Sakura grinned as Maryn decided to take her up on that offer. She would hate herself if something where to happen to her out here. "Nah, it won't be any troulbe at all."

Kay-Dash smiled at Maryn not really caring at how her voiced sounded. "As long as you don't lose control of your powers you should be fine." He said as he turned his back.

Maryn was happy about having a roomate like Sakura for about 5 seconds until she heard what Mr Kay-Dash said. If only he knew that she really did lose control of her powers. Maryn smiled at him concealing her pain "Alright I wont"

((I'm back for now, but probably not for too much longer.))
Sakura heard this, and it all made sense now. Maryn hid in the woods to escape death, and she was filled with guilt. But, it wasn't her fault. It was the downside of having powers: holding them in too long would only result in an outbreak. Going to a normal school was a huge problem for this: Sakura used to go to a old lake, and let her powers out there to prevent outbreaks such as this, as well as in her house in general. Thankfully, she stayed in her apatment and had no roommate, so it went well for her.

Orphis laughed a bit. "I missed you Koori. How have you been?" He asked her, looking at the way she changed. "I like your new look." He said to her.

He looked at her. "Don't feel bad about something in the past. If you dwindle in the past your future will look just as bad or good until reality smacks you in the face and it will smack you hard." he said staring right through her.
"What about the mugger though, that was all over the news. I told you those ice spikes would be useful."

Maryn sighed "She was the only one I told about my powers who was normal and still accepted me. I don't live in the past but I feel pain from it every day." Maryn said "And about that mugger, I still dont feel right about that either, I should have stopped him not killed him."

It was so plain to see that Maryn was filled with guilt, Sakura had to say something to cheer her friend up. "Well, she knows it wasn't your fault; it wasn't like you chose for that to happen. And as for hte muggler, well, it was self defense. Sure, a tad bit overborad, but at least that's one less muggler on the street taht would hurt people in the long run." She felt so ridiculous for putting the second situation in a brighter light, but hopefully it would help lighten Maryn up.

"Not to ruin your mood,but the mugger you killed was a serial killer. He was on his way out of town. If you didn't stop him I would of been sent out to chase him because just like you and me he had certain powers as well, but that is classified."
he reached into his right pocket and pulled out his wallet.
"I shouldn't be showing you this, but i guess I should." he opened up his wallet and showed his Special Forces id card and badge.
"That badge indicates that I'm a Captain in the United States Special Forces.
I'm also the reason your not behind bars for the murder of your roommate."

Koori smiled at him. "I've missed you too. I'm doing pretty good. Almost finished with college. I decided to study abroad... I was alone at first then I met him." She indicated the boy next to her. "And thanks." Koori had finally seen him after five years and hardly recognized him. "Seems like you've changed too."

Maryn sighed "I'm sorry, I'm bringing down the mood right now and it's for me to deal with." Maryn said as she forced a fake smile upon her face. Maryn looked over to Kay-Dash "You may be a member of Special Forces, but how did would you know where to find me." Maryn turned invisible

"I didn't. It wasn't my main priority to find you just to keep you out of the trouble your always in. I met Alli and i followed her here."
