When Davey gets back to his feet he spots two kitsu, one he has never seen before and one that had been at the house, he could tell the two had been fighting so without thinking or considering if the other were coming he headed forward to jump into the fight if need be

Upon seeing Davey take off Valis for a moment was going to follow but she remembered the kit she carried so instead she went to the trees at the edge of the clearing and sat keeping guard of the kit while being close enough to help if needed even if she didn't know what to do to help

Hemi, whining softly, gathered up the hurt & otherwise unconscious kit trio & pulled them into the circle of what remained of his healing. They did not need much, but the healer wizard hoped his presence would have its own soothing and healing effect in other matters.

"Yo! 'course he does!" Zell did not seem to have taken any time to adjust to the odd transportation the portkeys permitted, bouncing forward & 'setting up' in his fighter's stance. Seeing the other kits -yeah! they were all back together again! Friend time!- boldly standing against the 'evil kitsu' Cedrella knew her mother would not reprimand her for doing likewise. She grinned, prancing to the front to be seen & brandishing her wand. "Maybe we should see how you are against kits who can fight!" She did not know the whole story of what had happened to the other kits as Jessica had not known it, but she could guess from what she had heard.

Hiding her fatigue, Rune padded towards Squall -and beyond him, Zell. True, she had not fought beside them but the White SeeD knew their fighting styles and easily would be able to blend with them more than perhaps the others. Still she kept far enough distant from them not to make a break in 'ranks' per say. "For the egg of kin and friend... we would gather armies. You face search parties, but don't underestimate." As usual her soft clear voice carrying like a gentle breeze, but now there was a hardness to it not brought by her quick flight & passenger but the readiness of a soldier prepared to battle though her stance appeared casual.

The twilight Bobtail took a protective stance in front of the slightly larger dawn Luck kit, which in itself was humorous indeed but for the dark and angry look in her magenta eyes. Near them the red-headed which tossed her fiery mane & leveled angry brown eyes and wand upon the enemy. "I'd say you'd better listen to the kits." Ginny's lips curled in an angry snarl. Behind them Trel-kit and the others who had been with Liliana & Edward stood their ground, watching the armored & unknown kitsu.

Tamahome collapsed out of exhaustion. He was breathing hard and having a hard time getting back up. It was as if this kitsu was strong then he looked. Tamahome wanted to keep fighting. He wasn't going to get up his egg so easily. Tamahome got back up. "Let me handle this," said Tamahome. But before Tamahome could even make a move he was out for the count.

Chase Young smirked. "So even a pathic warrior like him has some will to fight left. Honorable." He then jumped back onto a large rock. "So which one of you are next. Magic users? The sea creatures, kits?" said Chase as his arm became covered in spikes from his shoulder to his shoes.

Chase smirk. "Magic then," he said . "I guess I should use some of my own." Chase then pulled out a mirror like object. "Reversing mirror." This was a magical item that could reflect spells and other abilities back at the users. "Don't under estimate me. I know of magic myself. " Chase laughed a bit. "So shall we continue or shall I keep the egg and make her my heir."

Rune shook her head. So he wanted to fight? And with a mirror that had the effect of Reflect? Well two could play at that game. The White SeeD selected her party and started casting Reflect on as many of them as she could. Ginny was already shifting her spell to draw the unconscious father their way & out of danger until he revived. Brown eyes flicking to her daughter the witch softly mouthed 'get the egg' while her eyes alone quickly indicated Cedrella's wand.

"C'mon, Squall! Let's get psyched!!" With that Zel sprung forward, keeping an eye on Sigurd so that his attack did not interfere with the kit's. Yun glanced at the bobtail. Fight? But how could she fight and guard her ball at the same time? The bobtail gave her a good 'out'. "We shall hold this line of defense." But her fur bristled, her body indicating a display of preparing to fight. The Luck kit imitated it. No reason to let this enemy kitsu think they were not about to attack.

Swish & Flick. Ginny's eldest daughter focused on the egg, intending to float the unguarded egg that had been placed out of the way back to safety. It was barely a quarter inch from the ground... Cedrella did not want to scramble her future playmate. Hemi meanwhile worked quickly to undo the reversed spell from Valis, his ears flat to his head in his intense concentration. Normally it would not be so difficult... but he had used much energy in healing and was a little light-headed from the effort. Meanwhile Chroma & Doron with Trel-kit flying above them charged from a third direction, furthest from Zell.

The kitsu blinked. Cedrella nearly dropped the egg. Zell found himself about to punch empty air, then turned towards the direction the armored kitsu had gone with a confused look on his tattooed face as he wondered whether or not to chase him.

"That's it?" The kit's voice pierced the air, incredulous. Near the spot where their 'enemy' had departed Zell snorted then coming to a decision moved so he was between the woods where Chase had disappeared and the egg they had gone out to protect.

Rune settled her wings. "It appears so." Looking quite surprised herself but also relieved the White SeeD spoke next to those gathered. "Our thanks to everyone for your help. Without you, we would not have succeeded."
