PhaedraMcSpiffy It's easy to want to force responsibility on someone knowing that nobody can ever force that same responsibility on you. Most lesbians can still get pregnant. Ergo, it's still possible to be forced to keep a pregnancy. I've always wondered how pro-life queers can handle being on a side filled mostly with people who think they're disgusting, sex-crazed, STD-infested deviants. I guess that's why they're so few and far in between. And they know what it's like to have people try to control their personal lives.

PhaedraMcSpiffy There is a site, I think it's called "ReligiousTolerance.org" or something, that publishes their mail, both good and bad. Some of the hatemail would be hilarious if it wasn't so damn scary and sad. I just read some of it and I seriously think those people are idiots. Most of them you can tell are religious and they give religion a bad name. People like that seriously need to get some help. Thank you, by the way, for the link.

Their hypocrisy? I have no quotes, but I have common beliefs that I'm sure many of them support, but they go against why they're pro-life.
Well, for one, how many of them do you think are against male masturbation?
Would that not, in itself, make it them a hypocritical, because if that guy had ******** a girl instead of himself, he would have created the chance for a life, and instead he throws away the chance for hundreds of children to be born. Tisk, tisk on him. Every sperm is sacred, why don't they know this by now?
Which brings me to my next point, birth control.
If the truly thought that every chance for a child to come into this world, then how can birth control be good in their minds? Sex, to them, is for nothing more than making a child, making a child, making a child, and that the product of sex is sacred. Because birth control makes no child [when it actually works], then why are they not against it? Why don't I hear about people protesting birth control?
Also, on abortionno.org, they have a wonderfully graphic video of what they claim to be an abortion. Now, is it just me, or does heart surgery look just as horrible; hell, any surgery in general? What, are we against common medical practices now, too? O.o;;

I don't know. They closed that before I even saw it. And besides, I'm banned from the PLG. *laughs* Anyway, a choicer told a story of having been denied and IUD by three doctors because they said she was too young. Pro-lifers make me sick. Unfourtunatly my friend who is Baptist/Chrisitan...is a pro-lifer. *sighs*
I remember in my gov't class this year when we were doing Mock Congress one of the bills that were presented was an abortion bill(in favor of abortion) and one of the girls on the right side of the room said that abortion is wrong because the fetus could be the next Albert Einstein. All they have is a one track mind. The fetus for all we knew could turn out to be the next gangbanger, the next crack head, the next John Wayne Gacy, the next Al Capone, hell even the next Hitler.
As for the adoption thing, my best friend (the pro-lifer) is adopted and so is my bf. And one thing I know is that those who are adopted are treated differently than those who have biological parents. Sometimes the adopted kids are treated horribly and are neglected by their adoptive parents. Therefore making them feel like s**t and wishing that they were dead. So really does adoption really honestly truly help the problem? No, it will never help the problem ever.

Often the racist nature of the adoption system is brought up as a legitimate response to "well put it up for adoption" implying that because the adoption system is racist abortion should remain legal. It doesn't matter if the adoption system is perfect, or the epitome of hell. It doesn't matter if you are the last reproducing woman on earth and every couple in the world wants your baby, or if the adoption system is 100,000,000 babies full. Either a fetus has a right to life or it doesn't, and a woman has a right to her body that permits abortion or she doesn't. Adoption and the many issues surrounding adoption, have nothing to do with those two rights.

I'm just making the point that - it doesn't matter if a woman could just put it up for adoption - if there were no adoption system a fetus would still have a right to life in their eyes that require pregnancy be carried through. If there were no adoption system, a perfect adoption system, or something in between, women would still have the right to abort based on bodily autonomy. The adoption system itself really has nothing to do with the bigger issues in abortion u.u;;
