[I'm still laughing at the Hulk posts...]
Hm. As dead as these guys seemed, they sure did know what was up. While you tried to pass through, the two wannabes in line reached out for Azreal's wrist, grabbing firmly and grumbling something that resembled...
"Waaaaiiittt...."
Though the receptionist was pretty much unaffected by their actions, she did seem to pay attention a little bit more.

Azreal shivered as their sunken skin touched his own... their cold, nearly dead hands tightening around his. The entire sensation brought back unpleasant memories. Damn that Ellisent.
He wrenched his hand free of the dead man. "Wait? Why? do you want to tell me something?" he tried distracting the zombie's feeble mind with questions, all the while inching towards that Member's Only door: inside, in his mind, was salvation.

With great effort, the blank-faced, jaundiced man in front whimpered something through chalky lips. It sounded like...
"You...mu-muuuuusst wait your...tuuhhhrnn..."
Really? These two polo-sporting lads had been brainwashed into complete oblivion, roaming the town without desires or ambition, and all they could think about was their place in line!?
Meanwhile, the receptionist stood, raising a quivering, yellowed finger towards the back of the line, as well...

Azreal also laughed at the sheer idiocy of the stumbling humans. He truly didn't think this town could get any more retarded, but he supposed that zombie gas still managed to beat generations of inbreeding.
Deciding to try to outwit the sallow beasts, Azreal started to talk. "Yes, but see, I'm already a member, I've just been out for a few years. In fact- OH DEAR LORD, LOOK OVER THERE!" he said, giving a cry and pointing behind the zombies. With that, he made a wild dash for the Members door.

It was a nice try, but the creatures didn't even comprehend his large, flailing motions and loud, hasty shouts. Instead, the two monsters in line decided to try and take a few bites out of their competition.

Azreal didn't bother to slow down just because they hadn't fallen for his trick. After all, they were zombies. All he really had to do was walk briskly if he wanted to get away. Outright sprinting worked too, though.

((How would that have ********. THIS. DOOR. Azreal sure as hell wouldn't be stopped by some goddamn card slot. He was getting into that goddamn room, like it or not!
Focusing on using anger instead of outright rage, Azreal tried to dull down his normal fire spell to save some MP. He placed his hand on the hinges of the door, attempting to destroy them.

[How would what have worked?]
Azreal REALIZES Fire 1...
And melts the door's hinges!
(-11 MP)
The door fell to the ground with a thud, yet this was not over yet. What lie ahead seemed to be an endless indoor maze of rooms and sterile armories, dining halls and general security nonsense. It seemed all too much like Subania. Everything did these days.
The angered ones practically nipping at your heels, there were two choices: Right and Left. Each led down a different hall with its own doors, traps, and guild members. Perhaps stealth MIGHT have helped in the situation, but the blaring alarm currently alerting every sniper in the building didn't seem to be the real problem.
The real problem was: Which weapon was he going to grab?
Inside the Sniping Spot: Bonus Gameplay
This area is a maze-style lair, very similar to the in-the-dark layout of Subania. You'll be running blind here, but thankfully there's only one floor to go by. There will be several guild members here.
-At each turn, roll 2 D-6s. The first will be your SNEAK roll, to see if ayone around notices you. - If your roll is above 3, no need to worry. If not, check the next die. That number is how many zombies are "chasing" you. -Once chased, you may FIGHT or RUN. Fighting will reduce the number of zombies chasing you, and running will simply allow you to keep going. -Try to keep your "chase" count low. After you reach 20, you will be FORCED to fight them ALL AT ONCE. So beware. -Posting will go as follows: Roll twice, select a room to enter. Simple as that. I will describe everything else. There is NO save slot, so be careful. -Your FIRST post, choosing a direction, will not require rolling. -Try to do as much as you can. The more you accomplish, well...you'll see.

Being left handed, Azreal tore down the path that appealed most to him (left). Somehow, thanks to his training as a Dark hunter, he was able to move nearly silently, even with his running. He turned into a nearby room.

There was a corner. Though the few snipers who seemed to lounge around the small hallway were most likely preoccupied, one could never be sure. Caution was advised.
At the first corner, where the path suddenly dodged off on a right angle to the right, there were two doors - one on each side of the bend. Now, these doors were both on his LEFT side...there were no doors on the rightmost wall...for now.
[Sorry if it's a bit confusing.]

Azreal crept along the wall, holding up the Dark robes he still carried in his pack like a veil. Perhaps if they didn't actually see a live person moving, they wouldn't care to follow them. There was a chance.
The Lonarian, reaching behind him, opted to open the second door; the less expected, the better, in his opinion. Who knows what could have been waiting for him behind door number 1?
