-Hell is not a place, it's a state of mind and body; Hell is an obssession with a voice, a face, a name.
-Happiness is like the first intoxication of Morphine... it doesn't last very long.
-It's very difficult to be a murder without having to kill from time to time you know.
- Does the sound of your voice make her smile like that? Can your unseen presence lift her from her chair and make her turn with slavish joy? Can you spirit her away from beneath the very eyes of a stupefied rival...like this?
All of them from SK's Phantom. I like them cause some are just plain sarcastic and the others are just Oh, moments. whee

-Erik and his manager again.
"She's married to the new manager."
"Good God. That means she's probably going to sing all the time. What kind of horror are you leaving me in?"
-Erik gives his opinion on Carlotta.
"Erik, what are we going to do about all this?"
"I know what to do about it... I'll kill them both."
"Eriiik..."
"Oh, I'm teasing. Probably the only one I need to kill is her."
"Erik!"
"What has happened to your sense of humor?"
-Erik and the manager disagree on a plan of action.
"I suppose she'll be choosing the opera season too?"
"The way I understand it, she plans to run everything."
"Right. ...Well, that settles it, I'm coming with you."
-and agree on something mutually beneficial.
"Sometimes I forget that I'm fit for nowhere but these gloomy vaults, bereaved of light. Like blackness itself. For I am blackness itself, aren't I? Where are my golden tents? Where are my lambs rejoicing?"
-Erik angsts.
"Good morning! Did you sleep well? I like that room. Good cozy bed, pleasant water view... So, what shall we do today? Oh, I have an idea! How about a picnic?"
-Erik is far too cheerful in the morning.
"Erik, if I sing for you will you grant me a favor?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because you must sing for love and joy, not for gain. I will grant you a favor regardless of what you do, just tell me what it is you wish."
-Christine tries to wheedle something out of Erik and finds it easier than anticipated.
"Do you like these woods of mine?"
"Yes, very much."
"They stretch on almost forever... Come, there's a path over here. One can get quite hopelessly lost in these woods if one does not know the path, or have a guide who does."
-Erik gives Christine the creeps with his underground forest.
"Shh... The morning birds! Pheasant too, I hear. Squirrels, foxes, rabbits, all playing most harmoniously, like this magic music... You are magic too, I think."
"Oh, no... I don't think that."
"I can tell. Magic is my friend. Magic cannot hide from me."
-Erik, friend of magic.
"You've seen my face! No one who's seen my face gets out of here alive, I thought everybody knew that!"
-Erik looses his temper.
"All in all it wasn't that bad... being born. Because I could hear music and I heard Christine."
-Erik sums up his life.
"Come back in... a day."
-Erik tells his father when to bury him.
Mildly disturbed that I did all those from memory without any hesitation.
I have to go watch that movie now. *scampers off*

I was playing a improv. game with my acting class. one person is a host. three other people are a famouse dead person, a famouse person alive, and a person from a book. each of us could chose one thing to say and ONLY say that. the poor host keeps us under control.....I was Erik, chose that quote. my friend was Lincoln, thats the famouse dead person, all she said was "I have a tall hat!".....it was a verryy intersting party.....then Britney Spears came in and only said "Oops I did it again" yes very scary party.......so as erik I was sneaking up behind every other person with a rope. and "Lincoln" and I got into an argument......
"I have a tall hat!!"
"I am Erik!!"
"I have a tall hat!!"
"I am erik!"
and so on. I love improv. xd

I think I am getting the quote dreadfully wrong, but I even made a background concerning this one...o_o I cant even rememeber where it came from! I am thinking, the gaston leroux book, but it may have been one of the fanfics I read....Ooooh.... I am really confused now...my mind is mushing all of the phantom stories I read into one... hehe.... sweatdrop
Like, where Eric starts to ventrilequistisize (SHUTUP!) everything in the room ^_^;;...

I love the part is Susan Kay's book where Nadir and Erik was walking throug the bizzare, and Nadir says something like, "She expects you to barter, it is our custom!"
Erik: "F*ck your customs!"
xd That made me laugh so hard. I heart Erik.
Also, the part where he's talking to the Khana, and she says, "Would you like to walk around with your genitals in a small jar?"
Erik: "Are you so sure a small jar would hold me?"
