*He slides down next to her with his own glass and slips an arm over her shoulder.*
So I'm off gallivanting for treasure, as I usually do when I'm bored. But then the purple ring came for me. It said, " Rex Mason of sector 2814, you have proven to show great love." Placed itself on my hand and teleported me.
Now, I've been teleported, and this THIS sucked a**. Every element in my body being ripped asunder in a split second.
*He takes a drink and throws a bit of his hand onto the table. It shifts and morphs into a small replica of the paradise he was in*
This planet was beautiful, like seriously beautiful. There were these weird alien chicks that Hal told me about before... apparently they were guardians and something happened... i don't know. They took me and placed me with a select other group. They are kinda building an army or something ... the odd thing is it was mostly women, and I mean ... SMOKING women! But you know none of them really could compare to a certain someone wink

Chris Powell he hates me for having the Power Gem but Warren is interesting. rolleyes If I were him I would be a lot more worried about me screwing up time lines and whatnot. Of course I would never do that...on purpose anyway.

*Stands on the table to be a little more eccentric with his tale*
Alright so this is also where I learned of the other rings. Seven in all and soon there shall be a war between them. There were those that chose to act as they could, so they were given their ring right off the bat.
*Looks over at Pam with a grin*
I'm betting you got lucky. I refused at first, see going to war with four friends of mine... yeah that doesn't sound cool. So I got processed to be a bit more ... compliant to their will and goal

I feel as if i would be lost if i started)) ((I'm going off what happened to those that refused the Yellow Rings on Fear. They were processed and brainwashed to obey. The ... always forget their names... and their star sapphires take over the host and control them, thus I'm pretty sure this is how they'll work if not the ring take complete control of the person. But makes for fun reading!!)) So they took me to a cell, and boy was it one hell of a cell! Everything I tried to do, everything and I couldn't escape. Lord those days sucked. Basically the whole brainwashing thing they do here but with pain that made me turn to almost nothing after their "treatments." Seriously ... I was scarred for a long time ... every day reduced to near nothing so I could be a part of some army, crazy s**t.
*He sits back down and takes a long drink*
Then ... one day I blacked out, completely. Next I know Shift and I are one and for some reason the bistro is destroyed beyond all reasoning .... Just crazy s**t...

Indeed it does, and their words were worse ... "The Black Rings will rain ... and those that are gone shall rise ... to end all that lives..."
*Shudders a bit at the thought of the whole thing*
Heh, well now I can do my part to stop it on two fronts. As an Earth Superhero and Violet Lantern... well that is if this thing really is for me...
