Susan blinked. Then smiled and waved politely. She had no idea who the girl was, and she apparently knew Abunai. The girl didn't look back at Susan while she talked to Abunai, so Susan stopped looking like an idiot(in her head, she looked like an idiot, staring at her.), and looked at the floor. That probably made her look more like an idiot though. Looking at the floor makes most people look like they are totally un-confident, or just plain retarded.

((I got dragged off to some party as soon as I got home or I would have already posted, sorry about that.))
Sonja followed behind silently in a steady candence matching every footstep to that of the girl in front of her. In many ways she was just like a shadow. Her eyes were straight forward focusing on the conversations going on int front of her, they seemed a rather odd sort of people, but she restrained from looked bemused as they conversed. Her hands swung back and forth in a steady beat with the left hand carrying her briefcase making it easier to salute with her right when needed. As she started to really take in what was going on around her, she wondered if these were the actual people she'd be working with.

((no, it was somone's relatives party and they were in town and so yeah, I ate cake and watched t.v., through pretty much the whole thing.))

Noelle took her glaive out again, twirling it and passing it between her hands. she began walking until she found Abi. "Is there some kind of training ground or something?"

Abi almost burst out laughing, "Do we have a training ground? Oh gosh, yeah we have a training ground." Abi said, really trying not to laugh. "It's underground, find an elevator and go to the ninth floor. Don't ask why the ninth floor is underground while all the others aren't, please, it takes to long to explain."

Abi laughed, "Yeah, that usually happens when you don't want it too." Abi said, then started fishing around in his pockets for something. "That was an alarm for when the ice cream man gets attacked, the aliens we're fighting like to use the ice cream to make they're monsters. They morph it and then we end up fighting something at looks like this..." Abi said, pulling out his PSP and fiddling with it for a second before turning it to show everyone what it was they were suppose to be fighting. On the PSP screen was this, the ice cream monster.

"THAT'S what we're fighting?" Noelle's jaw dropped. "Won't it just melt and reform around our weapons?"

Abi turned his PSP to look at it and nodded, then he put it back in his pocket. "Yeah, they do do that sometimes....but most of the time they melt then try to use people to close the gap, and then it's not so easy to it kill off that way..." Abi said, chuckling and rubbing the back of his head.

"So what are we supposed to do? When Blaine- Blake- said aliens I thought big-headed-green things!" Noelle swung her glaive around. "I can eat him, but that'd be... disturbing."

"But unusually delicious." Abi said, grinning while he thought of the time that he had actually tried doing that. He had ended up sick as a dog and with a killer brain freeze, but that ice cream had been awesome "The giant cones on it's back, attack those for a awhile, i'll get someone to ether melt it all the way down or to freeze it so we can bring it back here and put it in containment." Abi said, "Go on now, it's only two blocks away."

Susan stood there, listening to the strange conversation, and looking at the PSP screen when Abunai showed the other girl.
"Am I gonna help too? Or just other peoples?" Susan asked, curious how long it would take for her to start helping he supposed 'co-workers'.
