Try previewing the post before sending it in. Sometimes it will convert to the messed up symbles and you can fix it from there.

I'm so sorry about taking so long to get online. Last night, I figured I'd have enough time to run by the computer lab before leaving for my vacation so I could post... as it stands, the lab was closed. I then decided to try Starbucks' Wi-Fi network, but only found out you had to pay some ridiculous amount of money to use it for an hour after I'd already bought my mocha.
So I figured, ok, I'll miss out Saturday night, but I'll just cruise into my hotel room nice and early on Sunday. They've got free wi-fi there once you check ******** told me I had to wait until 2PM until I could check in. Mind you, I ARRIVED at 7 AM.
So yeah... been floating through Little Rock while Taiya's been at work, but I finally got my way into my hotel reservation ^_^ On to go post...

Rawking: Hope all goes ok IRL. As for your MS Word woes, try typing in a " or a ' or a ...
A box will form next to it, click on it and look for something that'll send you to the auto-replace/correct options. And in there somewhere, there's a tab where you can tell it to stop replacing those characters with fancy ones.
Another option, in case that's confusing (and it is to me ^^) is to type your posts in Wordpad first, then paste into Word for the spellcheck.
I"ve decided that since I didn't sleep last night, and I'm unshowered and I've consumed nearly an entire 12-pack of coke in the past 24 hours to stay awake (and not come to a horrifying car crashy doom)... I'm gonna get a quick nap in before I post...

Rawking will not be back until later this month. You'll need to NPC her and move on with your plot or you will be waiting awhile.
Everybody else, Nick will be posting soon (he is out of town) pushing that end of the story along.
