Meta_Fish They could slap a hat on Lucas and say it's an alternate costume. I think alternate costumes would be an awesome thing to find and unlock. Jesus, in Melee, you just unlocked trophies, stages and new characters. o_o
Lucas and Ness are in the same style. Other than that, they look nothing alike to me.
Plus the personality issue. Lucas is a bit of a wuss. Ness lacks one. xd
But I'm am so wanting this game right now...

I don't think they would either. Alternate costumes are just too good to pass up.
And an alternate costume for Wario only would be a kick in the balls for everyone who liked the clones from the last game. .
Seriously, and aren't their people who have comprised full lists of different outfits just to prove it can be done? I mean if Nintendo actually looks into that, as many people have mentioned before they know what people want.
Yeah it would, but I dunno I dont think the clones will return like that, no matter how much I want them to.
@Fish - Unlocking them would be pretty sweet.

Yesssssss! I love this so much I could cry. I got my old Wario back. I wasn't really mad that Wario was in his biker outfit, but I know a lot of people were disapointed. Now every Wario fan can be happy! Wario Ware and Land combine to become one creature of pure awesome. Wario!

Yeah, and it really wouldn't be that hard. Tweak the model a bit.
Well, then we'll have the obligatory "Shadow" skin for Sonic.
I dunno, I think it would be a great fan service. Kinda like and Assist Trophy Plus.

Damn.
I'm sorry but that was a weak update.
I mean if that applied to every character I would be having a joyful spaz attack right now, but Sakurai stated that Wario is the only one.
And personally to tell you the truth I like Wario Ware, Wario costume much better.
I mean it gives him a little more depth than just being some Bizaro version of Mario. It gives him his own "style" if you will.

Not to mention the capturing of the princesses.
Kinda fishy.
