"Gwah!" Adonna said as she moved out of the way before the water hit her. Then looked at Orpheus startled for a second then relaxed and kept walking, keeping pace with him. "Yes, I am a bit confused about that." She said looking up at the slowly disappearing moon, her eyes glinting from the light.

Hotaru looked over at Tenshou, "I guess we should be heading back too." She said standing up and stretching out.

Alek sat long in contemplation, trying to ease his mind. "Shiro will get back safely... I know he will. And if he doesn't there'll be hell to pay." He muttered to himself, thinking of just how he could present the problem of the Hydiscal expansion without a repeat performance of tonight. They would never listen to him if he didn't show them a capacity for calm. Come to think, that might be why people always listened to Shiro.
He smiled at the waning moon, and thought to himself, 'And all the world was in love with night and paid no heed to the garish sun...'
He then sloughed off to his home, hoping that he hadn't woken his sister or the baby, his half brother. They were his only relatives left that were living or that he cared to be in contact with. And he took care of them and raised them by himself, his mother being dead, and his father somewhere far away, and never likely to come back.

"I was raised by the naturals and have been friends with your father since I was young. He was the one who spoke with the old leader about letting a Hydiskal stay in a natural clan."

"Huh, I never would have guessed." Was all Adonna managed to say. She was lost in though for a moment entirely lost to the world around her. She looked down at the grass beneath her paws like it would give her the answers to the world, but then kept moving. "I guess father might be easier to sway than I guessed possible."

"Well even back then he was head strong, as a matter of fact I only joined this group to keep an eye on you. Your father knows and accepts that fact but he decided you may need a little protection." Slowing down and changing into his human form.

Adonna was shocked. “My dad knows?” And more than that, protection? How come her father hadn’t said anything about this? She knew they hadn’t been getting along lately, but all of this new news was something worth listening too. So was her father for peace as much as she was? “What in the world…” She had stopped now, so deep in thought trying to figure out what question to ask next, that she didn’t even realize it.

Alek walked through his house with what might have been lethargy, depression or both. He only paused for but a moment to look upon his sleeping siblings, noting the red orange eyes that stared back at him knowingly. Svetlana always seemed to know more about her big brother than did anyone but Shiro. She said nothing to him however, simply satisfied that he'd come back alive, apparently.
He continued on his way, still contemplating this night's events. Maybe, the only way to do this was to actually have Shiro consider meeting with the group. He hadn't wanted anything to do with them, and still didn't. However... this Hydiscal thing was an indirect threat to his mate.
Not for the first time did he do something rash, deciding on a whim that he would go and visit Shiro at his home. It would be a tough journey, but if he started now, then he would be there by the time about a half a day went by.... that is if noone got in his way.

He set out in a Nothwesternly direction, going as fast as stealth and the overlarge sword strapped to his back would let him. He stopped only once, to try and wash his scent off in a stream, before setting foot in Hydiscal territory for the first time, crossing the border with no heed to the warnings left there.

Kin had finally gotten free of her grandparents, telling them that she was just going out to see some friends. And after being later last night, that was no easy feat. Now she was wandering the borders where her clan seemed to be branching out into. The area was deserted now, but she could smell the remains of her kind going threw here about a week ago. She changed into her half form and sat down by a stream, and looked up threw a break in some of the trees trying to see the sun.

Alek's sense of smell admitedly wasn't the best, and so he was nearly upon Kin when he saw the other lupine creature. He skidded to a halt, instantly on gaurd when he saw the figure looking up to the heavens. Not sure of what to do, he decided that he was making good time.... which meant that he had time to stop.
He approached carefully, his left hand upon the hilt of his zambatou, as he crept towards Kin. He made his presense known subtley, bending down a thickly leaved branch just enough for those piercing red eyes of his to be visible.

Kin shot up like a rocket at the smell of the new creature. It wasn’t a familiar scent, and she had thought being so far out this way that she would be safe from surprise raids. "Who's there?" She called out, clinging to the desperate hope that it would be one of her friends, but her voice betrayed none of her insecurities. 'Oh man, I didn’t even bring my dagger. Stupid Kin, stupid.' She thought to herself.

"Do you really want to know, or are you asking out of habit?" The dark voiced man replied, the eyes narrowing in amusement. Had she been able to see the rest of his face she would realize that he was smiling, though whether it could be counted as a nice smile or not can not be said.
He chuckled a bit. "Don't get yourself all in a bunch... I'm just having fun with you." He went on to say, mockingly.

"Yes I want to know." She said starting to feel like an idiot. How did it take her so long to notice his arrival? And now even worse he was playing tricks on her. 'Well aren’t we just Mr. Jokester today?.' She thought to herself.

"We don't always get what we want though, do we?" He replied, and stepped out of the foilage with a smile on his face. His hand was still resting on his sword hilt, but it was no more than a procaution.
"When a source of mine told me that Hydiscals were making tracks onto his tribe's land, I was loathe to believe it. But I do suppose I have proof now, don't I?" He asked her, as nonchalant as though he did this everyday.

Kin felt her head c**k to the side lost in confusion and curiosity.” How... Who...What are you?" She managed, but didn’t fail to notice his hand on the hilt of his sword, so quickly snapped out of her dumm foundedness(sp). Then what was said last night finally came back to her along with her wits, "A Nekomata?" She said straightening out, and finally standing up.
