Touch My Seizure Yea, I agree. The rules do say not to reveal your identity unless you reeeallly have to. And it does make the game more exciting 8D Because, if everyone just says who they are (excluding the Mafia, because they would want to keep it a secret) then it would be obvious who the Mafia is, and the game would be over really quickly. And it would be B-O-R-I-N-G. According to what Ceribri said, approximately 25% of the town are Mafia, which means either 2 or 3 of us. At this point, only two people haven't declared who they are. If there are actually 3 Mafia, that means at least one of them has already decided to give a fake name. So having everyone reveal their identity didn't automatically tell us who the Mafia are, although it does make me very suspicious of you, since you still haven't named yourself. SamuraiButterfly gets a bit of a pass, since she only just joined us, but if she doesn't give us a name soon, I'll be suspicious of her as well. It could be one of the undeclared, or the person playing the Doctor could have given a fake name to protect him/herself from becoming a target of the Mafia. Or there just is no Doctor in this game.

Why is Stresshog, as the Brigadier, the only character who hasn't appeared in New Who? Maybe he's actually Mafia, and so he's lying, and thought that the Brig was a safe choice since no one would show him up by turning out to be him? And someone has to be lying; there's only two people yet to declare, I doubt Samurai is Mafia since she hasn't been here, and we have no Doctor.
Sorry to keep accusing you, Stresshog. Nothing personal. Really... I hope when this game is over, we can all still be friends!

I don't like that everyone revealed their names at the drop of a pin around page four or so...
Actually, the people under suspicion should be the ones who "revealed" first, because if they were lying, nobody would have a chance to lay claim to it first. Then, everyone trusts the one who said it first.
For instance, If someone came foreward NOW as...say...K-9, No one would believe them because someone already said they were.
can you revoke lynches? If so...

I was in a really bad mood yesterday, and AP was targeting me. I, being the grumpy-puss that I am, decided to start a lynch.
This does bring up a good question though...who SHOULD we lynch? It can't stay DAY forever, you know....

For the time being, I'll remove my vote against you also, though I'm not totally sure I trust you (or anyone else) just yet. fourtysecondscarf: 0 [5 to lynch] I don't agree with your logic, though. I doubt the Mafia would be the first to reveal, because if they did choose a name that someone else had, then the actual person can come out and say 'no, he/she's lying, because I'm really '. The town would then have to sort out who was lying, and the second person might look more guilty, but even if that person was wrongly lynched, he/she'd still have helped the whole town tremendously because we'd then know the other person was Mafia. And remember: this is a team game, so you don't have to survive in order to win.
I also think Lullabee has a point... it's rather unusual that Stresshog is the only person to declare a character that hasn't appeared in New Who. He was also one of the first to reveal himself, so he might not have known that everyone else was someone from the new series. We can't be positive that Ceribri didn't throw in someone from the Classic series just to make things more interesting, but it sure seems fishy...
Lets name who we think are most likely and least likely to be Mafia so that we can finally start lynching someone.

I think Mr. Hairy Priest is most likely to be in the Mafia. He seems soo determined to get us all to reveal our identities. I think he's trying to work out who the cop and doc are from our characters.
So I vote to lynch him, but I still don't understand how to cast my vote. So I feel like a complete doofus. x_x

wow, someone tried to lynch me I feel somewhat honored O_o
and fourtysecondscarf, I was pushing the clue being about you because I thought it was about you, ergo important, sorry to step on your toes but if theres a clue about you its important to find out what that clue means in regards to you. Its not a personal offence, its the freaking game and trying to kill someone off cause your bad at them doesn't work... unless your in the mafia, then its some kind of weird strategic thing according to the rules which seems odd to me, killing someone on your side when the point of the game is to survive, but, meh.
since no one listed is the doctor and there are two people left unidentified, the unidentified people are either one doctor and one mafia and the rest of the mafia has lied about their character or there is no doctor and the remaining are mafia. Or a combination of either of those O_O
also, for the record, I'm a girl, someone or other was refering to me as 'he', I'm too lazy to remember who.

SamuraiButterfly: ??? You have Fourty and I mixed up. Seizure, I'm right there with you on the character I got. Hopefully, like Micky, Donna will get the chance to smarten up. I'm seeing where you all are going in terms of Brigadier. K-9 was in the classic series, however he did turn up in the new ones. And even if Samurai did come in late, we still have another mafia to fill in the roll of making a kill. So she can't be out of this either. I'm thinking right now on what other characters one could chose from from the new series. Edit: I knew the books, I just didn't know what the abbreviated word for them is. I have one thing to say about book five. And it was exactly what came out of my mouth when I finished reading. "Well, that sucks."

Right now I think hairy is more a help than a harm and is been said that the cop and the doc can't be determined by characters so there is no harm in revealing identities. I'm most suspicious at the moment, of Touch My Seizure and Stresshog. T M S because they won't tell their identity and has started a lynch and Stresshog because he's the only char from the old series and he hasn't said much in his defense to that only tried to hint at the possibility of his being the cop, which could be, if he is mafia, why he chose a coplike character.

We really need to get a lynch sooner or later...
Does this usually happen? People can't decide to save their lives? I can't even decide. I almost want to start a lynch for Stresshog, but... I don't know. Does anyone even agree with me here? I'm convinced he's Mafia, but... you never can really know.

I agree with you about Stresshog, Lullabee...
Which is almost sad for me. He wasn't in the new series, which immediately makes me suspicious, but I always loved the Brig. How irrelevant.

Since everyone's closing in to lynch me, I'm going to throw it out there. Touch My Seizure is either Cop or Mafia. And here is why:
TMS's original account, Cow Demon, was permabanned. And there was a really long wait for the dusk scene to be posted(revealing Roobarb's death). So I can only assume that this wait was caused by someone taking their time to send in their night actions. TMS would have been delayed by her permabanning. Therefore she is likely to have been the reason why the dusk scene took time to be posted. I didn't want to post this incase she was a cop, but I guess I have no choice now.
As for my name being the only one not from the new series, that's not really my choice... *cough-CERIBRI-cough*
(I'm tired. Might edit this in the morning to increase coherence.)
