Returning with a stack of the huge leaves in her mouth, and a few stray flowers all up in her fur, Liliana muffled back, "Mmhmpf! I'mph fhhine!"
Then with a motioned head wave, she added, "whrelly! jhoo shood relaxth!"

Haruki shook his head. "I'll rest when when night falls...seeing how I can't fly at all tonight." He mumbled the last part and picked a few more leafs, then brought them back to the bedding area. "I think you have enough now." He said after he used his nose to rearrange a few leafs to make the bedding a bit more comfortable.

Liliana felt a ping of guilt, 'cause she guessed by the look on Haruki's face that his mumble had something to do with flying..
When he told her she had enough, she didn't argue;
she just set the last of what she had in the pile.
After she helped spread the leaves around, she watched the butterflies fly around the falls.
Not really wanting to lie down yet either, she wandered over to the waterfall.
Falling mist surrounded her and she curiously watched as the water fell inches from her nose.
Temption called her to stick her nose in, but she refrained.

Haruki looked up to see where Liliana went. He found her beside the water fall and went off to her side. "Don't fall in." He joked and nudged her with his hip. He looked up to see the butterflys looking for shelter for the night. His ears twitched as they picked up ping sounds of the night. One small bat flew over head and headed into the trees. "I love magic hour."

Haruki nudged Liliana just enough that the tip of her nose was emerged in the water.
She let out a small squeal and pulled her head back quickly.
Glancing at Haruki, she smiled with a slight giggle;"Thanks."
Sending a small, returning nudge to him, she joked
"Magic hour? Is that when we get to sleep?"

Haruki ruffled his wings on his back after Liliana nugded him. He looked up to the first star of the night. "Magic hour is when the world changes. You sleep in you dream, save and warm but it's also the time when the child of the night come out to play." He saw another bat fly pass and smiled.

Holding back another joke, Liliana replied with a soft, "Oh" instead.
Impressed by his poetic notation, she smiled and added, "That's very deep, Uki."
Liliana found pleasure from watching Haruki find happiness out of the little things; it was hard to find minya like that anymore.
She walked over closer to him and leaned her head softly against his.
"Nighttime calls you, Uki..., you should go play."

Haruki could feel heat coming from his cheeks, he didn't think he was being deep at all, he was just saying is all. "Um..Thanks." He said finely.
Haruki moved his head away from Liliana so he could shake it with out bumping it against her's. "I can't...Not this night." He had the nagging feeling that that would up set her so he quickly added. "I have to make sure your dreams are kept save tonight." Where was he getting this stuff, it was so unlike him.

For such a beautiful place, Liliana found Haruki's implications to be a little odd, even if they were very thoughtful.
Looking around her she asked, "Um.. why? Is there something out here I should be afraid of?

Haruki cursed him self under his breath for what he said. "why did I say that!" He glanced to Liliana and sighed. "No there is nothing here that will pray apon you or any thing our size." Then a wonderful idea popped into his head to lighten the mood. "That is except of me!" He opened his wings and crouch his front low to the ground, his back end up in the air wiggling about along with his tail.

At first response, Liliana was confused..
if there was nothing out here, what was he protecting her from?
But then Uki got ready to dive, and instead of thinking logically again,
she broke into a smile and bowed down ready to play along with him.
Keeping eye contact, she slyly replied,
"Oh, yeah, real dangerous."

Haruki grinned, happy that she dropped the subject. "You know it!" And with that he pounced on her and stold the lily ribbon in her fur by her ear. "Mine now!" He said in a muffled voice from holding the ribbon in his mouth. He took off into the forest.

Liliana bounced back up after being pounced on and chased after Uki with a smile. "Heyyy! come back here you!" she hollered with a smile.
Eventually after she caught up to him, she pounced on him from behind.
They tumbled a few feet, but Liliana landed on top.
"And that," she said as she reached down and slowly took the ribbon from Uki's mouth, " would be mine. All while she managed to keep a deep "lost-in-your-eyes" contact with him.

Haruki tumbled and rolled and couldn't believe he ended up, belly up with Liliana on top of him. When she bent down to take the ribbon he couldn't help him self, not after that look she was giving him. It was like his brain shut down ane he was acting on instint. He spite the ribbon out, shut his gray eyes tight and kissed her.

Liliana knew what was coming before the thought probably even entered Haruki's mind; she saw it in his eyes.
There was just some sort of connection between them, but she didn't know what it was; she had never felt this way before.
The moment his soft lips pressed hers, her heart lept in her chest.
The butterflies both in her stomach and in the forest seemed to float around with joy.
She slowly pulled away from Uki and opened her eyes.
She was absolutely glowing from head to toe, and no matter if she tried to or not, nothing could hold that back.
She bent down and grabbed the ribbon a few inches from Haruki's shoulder, and stepped off of him.
Turning around with sparkles in her eyes, she looked at him, still lying on the ground, and seductively implied with a grin;
"Come and get it, cutie."
Liliana turned around and ran back towards the waterfall.
