Storm slapped him for real this time, using just he very tips of her long finger anils, making nary a sound. Her nails left four long red streaks across his face.

Ranu blinked, touching his gingers to the cheaks and pulling them away, eying the blood with a blank look, "Thats an offencive comment? I did wonder what they meant when they said men riding. I presumed horses. Ho hum." The teenager gave a grin and shrugged.

Ranu glanced over at the unknown person with a smile on his face, "I'm not the only ill informed one then, at least," he said, then held out a hand towards her. "Names Ranu. Ranu Blackheart."

Ranu's hand dropped at the second slap. He swung a swift back hander at her. "And I saids no beatin'" he said, with a rather good impersination of her accent.

Storm's blood and silver eyes glimmered with unshed tears while a large red welt reddened on her cheek. She would not cry in this company. When she spoke, her voice was tight with anger.
"I would have thought your ma would have learned you better then to ever hit a woman, Blackheart."

At the sight of the welt mark on her cheak. His hands droped to his sides, as his face twisted with shock, "Storm I..." He fell silent, unable to speak.

Storm laughed, ruining her game. Her noraml accent had returned. She rubbed away the watering in her eyes like it was nothing more then a spot of sweat.
"You pansy, afraid to hit a woman."
She only laughed harder at this thought.

"Some of us," Ranu said with underlying fury in his voice, "Were raised to view such violence as wrong." It was starting to seem that every time he spoke to this woman, she found a way to mock him.

She turned to Ranu.
"Honestly, boy, must you take everything so hard? Kibo is right; I have every reason to end your game and yet you still stand here. Be thankful and try and guess why that is."
