"To be honest - yes, I think that. I mean, now you nearly know her a longer time sleeping than being awake." Yoma smiled. "Ok... It is possible to fall in love with someone that fast, but I think it's not the right way. You should perhaps spend a bit more time with her. Talk to her, fight with her against your enemies and so on. And if you both then fall in love, I can understand it. And yes, I know, she can't really talk and fight and so on right now..." Yoma smiled for a second time. "But if I felt like you do, I would wait until she wakes up."

"You fear, that it will happen again? You fear, she could be killed like your wife? But... I'm sure, this cave is very safe. Only good creatures who will not harm anyone can come here, so nobody has to defend Lilly, not even you." Yoma stared at Shadow, waited a few seconds, and then continued speaking. "Now I know, you love her. And so, it will be difficult for you, to leave her, but we should do so and try to find something to eat. We can't live without eating and drinking." Yoma looked at Lilly. "She can, while she regenerates... And there's nothing we can do for her now. So please help me getting a meal for us."

After getting out of the cave, the two friends walked together through the forest. It was dusk, but their eyes who had seen enough in the cave were also good enough to see now every detail of the surrounding. As they reached a river, Yoma stopped and filled a small bottle of leather with the fresh water. "What do you think", he asked, "would it be better to split up or would it be better to stay together? I mean, if we try to catch some animals, it would be more effective to catch it alone, but I don't know, if there are any enemies of us in the forest around us - and if there are it might be too dangerous to split up..."

"We have something to eat, we have something to drink... I would say, that might be all we need. But perhaps, we could also need a bed for Lilly. The earth in the cave is very hard and perhaps it would be better to take some leaves with us. We could use them to build the bed." Yoma took a hand full of leaves. "And", he said, "we perhaps need something to take the leaves with us..."

Yoma took off his shirt and used it as a kind of bag, then put a lot of leaves in it and returned to the cave. "Do you come?" He cried to Shadow, who stood near the river. Then he went into the cave and built a bed for Lilly. It was neither as beautiful as a real bed, nor as comfortable as a real one, but it was better than the stones around the two. "That's for you", he said smiling at her, knowing that she couldn't hear him. Yoma carried her onto the selfmade bed and then fell on the ground next to her, waiting for Shadow to come.

Shadow awoke and looked at Lilly. "Lilly you are awake." He said as he transformed and took her hands in his. "Are you okay, how do you feel?" He asked as he leaned in close and kissed her forehead. "You don't have a fever, but I'm not even sure vampires can get those."

"Oh Lilly you're back again. Perhaps you should eat something bloody to recover your strength." He gave her some of the deers meat. And Although it wasn't human's blood she looked a bit better, after eating a bit. "You're right", she said. "Sometimes vampires need human food, too. Althopught humans wouldn't eat bloody meat." She smiled weakly. "I feel terible. Could you perhaps tell me what happened lately. There's a big hole in my head. I can't remember anything from the pint, when a human arived and a big dragon or so..."
Yoma started to tell her everything and she got a bit tired from listening. So lilly felt sleep again. But this time her sleep only lasted a few hours.
