arrow Hikari

Hikari blinks as she's called out to before turning to see Haro. With her usual grin and a quick nod, she quickly responds. "Hai, Sukonku-baka." Then she tilts her head and looks at him. His wounds before were quite serious, and even Medixia had required her help to close them up. Of course, it hadn't helped any that the medical woman had been rather rough, but even Hikari could tell what was hidden beneath those actions. As with any child, her thoughts quickly bubble into speech. "Shouldn't you be in there? Ban-chan was worried about you... We all were." She pauses for a moment. "...and are." It's a simple truth pointed out quite plainly by the reiatsu-intense child.

arrow Saigo

Saigo quickly grasps at her side where she'd been stabbed. As much as Medixia had helped her, she still had a ways to go for healing. She's grateful for all the kindness thus far, but its hard for her to believe that she'd be simply left to let live within Soul Socieity without some kind of interogtation. She cringes from the pain she still feels even as she thinks. She's not bitter about what's she believes likely to come. On the contrary, she'd be bitter towards those who brought her into Jigoku. As it seems everybody has seen fit to leave her be, she decides to watch everything in silent thought.

He smirked ever so slightly as he sat there, a dark coloured tear slipped from his eye, even his damned tears had been tainted by the poison. "It is hard to believe she cares. She always treats me like dirt, when I have done nothing wrong. I was trying to help and she grabbed me threw me and kicked me...I mean...it's not like I can make her happy." He said with a low chuckle. He put his hands on his head as he sat there, this whole deal had put a lot of stress on both his body and mind. "But even if she was worried...it isn't like I can help in there too much, I mean, I am not a good healer, and I would only get in Medixia's way." He said with a shrug. "But there is no need to worry about me. I will live, I just have to get used to this.." He said, looking down to his pitch black skin. "After that is gone, then I will be fine." He said with a smirk. He rested his head against the tree-trunk and he shook it ever so slightly. "Do you ever wonder Hikari...what it would be like to be human again?" He asked as he sat there.

Hikari tilts her head in a curious way while pushing her chin with a hand she frees from her zanpakutou. "What's so hard to believe?" She'd seen how hard she worked to save his life. She even felt she knew the reason Medixia had been so rough in the first place. "Do you think she was punishing you for disobeying her?" Hikari's still a child, so she can clearly remember how rough a punishment seems even while parents still show love and affection. She looks up to the sky, clouds passing by while thinking about Haro's last, hanging question. "She kinda reminds me of mommy; though, maybe not as gentle." Though she looks homesick, Hikari really has no care if she exists as a human or not. The here and now is much more fun anyway, not that she knows to actually answer Haro's question.

Haro watched as the girl tilted her head as she held her zanpakutou. "It's hard to believe because she is always so damned violent with me." He said with a laugh. "I understand she is trying to help...I really do...but I mean, it's not helping when she is so damned forceful about everything." He said with a sigh. "It feels that way...like she is punishing me, but I know she isn't." He said with a shrug of his shoulders. "I guess I am just too sensitive." He said with a laugh as he held his head back against the trunk of the tree. He wiped away the tears on his cheek, staining his hand a dark blackish color. "I would hope your mom would have been more gentle than her." He said with a laugh as he reached over and ruffled her hair with a smirk. "You are a good kid Hikari. Thank you. But I am sure you have better things to do than sit around here with this old soul hmm?" He asked with a laugh. He had been around for thousands of years...even though he looked as young as Kaosu and Tsai. He just smiled brightly, wiping his eyes again to rid himself of the lingering tears. "I remember being human...even though it has been so long. I remember everything." He said with a smile as he bathed in his memories of his past for a moment. Wife...children on the way. He had a good life before he died.

With a nod, I reply to this new man I've met. "That would be the case." This talk is giving me the chance to take in some information, so I may as well not squander it. There are some questions I have, not the least of which involves just what happened here and why a child is among them. First... "Kago would be fine. No need to stand on formalities with me." Besides, hearing somebody refer to my by my familial... With a smirk to hide the anguish in my heart, I turn the subject. "Speaking of what goings ons have been, I could barely even feel the rumble of the battle." My reiatsu sense is weak after all. "I also see a child among you. Though Rukongai taught me to be wary of judging one's age, I can't shake her appearance." I almost sigh. I don't sound like a thug one might expect from Rukongai 72. Instead, I've taken up my careful speech I'm familiar with. "Perhaps spare some time to enlighten this old vagabond."

Ah...

::Medixia takes in a long, deep breath.::

...choo!

::Heaving a sigh after the sneeze, she looks around to make sure she didn't blast anything towards sterelized equipment. It'd do no good if she went and did something like that. With a shake of her head, she goes back to what she was doing, helping the injured. Wiping her upper arm across her forehead she can feel her fatigue. Gah...::

Hikari gives Haro a curious expression. She's so young she remembers more of her death and subsequent years spent as a plus than her actual life. She does have a vague recollection of her parents, but their faces and voices are blurry. She comes in closer, almost as if giving him an inspection. It's curious to her how anybody could remember their life in the human world, let alone as clearly as he seems to be implying. "I don't really remember much. Do grown-ups just remember differently, Sukonku-baka?" It's probably a question not to be terribly unexpected from Hikari. She died at around the age of eight, and she hasn't really experienced all that much when compared to anybody else.

