*~*

Jessica continued to aimlessly walk around. Surprisingly, she did't get tired easily. Since there was no clock around, she didn't even know how long its been. It was actually really calming here. She swore she was in a club with her friends before but this just seemed so much better. The wind blew lightly as she sat down on the grass. She was oblivious to everything that happened around her except the sound of leaves and grass rustling in the breeze

TK shrugged. "Hell if i know. remember, this is just a theory. it might not be the only explanation. but it does make sense, so this is the one we're sticking to... but if i die, whilst Kat is here, she might die aswell, or she might just wake up, completely dream-vision-free. but if that happens and she's naturally susceptible to 'dream wandering', she might, next time, find herself in a much worse place." she sighed. "still, its pretty unlikely im going to die anytime soon. dryads have very long lifespans. and im a wardancer, so im not gonna die fighting."
She leant back, looking at the Siri. "That probably wont help you. well, your 'suppressed persona', as it were, seems to be a fighter. although, they might still have a short lifespan. i would probably suggest just seeing if anything comes up, any memories at all, and just talking, pouring it out, until you suddenly remember. thats how we broke down our wall."

"I think I'm already dead." Francis muttered to no one in particular. "I got hit by a car back at home." He wrung his hands together behind his back. All Francis really wanted was to wake up and see if he was okay. He could do without a quest or elves following him around. The main problem now was the condition of his body back in the real world.

((Mew e.e'' this is so messed up XD my character is like, basically describing the setting xD e.e'' i was never rlly good at that e.e'' oh well, practice makes better ^^ ))

Suddenly, something in the distance disturbed the peace once here. Jessica didn't bother to turn around or franctically look for it. It was amazing how, in this form, she was able to pick up the tiniest details. The soft grass tickled her legs and she stood up slowly. Wind blew harder and the sky began to turn a sickly gray-ish color. Clouds rolled in and blocked off the sun entirely as if it was eaten. Her wings stretched and unfurled. A faint scent of lavender followed her. She took a few steps, quicker and quicker. In a matter of seconds, she joined the wind that floated in the sky. She wasn't too high up becuase of her slight acrophobia. A few minutes, she felt a presence...no, more than one below.

Monollius listened intently, getting a much stronger feel for this conversation, now that both had embellished their positions. "If I have followed thus far, the two of you, Lady Siri, and Lady Kat, have fallen asleep in your worlds, and while asleep have found yourselves here...

"That's most intriguing."

Monollius found himself trying to recall all he knew about this lot of information. "That is a theory, but a hard one to support. The idea of an exact replica soul living in another dimension, as you called it, is entirely unseemly.

"No, to me it seems much more likely that this is Celestial Intervention. The Celestials, seeing need, have brought forth those with the necessary skills to perform a required task. Something akin to those myriad other Holy Quest stories they tell children these days. They have brought together those that are needed, even reaching beyond human boundaries, yet still working within them.

"When you've done something right, most people will wonder if you've done anything at all... It would make sense for the Celestials to do such a thing. And I'm sure for the pair of you from beyond, from your Earth, shall suffer little to no consequences should you fail. Only we, the residents of this fair world, shall feel it. Thus collateral of any sort is vastly limited.

"Now the question stands: What is it we need YOUR help with?"

Since Doragon was hearing the conversation he understood that two of them came here from a sepperate dimension when they slept and the other was from here like him. He guessed the one from here would see him and run off or something like that so he walked off but he lay down nearby and winds started to blow around him in a spiral. He started creating large gusts of wind because he liked the feeling of the wind going through his long hair. If my calculations are correct this necklace will have it's last use tommorow. . .

"Nice job!" Rowan shouted glaring down at Willow once they were alone. "If you just shut your mouth and let me talk we'd still have a chance." With a small grunt, Willow turned her back and began moving away. "Hey! Come back here!" Rowan barked.

"I don't know what we're needed for," Francis said quietly, looking over his shoulder, "But it's making the faeries freak out. Two of them won't leave me alone no matter what I try."

Monollius now turned his curious gaze to Francis. "Faeries? You spoke with the Faeries? Then something certainly is amiss. They are far more adept at discerning disturbances in magick and nature than any other you can name. Only the strongest of mages, myself included, can be considered fair rivals in such an area." His gaze shifted away from all of the youths and toward the empty plains before them. Oh what a shame it would be, to leave it all, and so soon...

Siri looked at Francis, smiling. "So you're from Earth, too? That's good. At least its not just me and that one, " She nodded towards TK/Kat. "We don't really seem to get along too well." She frowned as her brain processed what he had said. "You were...hit by a car? Well, for all you know it could've just knocked you out! Just because you're here doesn't mean you're dead, right?"

Siri's eyes flicked back to TK, then quickly away. "I don't want to force anything, " She muttered, eyes downcast. She wasn't ready to admit that she was afraid of what her other persona might have done. It might not be to her liking, and Siri didn't want the others to know that, essentially, she was afraid of herself. What if the spirit that normally occupied this body took over and started killing everyone in sight? Siri shook her head and continued speaking, "It'll probably happen when the time is right."

