night, Yuugi was an ok kid. From that whole situation yesterday, his mind was stuck on one thing, 'These guys are my friends'. The only other person who stuck up for him like that was Honda.
Ushio was laying in a pile of leaves and garbage, just smiling. "It's mine.... all mine..... all this money...." he said in a dazed voice. He thought the leaves were money. Some kids started to circle him and watch. Small whispers floated around the scene.

Naomi nodded in agreement then looked at the offered sandwich. She hadn't been really hungry a little earlier but now she kind of was. Besides, not accepting it would be rude. "You didn't have to do that but thank you." She said smiling and then took the sandwich.
Yuugi walked down the sidewalk, his thoughts trailing over things when he heard footsteps behind him. He turned and saw Akiko running. The incident yesterday came to mind and he wondered if she was mad at him. Although he couldn't help it, he still wanted to apologize.
Honda arrived at school and headed into the building. Like Jounochi, he was also thinking about yesterday. It was sort of strange the way Yuugi had stuck up for them like that. Considering how he always acted, it was almost out of character for him. Still... that kid took a beating for Jounochi and him.
((Sorry I was gone. I'd went to my aunt's house for Thanksgiving. It was good - how was yours?))

"Don't worry about it. I had extra and I thought you might like some," he said modestly as he took a bite. When they got close to school, Ryou could hear people talking about somebody acting weird. "I wounder what going on," Ryou said, "people are really curious today."
Akiko had closed her eyes when she was chewing. When she reopened her eyes, she saw Yugi not to far. She slowed down. She wasn't mad at him, she just wasn't sure if he was avoiding him. Akiko walked up to him and greeted him. "Hey Yugi," she greeted. When she saw his face, and the bruises, she almost dropped her beagal, "Yugi! What happened!?"

Naomi shrugged her shoulders. "Dunno." She said although she was getting curious now. As they walked into the courtyard, she could see a small crowd gathering around someone. "Let's go see what the fuse is all about." She said, grabbing Ryou's hand and dragging him along with her.
Maybe's she's not mad... He thought and then said, "Morning Akiko." He jumped slightly when she suddenly yelled then calmed down. He reached up to touch on of the bandages on his cheek then said, "It's nothing." He paused for a moment then said "I'm sorry for not meeting you yesterday... something came up."
((It was wicked. ^^
Btw, I finally listened to that 45 song. It's wickedly awesome.))

Ryou staggered as Naomi dragged him. He finally caught his balance and followed her. When they got through the crowd, they saw Ushio laying in garabage. Mummers from the crowd spun around. Everyone was confused, just flat out confused. "What in the world? Naomi, isn't that the kid from yesterday?" he said.
Akiko shook her head, "'Nothing' didn't do this Yugi. I'm not worried about walking home- what happened to you?" Akiko's eyes showed she was worried. She looked at the bruises and thought of multiple things, none were good. "It wasn't those guys from yesterday, was it?" Akiko asked refering to Jonouch and Honda. She couldn't believe that herself.

Naomi nodded, "Yeah but it looks like he finally cracked." She said. She glanced down, seeing she was still holding Ryou's hand. "Sorry," She muttered and let go, crossing her arms then looked at Ushio. Her first thought was Despire but she could remember everything from last night. No this must have been caused by something else.
Yuugi shook his head "No it wasn't them." He said then sighed. He didn't want to tell her and only thinking about it made him remember Ushio's words. "It was... someone else. But don't worry - it won't happen again." He didn't want her to worry, despite the fact she already was. He'd figure it out.

Ryou forgot about his hand but took it back from her, "It's ok," he murmured. "Apparently," he said in a bit of a freaked out tone. It wasn't everyday you see somebody crack like that. His stomach hurt a bit, with all the weird things that were happening to him, he just hoped he didn't turn out like him. "Come on, let's go," he said not wanting to see it anymore.
Akiko took one step back. She got the hint that Yuugi didn't want to tell her- she accepted that. She just had one more question, "Did it happen right after school?" She felt bad, maybe she could have help prevent it. She began walking with him.

Naomi nodded and followed Ryou out of the crowd. As they headed towards the building, Naomi put her hands behind her head (feeling that her hair was still a bit damp). She sighed, "Well, he got what was coming for him." she said.
Yuugi looked down at the ground for a moment. He didn't want to tell her it had been Ushio, worried that she might become involved. He didn't want that. At her question, he nodded "Yeah..." he looked back up at her as they walked. "But like I said, it won't happen again." Besides, I'm used to getting beat up. He added to himself.

Ryou wasn't sure if he should agree with her or not. He then raised an eye brow and said, "How long are they going to keep him out there? Shouldn't the school call.... somebody? It's kind of bad to have somebody.... 'loose' like that on public school grounds."
Akiko decided to change the subject, to atleast cheer him up. She then noticed something hanging from his neck. "Oooo, shiney," she first said. She then realized what it was, "You finished it!" she said cheerfully, "I knew you could do it!"
