*As the elevator lowered several floors, Trilla was already latched to Micha's left arm. The whisps that may have been in the elevator with them, were for the moment unnoticed perhaps. Cole was in a room on level fourty-nine, and the elevator was on its way to level sixty-seven. That put Cole, the intruder at only eighteen floors distance from two of the children. Micha would be jostled a bit as Trilla tugged as his arm in a playful manor. She seemed to be happy now that she was out and away from Tyrsais*
Trilla: 4laugh heart

It was most likely boredom that drove the metaphysical creature to harass the Citadel in a much more agressive nature. It knew the target, had felt the intimate inner workings of the boy's dream. The voice couldn't pinpoint Eecheb's location, but the wave of telepathic energy that crashed through the barrier towards those who remained ignorant to it would surely reach him in due time.
It was meant for the boy, an invasion of the most private place possible, one's own mind. Of course there were many advanced defenses in the citadel, the least of which surely monitored telepathic signals, but the voice saw fit to try anyhow. After all, Eecheb could try and resist, but not many children had the strength to. Not many barriers were that reinforced, and any backtracking attempts would merely find themselves traversing wisps of thought outside the barrier. Whispers on the wind, as it were.
Still, despite the obvious intent to harass the boy, the vision that voice tried to force upon his mind was a simple one. The voice tried to force upon his senses the false impulses of KB, visual and auditory. There was little need for Eecheb to smell or feel the image that would try to be conjured before him, forcing his mind to act as a projector of sorts. The plan was to sort of give the boy the wrong impression, get his mind to play tricks upon itself and see ghosts.
Success would be fun, failure would be a learning experience.

"I can explain all of those answers to you later, if you wish, but for the moment all that matters is stopping it." It was a clear cut response; Nana's questions could wait for the moment.
"Iie! There's nothing to worry about." After having given his siblings a passing wave, Nana would hear Than's voice come from behind her and directed at the parties in the Mind.
"Ah,Thanatos," Mastema acknowledged, "Welcome back. You have encountered this creature before and know more of it than I. What do you think of this situation?"
Thanatos had by now reached the door way, still standing aside so Nana could see: "There isn't a thing to worry about. It's just curious; it's not a bit dangerous. Even when it's attacked it seems to prefer retreat to fighting. Let it go about its business and it wouldn't hurt a fly. Albeit, it is a little careless sometimes."
"I see. So what would you suggest doing at this time?"
"Just let it be. If you all leave the room it might lose interest and go about its business."
Thanatos's suggestion was basically to go about their businesses. Thanatos probably brought up the suggestion because there were more urgent things he had on his mind as well. There was so much he had to do. "Also, Otosan, I need to talk with you as quickly as I can."
"Very well, Thanatos. I need just a few moments I think. If we can ignore this creature, then we can spare a little more time. Nana, since you have just returned, is there anything you would like to bring up as an issue at this conference before we adjourn?" At least Mastema was offering Nana a chance to speak up before he just let everyone leave.

Cole grins over something, a blurb, a passage from a book he had read, whatever it was it was one of his few truly good memories. He contemplates it for a few moment, then stores it away again for future reference. Surely there were more of those to be had in this strange world.
As if on cue (Which they were, in a sense) Cole's motes twinkle a bit more brightly and radiate an aura of good feelings.

While Thanatos anxiously awaited his turn to speak with his father about what had happened outside, he felt an odd sensation tingle through him. His sensitivity to telepathy had been steadily growing, but was never focused. Thus, when KB attempted to reach Eecheb, Thanatos felt an unidentifiable vibe which he couldn't make heads or tails of.
Mastema, however, was not so unrefined. The moment KB made his telepathic attempt at Eecheb, Mastema felt, identified, and interrupted it. In trying to reach Eecheb's dreams, KB would find himself 'trapped,' so to speak, by Mastema's own gripping defense of Eecheb's mind. Instead of being in Eecheb's mind, KB would find himself in a telepathic conversation with the man he seemed to so despise. "That was a nice conversation you had with my new compatriot, I hope," Mastema's voice began, "Now how about you stop running circles around my fortress and chat with me. I am certain we have much more to discuss than you do with my child."

