Ooh! I'll post a copy of my speculative writing opening thing... Hmmm... I don't remember if he liked it or not...
Heres his comment- Robert, You have some effective elements.Remember this is only an opening. I think it would be better to stick to real world characters and situations. This is a bit too much on the fantasy side. Grade A
How gay is that?

Very! I think your opening is awesome, I must admit though, I think it'd be better if you waited a little longer to introduce the magic, either that or made it so that magic was implicated from the very beginning. I can see why your teacher said what he said - introducing magic and having a character vanish so abruptly is very risky and it either makes or breaks a story. You have to make it majorly believable but I think you could do it. ^_^ Do you have to continue that story or was it a one off?

He also said it was "too long" and "Too fantasy"... wich he never explained in class what genre it was supposed to be... I mean on the website to get the place character and object from it had like a warrior, a magician and other things that you could really only right fantasy about... Supposedly in the opening we were supposed to introduce a problem, what the character wants and crap....
I'm not gonna continue on it...

Newest short story is up. I got a B+ on it because my teachers an a** and doesn't understand what the lunar month is, why someone would need to leave the city to see the moon clearly, the concept that wounds HEAL, and that the island would be secluded... >.>

*bows at the applause* Aww, man that sucks. On the other hand, your vampire story does anything but. ^_^ It's really coming along now. I can't help you with the killing off but just a note, it's "autopsy" (I think) it definately starts with "au" anyways. Oh, and as for police... Why not involve a forensic haemotologist who finds traces of vampire venom/blood in the bite wounds? That could be interesting, and spur on a chase to kill of Leone.

Donka! I'm kinda terrible with spelling but I could work out the kinks later... Good idea with the forensics... I'm thinking now that I make Gideon the police inspector and he goes corrupt, takes some of Leone's DNA and makes himself a vampire and I could either have him tether leone to a cross and leave him to fry in the sun or shoot him and leave him to fry in the sun.... Which way shall I go...?

Tether him to a cross and have him beg for mercy, even as the sun rises in the distance, creeping over the horizon and frying him slowly. twisted I'm feeling *creative* in that respect today. Sorry...

A Christ allegory? I don't see why not! Ernest Hemingway did it in a boring old story about a man and a fish so I'm sure you could bring it in to your vampire tale. I read a story like that once, let me go look it up. It's in my ultimate dracula book... called "The Ultimate Dracula" hehe... Anyways, the story is called "Nobody's Perfect"by Philip Jose Farmer and it's a bit... um... dogdy in parts. '///' But the basics are that this vampire called "Rudolph Redeemer" claims to be the saviour of the world and has his own religion and it follows his life up until he's killed by a woman who you thought would love him but it turns out had set out to betray him all along. Talk about laying a religious theme down strong...
I like vampire stories. ^_^ I have 19 in one book so I must have in excess of 24 in total I think.

Hmmm... You coun't seperate books in a series different ones? Because then I have at least like... 14 just from Cirque Du Freake.... OH, and by the way, do you know that Demon Apopcolipse may be the last Demenata book because Darren Shan thinks he can't top that book! I read a thing about it online that pretty much spoiled the book, but I found it pretty interesting... But he wants to try and make more... >.< Anyways, yeah... heres the link if yah wanna... >.< http://darrenshan.com/demons/books/06demonapocalypse.html
