she stopped and looked left and right. she wanted to protest but she knew that if she did she wouldn't get the sword. she rubbed the back of her head and smiled. "uh.. yea of course! i'm always nice."

She grinned at this and knew that it probably wouldn't last long, but she could use this as a trump card if Raine got out of hand. "Speaking of Cyan, what should we get him?"

she looked around and wasn't sure what he would want. "i dunno. he's always eyeing my swords but i'm not sure what he'd like."

She smiled at her daughter and stayed where she was. "I think you should pick out something for him. It might make him like you more if you pick out something he'd really like. Just remember, he's not as strong as you or Garreth. It would have to be something just for him."

she looked around and seen a bunch of daggers. she looked up and down and seen one with a different looking design and imagined that one would look best on him. it was a curved blade with a design on th hilt. "i think he might like this."

Mari looked it over and thought about it. She knew that Cyan didn't like swords as much as his father and sister. He would look at them, but he was like his mother in the sense that she liked heavy and blunt weapons. She seen a hammer that would be the right size for him and pointed at the wall to it. "You think Cyan would like that?"

she looked up at it and eyed it carefully. it also looked like it could fit him as well. in fact it seemed like it would fit him better. she nodded. "yea. he'd like that."

The old man took the hammer from the wall and wrapped it up so they could take it home. He gave Raine the sheath to the sword so she could carry it home with ease and Mari grabbed the wrapped up hammer. She paid the man and they left the store. Mari had looked up at the sky and seen that it was getting later. "Hmm... I think we missed the movie, dear."

she sheathed the sword and held onto it as they left. she looked around and didn't realize that it was getting late. "aww. that sucks."

Mari looked around and seen a resturaunt that she remembered her dad used to take her to when she was little. She didn't know what it looked like at Raine's age, but she found out when she got her eyes fixed. "How about we get some dinner? This place has some good food. Not that crap you find in the city."

Mari led her to a small resturaunt in the town and they walked in. Once in there, they were seated and handed menus. Mari had ordered a water and as she waited for Raine to order what she wante to drink, she looked in the menu to see what they had.

Mari found what she wanted and the waitress came back with their drinks, placing them on the table infront of them. Mari spoke up. "I'm going to have the chicken noodle soup and a small salad."
