She merely chuckles at James' words. She looks at Uma. "Hmm, you look like someone who I can talk to. Why are there Tor assassins in the middle of this forest?" She sheathes her sword and walks over to Uma but stays a good distance from her in case anything happens.

She reveals her eyes to akane and says " Why would assasins be anywhere? They have a target and it's in this forest" Uma reaches a hand in her cloak " Who or what that target is remains a mystery but we for some reason have been attacked" she says her words in a ghost like whisper but still keeps her hand in her cloak . She looks directly at akane.

Akane has her hand on the hilt of her sword and looks at Uma. "The latest thing my men have told me is that their is an heir to the old Caliphen empire. Apparently the Tor empire is threatened that the heir will restore the old order. It could be possible that the heir is in this forest. But that is all merely an assumption. But then again the Tor assassins are rarely dispatched." Akane looked at Uma's eyes. "Those are very interesting eyes."

Uma's stare did not change it was still cold and dark. She whispered " The heir in this forest? possibly...for a while I have sensed a strange force...different from any other in this forest. Thank you...but my eyes are of no concern to you" Uma slowly began to pull her hand out of her cloak still staring at akane.

Akane chuckled. "Can't take a compliment I see." She pulled on the hilt of her sword a bit. "Are you going to start a fight here and now? That would not be very wise. Of course if you don't mind the attention of Tor soldiers surrounding the place, then by all means, be my guest." Akane began to pull her sword so that a bit of the blade was seen coming undone from the sheath.

Uma gazed at the blade swiftly and continued to pull out a small flask of water from her cloak she had seen what she needed to. " One must not enter battle so quickly, you must analyze the situation at hand" she takes a small swig of water
" On one hand you are right the tornish assasins should not be drawn so near but you've given me the perfect chance to trap you" uma's gaze goes straight to akane's feet where roots have encased her legs without her knowing..Uma releases the trap and whispers" as I said never rush too quickly into battle, you never know if one has already begun"

Akane smirked. "This should be quite interesting but should I really reveal myself to you?" Akane took her sword and blood began to drip from the sword onto the roots thus draining the life from them. "I don't think that I should stay and play." A shadow began to encase Akane. "I must bid you farewell for now. Maybe another day." The shadow began to sink into the larger area of shadows trying to escape with Akane.

Uma's stare did not peel away from akane's. " i bid you farewell assasin" Uma begins to read some parchment she had in her bag. she then whisperes " That blade you feed it too often it develops more power through starvation" Uma recedes back into her hood so that her face is yet again hidden and continues to read.

Akane ran back to her lair and felt something was happening with her blade. "Oh dear, who is trying to tamper with you my dear." Her eyes began to glow and she put her fingers onto the kanji symbols on her blade. She sent a jolt of energy through the area with the kanji. The blade began to become encased in a dark crystal. She then chanted and the crystal shattered. "No one will tamper with you my dear."

Uma finishes her reading and takes the entire situation in " The tornish know the heir is here...I pray they will not find him...I need him alive." she eats a small meal and practices some weaponry skills.

One of Akane's men walked into her room. "What news do you have for me?" The man replied saying "The word has been confirmed. Apparently the heir of the Caliphen empire. We found one of the Tor assassins and interrogated him. After several hours of torture he revealed that the heir is rumored to be in the forest." Akane sheathed her sword and smiled. "Excellent. Well then continue on your duties. I'm going to set out and find this heir." She walked out and began to venture through the forest.

Calison filled up his water skin from a near by stream. Shard drank his fill before leaping back onto his master's shoulder. "When are we ditching them?" Calison placed the water skin back in his pack as he thought about his answer, he had been planning the exact details of what he had in mind but didn't have anything solid yet.
"Sometime tonight...nothing much beyond that..." The fox gave what appeared to be a sigh as Calison made his way back to where the others were.

Akane observed Calison. "Fascinating. Could it be him?" Akane jumped down behind Calison. "Hello there little boy? Now what are you doing here wandering the forest? It's dangerous here."

Calison turned to face her, Shard glared at the newcomer with intense eyes. "My business is my own, what about you, you seemed to have spooked my fox for him to have intense eyes now." Calison was also somewhat wary of this woman, after the assassin attack earlier he was already a bit on edge; maybe leaving the group behind later tonight wasn't such a good idea.

She looked at Shard and whistled. Her wolf came running through the forest and landed in front of her. "My dearest Wolfbane." She looked at Calison. "Now I wonder, what is the business of your venture through this forest? Not many come through her. And ever since you've come the Tor soldiers have been in a flurry of anxiousness. Hm, I wonder why."
