"ok whatever" She staggered and got up with Shizuki's help. She hopped on Shizuki as they rode off to their home farther away into the trees.

"What do you know, you practically save someones life and they just walk away like that?" Ax threw his hands up in the air as he got up. He didn't bother to brush off the dust on himself, he really didn't care at all.

The wound in Luna's chest opened. She cringed and fell to the ground. "Luna!" Shizuki yelped.

Ax disregarded what Luna said, "How did this happen?" he asked, "Was it one of the emperor's men?" he asked a little more flustered than normal.

Ax stared into open space beyond the hills in which they sat. "I was abandoned because I was an unexpected demon. The emperor, being only human, found that this would be an opportunity. He came upon me one day after earning my trust and clamped a chain around my neck practically choking me and dragged me back to his palace. Then he demanded to learn all I know. I said no so he ,guess, gets a whip and whips me every minute I don't tell him. I finally escaped, a nice lady let me out one night and I have lived on nothing ever since."