I am certain we have much more to discuss than you do with my child." Amused that Mastema might extend his thoughts so far out of the way, the voice felt nearly honored. Of course, with so many holes of loyalty in his ranks Mastema couldn't really afford to be letting his pawns rot and fester. The servant is useless. As for the child, he amuses me, you know how much I like that. In any case Mastema, I think there is little for us to deal with. Though my intentions might be to riddle your home with messages in bottles and to converse with those who might listen, you're a bit too short-sighted for my tastes. Albeit I must admit my satisfation that you might make an effort to watch things more closely now. That first slip-up was quite irresponsible of you. The voice playfully chastised, hardly concerned to have been 'caught'. With the messages being mostly just one-way as they'd always been, Mastema had little to work with. The voice hadn't been so foolish as to move it's entire congregation of thoughts into the barrier, though it had the option to do so at any time.

*Yes, there was that incident with the broken window. In fact the creature didn't even know there was glass blocking its way, at the time. So sterile and clean, the glass of the window was more or less invisible. Thanatos was likely right about the creature just leaving once it lost interest, but it wasn't even aware there were people in the room right below it. So saying once they left, that it would aswell... wasn't necessarily a truth. Being addressed, Nana would reply after a moment's thought*
>.>
Yes... There was at least one thing I had wanted to bring up.
*Back two floors down, Eecheb was still flipping about under his bed sheets. He wasn't asleep, and wasn't looking out from where he was. If KB wanted to mess with him, he would have to add a touch of audio stimulation. Meanwhile back with Trilla and Micha in the elevator, all was well. The doors had just opened and Trilla was already bolting from the contraption towards the cafeteria doors. That left Micha to slowly wander out at his leisure if he pleased. If not, then one of the motes would have to leave the elevator to follow after Trilla*
Micha: . . .

"Well now, with the thoughtless pawn known as Tegral now gone, I believe you have few other options, since my little guardians so disemboweled you in our last encounter. 'Tis a pity you cannot seem to do much but float and sputter trivialities. The range of my sight isn't so readily revealed just because you suffer the boredom of your own lack of substance. Perhaps it is because of the negligent manner in which you cared for your own son and lost him that you now must bother with mine, no? Mastema let out a slight chuckle while he was standing in the conference room, catching Slayer's attention for a moment. "I have no doubt you will have your fun soon enough, so for now perhaps your tiem is better spent giving yourself a body you can use." It was Mastema's passive aggressive way of saying 'get out.'

The two motes readily split up to follow their specific child. Bobbing and weaving through through the air and in and out of the lights.
Cole yawns hugely, he needed some sleep.

"All right then, let's hear it." Sho positively replied to Nana's statement that she had something to say. Though not having met Nana terribly much, he knew she could use a little more encouragement when she had to publically speak to a group. Mastema also nodded in acknowledgement to Nana, who was probably by now next to Thanatos at the door. "If you wish, you can make your point from where you are. We can all hear you quite well." That was Nana's go ahead.
"Domo sumimasen, I'll be back in a moment." Than bowed politely to Nana before skittering back down to the 98th level. He'd briefly seen Eecheb in his room when dashing down the hall, and Thanatos wondered what was wrong with him; the boy had been acting odd at the conference. Within a few moments, Thanatos was inside the room and saw Eecheb tossing about. "E-Eecheb?..... Eecheb?" He wasn't sure whether the boy was asleep or not.