Siri listened to Francis and Monollius speak of faeries. Great, now she had stalkers to worry about, too? She really had no idea why she was here, and no one else seemed to know, either. She sighed. This world was much more complicated than high school.

TK smiled at the old man. "we'll have to put that to the test someday," she said, brushing her green hair back to reveal a pointed ear.
looking to the others, she said. "so, we've established that unconsciousness sends us here. but we still are unsure of the other persona part. i personally think that, if he" gesturing to monollius "is right, and the celestials are sending them here, that perhaps they couldn't just take them from their place and bring them to ours, as that would upset the balance.
"so they've opted for our consciousness to come here. that can only happen when we are unconscious. however, they needed to make sure that there still wouldn't be an imbalance. so they opted to transfer the consciousness of these 'chosen ones' into selected members of this place's population.
"sometimes the chosen one's consciousness's are in control of the single body, sometimes they might be quashed by a strong-willed holder.
"however, if they get the balance right, they can be like us, joined together and able to take knowledge from both of our histories."

Great, the only people Who haven't hated me for no reason or ignored my existence have been those two faeries. Thought Doragon.

Aria walked until she could no longer hear the faeries' voices, her fear and anger making it impossible to just slow down and think. Who did they think they were, anyway, just telling her to get going on figuring out what was killing their world. Not even a please.

She blinked. Bright light was coming through the trees up ahead, as though the forest was ending. She let out a slow, calming breath, her expression one of profound relief, and started jogging toward the tree line. When she reached it, she caught her breath at the view in front of her.

She had never seen such emptiness. There were mountains off in the distance, but they were far enough that they almost looked like smoky mirages. Everything else was just... space.

Well, that wasn't quite true, she amended, frowning as her eyes caught on what looked like a group of people standing a ways off. They looked out of place in the middle of such vast openness, almost contaminating it. She could see Francis among them, and thought she caught a flash of green hair.

She just stood there, still partially hidden by the trees, feeling indecisive. This world was obviously trouble, and it would be good to have backup.

Siri shifted, uncomfortable with the silence that had descended upon their small group after TK spoke. She still didn't like thinking she was sharing another person's body. It felt...intrusive. If it had been the other way around, and the girl whose consciousness she was repressing had taken control of her body, Siri would be very offended. She'd probably fight back with everything she had.

Out loud, Siri mused, "What if they couldn't reach a balance, but both of the personalities were active at the same time? What would happen then?" Her eyes flickered to each of the other people she was standing with, wondering who they were, what their histories were, and if they were like her. If they were as wary of their body's host as Siri herself was.

Her ears picked up the sound of a twig snapping somewhere in the distance. Her eyes instantly went to the spot where she believed it had come from, and she shifted her body a few inches to the side. Siri realized she must have walked much farther than she had originally thought, as she could now see trees where there had once been flatlands. And coming from between those trees, Siri felt the unmistakable feeling of someone peering back out at her.

She moved into a defensive position without realizing it, her feet spread to about shoulder width, body held a bit lower than normal. Her arms were held tightly at her sides, one resting lightly on the pouch at her waist. Her other hand was raised in front of her, protecting the first arm. She had done all of this instinctively, not processing any of it. Siri was still unaware of her own paranoia, even as she muttered loud enough for the others to hear, but low enough to not carry to the stranger, "Someone's watching us. From the trees."

She didn't even have any proof that was someone there. All she had was a feeling in her gut, and she knew that she was right.

((I'm sorry for my sudden disappearance. My computer fried, and I haven't exactly had that many opportunities to get on since then.

I'm not sure when I'll have it back up, but I will definitely do what I can to get back.))

TK looked towards the tree-line, then nodded. "i do believe your right. she looked at where the tree's said the girls was standing, then concentrated, letting the vines rise up, before attempting to wrap themselves around the girl. she hadn't realized she'd closed her eyes, but opened them.
"well, i sent some vines to wrap around her.if she doesn't fight them off, they'll hold her tight. in response to your earlier question.. i honestly don't know. like ive said multiple times, this is pretty much mostly theory. still, you really ought to see if you can integrate yourself into the person whose body you're currently residing in. whatever they've done, it'll almost certainly be better in the long run. your other person, as per se, will have knowledge about what they can do, the area, their history.. the pros outweigh the cons."
she seemed utterly unfazed by anything, but her eyes looked around, not darting, but still they betrayed the hint of ripples in her calm exterior. she loosened the twin blades, with bright green and yellow ribbons wrapped around the hilts, in their sheaths. her wardancer training made her more than a match to most attackers, but she was always more comfortable in a pack.
'at least, i would be. if there were any packs left. how sad, most of them have migrated or died out. and now im one of the only practitioners of a dying art. what will the world be like once its gone? will it remember us, try to emulate us? will it succeed? will it fail? or will it forget us and our art, like the others that have come before us. a melancholy thought for melancholy times.'