Haro could see the expression on her face, soft and curious. He laughed as he thought of her, she must have been rather young when she died. He wasn't sure how old she was now, but he knew that she was a little girl when she had perished. As she came closed he merely smiled, he didn't mind having the little girl any distance from him...he remembered his own children, how they were before he died. He smiled when he thought about it and laughed as he looked at her. "You kind of remind me of my daughter." He said with a laugh as he looked at her, he hadn't seen such a young little kid in so long, he just realized how Hikari's presence affected him. "Well, I guess they do, because they have been around a lot more, so they have more to remember, and they might have more exercise on their brain to remember things, but a child will remember more of their younger years...at least I would think so." He said. He just laughed as he looked at her and he shook his head. "So, what is next for you huh?" He asked with a smile. "You are so small, and yet you have grown stronger than I in the past small while. It's a wonder." He said with a laugh.

"Then it's Kago." He nodded, still sitting on the ground, neck craning upwards. "I really don't care what ya call me." Finally, unsettling his position and standing, he dusted off his hakama and readjusted his zanpakutou.

"Hmm. Appearences are decieving around here. I don't know how old she is, but she appears childish. Most of the others around here are old, just appear young." He paused a moment, looking up. "I'm only fifteen. Gonna be sixteen here soon, I guess."

As is often the case, there are two sides of Hikari. She can seem like a calm, curious child, perhaps the neko in her. She can seem like a fiery, ferocious warrior, perhaps the ryuu in her. She's never stopped to think about her strength versus others, not when she's fighting for their sakes. She's only compared her strength to Haro's when she's fought him, losing best of three. In her mind, she hasn't won a single match against those who call her strong, and she can hear Sumizome contradicting his words within her mind. "Sukonku-baka... I haven't beaten anybody strong. I lost to Hentai-san and Sukonku-baka." She remembers her sparse victories, though. Hikari remembers them against either somebody to weak to offer a challenge or injured so that her true strength just wasn't there.

Still. She looks up with a curiosity at his words. Perhaps she has grown stronger. Hikari has learned and spoken Munashii's name. She can clearly see the nekonin and ryuunin within her inner sanctum. She looks at the chaotic swirl adorning the crossguard of her zanpakutou. "Perhaps I need to revisit that place and grow stronger..." She thinks to herself while recounting the words spoken to her. She looks back to Haro with his question in mind. "What's next?" ...she repeats part of his question back. "I want to know Munashii better, and I want bankai!" Defeating hollow is really a secondary priority to her. Her top priority is to grow as strong as Aichou, gain bankai, and show everybody what Munashii is really capable of!
PostPosted: Sat Dec 15, 2007 6:10 am

He smirked at her reaction to his comment about her strength, it wasn't hard to read her, since he had been around long enough to see a lot of expressions and know their meanings. He just shook his head gently. "You have not beaten anyone strong because you have not fought anyone strong recently. If you were to fight me now Hikari...you would pummel me." He said with a laugh as he looked at her. Raven himself had not yet reached the shikai state, he needed a little bit more training, though he hadn't seen the zanpakutou soul in a while, he knew that he needed to get some work done on it soon. "Maybe after I reach Shikai me and you can spar again." He said with a smile as he looked at her. "I also wish I could attain Bankai, but it will take an amazing amount of time." He said with a nod. "Bankai could take years of training for you." He said as he looked at her.

arrow Hikari

Hikari gives Haro a dissatisfied frown as she furrows her brow. Her arms cross her chest, holding her zanpakutou a little tighter but not in the usual way she 'hugs' it. She's pouting, in a rather child-like fashion. She even puffs her checks out a bit as she responds. "BA-ka!" She sputters with an odd, child-like charm. She stamps her foot lightly as she looks away with a... "Hmph." With a second of thought, her expression calms. "It's not like we can find out too soon." "...but...all I can aim for is bankai." She looks at her zanpakutou with a start and blinks. "Munashii wants to go all out, too..." She half-whispers to herself without realizing the words slipped past her lips.

arrow Saigo

After several moments of doing nothing, Saigo stands. Though wary of her injury, she still stumbles as she gets up and clasps her hands to her side. She's still wearing the red Aikou gave her. Perhaps it would be better to blend in with the Seireitei Shinigami, but she knows well enough that as a Jigoku Shinigami that somebody will be making their way here soon enough to interrogate her. She doesn't know when exactly, but she knows that it's the only logical conclusion. With a heavy sigh, she looks at her zanpakutou's kunai. "What am I supposed to do, now?"
PostPosted: Mon Dec 17, 2007 6:27 pm

"B...b..but, I didn't do anything! I am only stating the obvious, that doesn't make me an idiot, it makes me realistic. Sheesh!" He growled as he pouted about it, closing his eyes and heaving a sigh. He was as much a child as she was in some ways. "I know that you both probably want to go all out, but it will still take a very long time of training to accomplish, to gain the same sort of strength that Aichu has." He said with an nod as he looked at her. "But one day, I know you and Munashii will attain your goal. I know it!" He said happily. "Right now...I don't even know my zanpakutou's name. He has spoken to me, and he speaks the german language, but I have no idea what his name is. I just have to wait and see." He said with a shrug of his shoulders.

Hikari can only blink at 'German' - the word is meaningless to her. She rolls the word around on her tongue a few times. It sounds completely foreign and far fetched. At the same time, she feels an odd reminiscence. With a shake of her head, she wonders where that came from. Of course, she is instantly reminded of the library which crops up in her inner sanctum from time to time. With a long breath, she looks at Haro with a somewhat perplexed look before... "If I say Sukonku-baka is baka, Sukonku-baka is baka." It's hard to tell if it's the 'innocence of youth' or the girl just doesn't have any tact. With a noise that could be mistaken for a chuckle or giggle, she continues. "Munashii just shared her name with me, right before that battle. I'm gonna become really strong and let Munashii show off completely!" With a wide grin, she grips her zanpakutou and separates the katana just enough from the sheath to allow some gleam from the metal. Of course, this also reveals the kanji 'Mamoru'.