" I have no doubt you will have your fun soon enough, so for now perhaps your tiem is better spent giving yourself a body you can use." It was Mastema's passive aggressive way of saying 'get out.' Well it's about damn time you said something witty. The voice giggled to Mastema, hardly taken slight at the comments. It could admit freely it's tendencies, good and bad. Tegral serves faithfully as ever, and the models have yet to reach a stage of expiration. As it stands a single Tegral unit surpasses anything we've seen on the battlefield, in troop formation. And yet, I'm sure you'll be presenting me with new toys to play with and learn from, as I will you. In the case of a body, I have something chosen, and will form it as soon as the materials are at hand... until then, I had hoped you might overcome your security issues and let me chat with Eecheb. Oh, and do mention my regard to Slayer and Than. The latter particularly, for his little display out here was quite cute. I had half-expected her to spit in his face and tell him to grow some balls, though I suppose those didn't serve much usefulness in his grand design, eh Mastema? The voice giggled once more, obviously just toying with Mastema. If he got the message, he simply wasn't listening.
Still, he made a meager attempt to contact Eecheb, both with sight and sound. A dull thunking sound. There was a high chance of Mastema blocking everything, but KB was bouncing signals around, using the dim-witted beings like Mugiri and the untrained Than as objects with which to reflect his thoughts.

*As a mote drifted past Micha in order to follow Trilla, the small glowing thing would be suddenly snatched without warning. Such a thing would likely surprise Cole, as one of the two motes there was currently captured and imoble. Their "feel good" aura had attracted Micha's attention. What was it, that small glowing thing? It was unlikely that Micha would simply open his hand to let it go. The other mote was free to examine or even play about, trying to free the other if it wished*
Micha: . . . ?
*By now, Trilla was already in the cafeteria, and the elevator doors had shut once again*

W--well... Due to several factors, some which have occured both before I was.... taken... some after.... I had started wondering about those buildings outside. There are those that would be left to ruin while others have been made more structually sound again. With the decomposition of the current barrier protecting us, and the semi-anual attacks on our home... I had started to wonder if there were proper fire supression measures put in place. Some buildings are more valuble than others after all, correct? If there isn't any kind of fire supression, and one would hope the worst never happened but-- If there was ever a fire storm, with buildings everywhere, up in blazes... I'd hope there would be a way to stop it. Magic alone might not be able to stop it, and for those of us who breath air... that would be quickly depleated.
*Ok... so Nana's first concern... Fire safety*
Eecheb: ...uuahh? Wh~at?
*Eecheb wasn't asleep, and his replies were immediate. He didn't sound hurt, or tired. Perhaps slightly destressed, but fine otherwise even if Thanatos couldn't see him. There was a mote in the room aswell which belonged to Cole, but where it was for the moment, only Cole knew. The "thunking" sound might coincidently be thought to be linked to Thanatos' arrival in the room*

"I assure you, it shall be yours and Tegral's greatest regrets for not having used the element of surprise when you had it. You will find your efforts indefinitely harder even with upgrades." Mastema hardly gave a damn about what KB had to say about Thanatos. He and Kaiori understood so little about him after so much time, but even less of what Mastema's 'grand design,' as KB called it, was. "You and I both know it will not be Ms. Night's last chance to do so. As for grand designs...."
The main room seemed to find Nana's concern plausible. Though fires would only be a problem if the enemy got in, and even then it would be the last problem they'd probably have to worry about. "Nana, rest assured that all important structures are equipped with quality fire protection systems. As for the other structures, it would be less efficient to install new fire protection in them, because their structures would not fit well with most designs. However, the main droids are capable of equipping themselves to combat such a situation, and they are far more versatile than another fire supression system. That concern is well placed, dear, but quite assuredly taken care of." Mastema gave Nana a light grin, more assuring her that her concern was taken care of.
"Oh good, you're awake." Than sighed lightly, walking closer to Eecheb. "You seemed uncomfortable at the conference. I wanted to know if everything was all right." Than would sit on the Trilla's bed, looking at Eecheb. Before Eecheb would answer, Than grunted lightly as KB's telepathy instead of bouncing off him triggered something else. Instead of going to Eecheb, KB would get 'caught' for a moment in what seemed to be an incoherent bunch of images from Than's mind, images which seemed to go beyond the near 2 years of memories Than had in his life, something beyond what should be there.
"That will be the only taste you get for now." If KB tried again, he would simply be blocked. Mastema had only teased him by allowing him this glimpse of scryed images.
