Strawberries. Red. Green. Sweet. Smiling, Relm picked up one of the plump fruits and pulled back the green leaves to hold between her fingers. Scooting a little closer to Keme she smiled and held the fruit up against his lips.
Espers... she wasn't trembling... was she?

Keme leaned forward and slipped the plump fruit into his mouth and he clamped his teeth around it and pulled back gently to snap it off the green stems, leaning back and chewing happily.

Green eyes slowly widened as Relm watched him lean forward, her tongue snaking out to lightly wet her lips. The artist was enraptured -a captive to their actions and her feelings for the hummingbird male. Her lips made a little 'o' feeling the tug then release as Keme pit the fruit away. Automatically she set the green stems upon the side of the plate and reached for another, her eyes never leaving Keme as if entranced. Which Relm was. Even after last night -and this morning- everything was so fresh and new and... Espers! Was this what Blondie had been sporadically babbling about way back then? The exotic arousal of feeding someone cared so much for? Tingles swept her unclothed body, her green eyes slowly taking in the sight of Keme leaning back and chewing -like a drawn out blink. With bated breath and a soft smile Relm waited for him to finish his chew and swallow as she fixed the next strawberry in her hands, leaning over him as his mouth emptied to offer the berry to his lips.

Keme watched her actions and his heart sped up in his chest. Even though they had been together for a while, this was all still so new and fresh in his mind. He swallowed the chewed up fruit and he leaned over to take the second offered fruit into his mouth, slowly pulling back to snap it from the green stem, watching her.

She could not see Keme's heart speed up... but Relm knew hers was. Really! They had already... she could not possibly... he could not possibly.......... could he? A slow flushed heat warmed her cheeks as she repeated the steps: put stem & leaves down, pick up next strawberry, position the leaves in her fingers, wait... offer.
Ever to lightly, Relm caught the inside of her lip between her teeth.

His thoughts were probably going along the same lines as hers as he ate the fruit and watched as she got another to offer him. He reached over and took it out of her hands and turned it around, holding it by the green stem and offering it to her this time.

"Oh!" Relm blinked in soft surprise, mouth keeping the shape of the vowel she uttered. Green eyes blinked a couple of times before she smiled, cheeks only increasing their blush. A slight twinkle, and she accepted the bite. Her tail flicking lightly on their legs.

Keme chuckled lightly at her, putting the stem down and grabbing another strawberry, silently offering to her again, his own tail wagging about on the bed.

So this was how it was going to be, was it? Eyes twinkling Relm leaned for her bite, one hand lightly resting on his thigh, the other reaching behind her for another strawberry. Fingers fumbling to hold it right so that as she pulled back with her bite she was offering Keme one as well with a teasing sort of smile.

He was pretty sure his face was now completely red a blush as he leaned over and took the offered fruit and ate it. He leaned back and tried to calm his raging emotions, taking a breath.

oh espers... Relm could see how this situation could progress... and truthfully was more than willing for it to do so. Encouraging even. But... they needed more food in them, and definitely more liquids. Setting the latest stem with the others Relm reached for one of the canteens and put it in her lap. Yes... she could remove her other hand from where it rested and use both hands, but that happened into the category of 'things Relm would rather not do' right now. The artist's fingers in fact curled slightly into the fur of Keme's thigh as her other hand unscrewed the canteen lid, letting it dangle from its cord as she lifted the mouth to Keme's so he could have a drink.

Keme looked at the canteen and took a drink, happily gulping the water down, a little surprised at how thirsty he really felt and how much he did need the water. He pulled back and took the canteen from her and held it to her lips, a soft smile on his face.

Her own soft smile mirrored her love's as if lit by it. Breathing carefully Relm leaned in a little for a drink, slightly moistening her lips first. Eyes lidded partially as she drank, careful not to drink too fast while still getting her fill. She was thirsty too. Very thirsty. Green eyes fluttered open slowly and looked up at Keme. She could so very easily... fingers curled again on his thigh before relaxing again. No. They really must finish eating first. At least ... at least they could enjoy the meal. "Something else now?" Se murmured softly.

"How about some more strawberries?" he said, letting himself relax, still quite hungry and thirsty, wondering when he and Relm should start getting ready to leave, or even if she wanted to leave.

Relm giggled, and with a nod reached for another berry. Just a silly thought, not even suitable though amusing. Her green & red were oddly faded, so there was no correlation to Keme liking strawberries. See, just a silly thought in her head.
With a feline little stretch Relm dangled the fruit before him then lay down. Her elbow of the hand holding the fruit half holding her up, the other hand still on his thigh. No words, but her mischievous smile invited Keme to lay down beside her. It would possibly be a little more difficult to feed him this way... but Relm did not mind.
