Kana slipped past him into the bedroom and looked around. It was still as nice as ever. "The stadium? Did something happen?" Kana looked confused. She hadn't heard the news yet.

*He cocks an eyebrow at her question. Had she really not heard? The news has been spread now throughout the greater Barton area. She must have really been away*
It's rather suprising that you've yet to hear about it... the Stadium has been destroyed... hundreds were killed and many still missing...

Kana's heart literally stopped beating for a second as her pale skin went white as a ghost. "Destroyed? Dead? Missing? Oh gods... Serenity... Vahn..." Had they made it out? Well, there was no doubt that Vahn had made it, her ex was quite capable of surviving almost anything. But her daughter? Was Serenity alright? Kana's body grew weak at the thought that anything might have happened to her child, her legs buckling beneath her as she started to collapse.

*Enki's legs acted before he even told them to, causing his whole body to lunge forward, his arms out stretched. He catches Kana in his grasp and spins around, righting himself as he holds her gently against his chest*
It's ok, Hawkling... I'm sure they made it out alive... everyone who was in the Stadium when it collapsed was somehow transported outside the walls...

"Are you sure? Are you positive?" The poor woman looked as if she were about to cry, her body trembling as the tears welled in her eyes. "I should go... make sure... find them..." She wasn't his wife anymore, but that didn't mean that she didn't care about Vahn. And she sure as hell cared about her daughter.

Hawk, the only thing you'll find were you to go down there now is rubble. The bodies have been moved away and the missing persons could be anywhere

*Enki walks into the room and closes the door, then goes and flops down on the bed*
Most of them are probably in Latent... all of the injured were moved to the hospitol there. As for the dead... we won't be able to find them all until we start building the new Stadium...

Hawk I'm sure your... family... is fine... but if you insist on going on a wild goose chase, then go for it. They could be ANYWHERE on Gaia... but odds are, they'll find their way back to the stadium, as some already have...

((This happens about a week after the RP in Feimurgan))
*Enki rises up from the ocean onto the sandy beaches of his home on Leviathan Island. Not a footprint left in the sand and only the small tracks of scuttling crabs show any sign of life upon the island. It had gotten so desolate there over the years that he didn't have a large need to return there*
I need to start coming back here more often... the last remaining relic of my people and my true home...
*Enki signs and pulls his shades off of his head, then closes them in his right hand and looks down at them*
I'm tired of hiding...
*He then rears back his arm and lets the sunglasses fly out into the ocean, a small "plop" heard as the expensive glasses hit the surface of the water and begin to sink deep into the depths around the small island. With that, Enki turns and heads into his old, almost forgotten home to get a well deserved nap*

Once again, she had returned. It would seem that her heart always drew her back to the island and the temple... or was it something else... this had been the place where she had first found a family and a home. Her first child had been born here.
Despite all her shame and guilt, she still found herself standing before the doors of her former home. She was drenched, rain soaking through her clothing as her wet hair clung to her pale face. Gray eyes stared at the doors, unblinking as she stood lost in thought. He had never turned her away, but after all she had done to him and to Alexander, would he really accept her back in the way she wished to return? She hesitated for a moment before finally opening the doors.
Slowly she crossed over the threshold, the sound of the wind, the rain, and the ocean waves were like a symphony, heralding her entrance. Standing in the doorway, she looked about as tears mingled with the rain water. Kana had returned home, but whether it would remain home remained to be seen.

*Enki stands in front of the large, open window in his main chamber. Watching the rain, letting the wind blow his hair, and enjoying the scent of the fresh water upon the ocean, Enki is in a very content state. He sees Hawk walking up the beach, not rushing to help her, not jumping down dramatically, only watching and waiting*

Kana knew the layout of the temple and she knew where she would find Enki. Up she went, to the place where they had shared many a peaceful night's sleep and less peaceful nights as well.
She didn't knock, she didn't need to knock. She knew he was alone because the only strong scent in the home was his, all others had faded to nothing but memories. Kana opened the doors and her gaze swept across the room before landing on Enki's form where he stood by the window.
"Enki..." Her eyes spoke more than her voice, the shame, the guilt, the pain, the love.

*Enki closes his eyes, then reopens them after a deep breath. He turns around and smiles gently at the beautiful form before him, feeling his heart skip a couple beats at the sight*
