Scandal Savage:
*Anger and jealously burned in Scandal's eyes. How dare she touch another like that! Scandal didn't care that Cassie was a demigoddess, if the cheerleader was messing around with Dani then Scandal would make her pay in blood.
Scandal drew another dagger and slammed it into the glass of the vending machine. It shattered under the blow and the fiery senior pulled out the snowballs that Dani was craving. She tossed them at Dani's feet.*
Enjoy.
*Scandal stalked back to her room in anger. She would need a way to hurt a demigoddess. Perhaps Knockout would have a suggestion.*

Cassie heard the smashing of the glass of the vending machine... She turned around seeing Scandal toss some sweet treat and Dani's feet and then march off... Cassie felt guilty.. but she was unsure why. Cassie was pretty sure she didn't do anything wrong. She only went looking for Dani cause she was worried but now somehow she caused a rift between Dani and her girlfriend..
" I'm sorry.."
What if Dani hated because of what happened? Cassie didn't want to think about it.Cassie then turned the corner and took out her cellphone to call the only person she could really think of to talk to about this... Chris.

"W-Wait!"
She said to Scandal. Running after her.
"It's not what you think. Cassie and I, we were old room mates..."
Dani pleaded trying to explane. but she could see it. the hurt in her eyes even if she didn't admit it. Dani had to make things right again. Between the two of them. She had to fix this and she would.
"Please Scandal. Don't leave. Come with me to Cassie's we can talk and you two could get to know each other."
She hand Scandal's hand her big eye's pleading with the fiesty brunette.
"Stay with me."

*Chris was sitting in the local history aisle in the library, reading the Hero High legend book. It was interesting to say the least. Some Author Guy The legend of Logan's lost cabin persists to this day. It's waiting in the woods for a new student to claim it. What secrets will they find inside? A lost cache of cigars? The secret to the Wolverine's past? Perhaps the knowledge of what it is that Logan claim he does best. It seems that the X-Man Wolverine had a cabin he lived in while he attended school at Hero High in the 40's. Geez, how old is that dude? Chris thought. Logan would throw the wildest parties there and it was the most popular hideaway at school. But the hairy owner blindfolded all guests he took there so when he left school, the location of the cabin was lost. An inkling of an idea began to form in Chris's mind. Then his cell rang.* Hey, babe, what's shaking?

*Scandal was torn. Dani seemed so sincere but there was something about the way she looked at Cassie. Scandal sighed. Just because her last girlfriend cheated on her didn't mean Dani would.*
Danielle. The last girl I was involved with cheated on me. Extensively. I cannot go through that again. I won't. If there is anything between you and the cheerleader then tell me now.

What's shaking...? By the gods Cassie really was shaking... scared that she might lose her best friend over this.
" I... I ... I think Dani might end up hating me.."
Tears were slowly starting to stream from Cassie's eyes.
" Dani and I were having a sleepover and when I woke up she was gone and I was worried about her so I went looking for her. When I found her she was with Scandal so I tried to leave them alone for privacy and all but I slipped on a can and accidentely made all this noise. Then Dani came to help me up and Scandal got all mad for some reason and broke the vending machine and left.... And I don't know what I did but somehow I think I might've ruined Dani's relationship with Scandal... and now Dani might hate me... and I don't want my best friend to hate me.. WAHHH!!!"
For someone who was often incredibly tough and able to make mortal men shake in their shoes Cassie was acting awfully emotional.Her crying even resembled an anime character. It's cause it was Dani... Danielle was very important to Cassie and she knew that Chris would understand that.

Dani shook her head, she felt horrible about what she'd said... And something about Cassie... She always wondered... But Never go the chance. It's all over now. They could never be more then friends. Too many people would suffer. She could never do that, break up the family she tried so hard to glue back together.
"She's my old room mate. And she's my best friend. I would never cheat on you. I too was hurt once. I know the feeling. Never going to happen."
She hugs her squeezing lightly, holding her for a moment, as if to say she'd never let go. She wasn't sure if this was love. but she did know, she didn't want to loose her. Even if she was scary.
"C'mon. lets all talk together. Her name is Cassie. You two have a lot more in common then you think."

*Whoa. Cassie was talking fast and sobbing so Chris was barely able to make out what she said. He hurried down the aisle, leaving the book trolley and unshelved books behind.*
Hon, even if Scandal flipped out...
*He armored up and jumped down from the second floor. Armoring back down, he snatched the keys from the desk and went to the front doors.*
...it doesn't mean she would dump Dani...
*He locked the front doors and hurried towards the girl's dorm.*
...but if she did, it would not be your fault. She'd be ridiculously jealous for no good reason....
*He jumped up the front steps and went inside the dorm.*
...and Dani know this. She wouldn't turn on you....
*Chris took the stairs two at a time and found Cassie outside her room. He hung up the phone and hugged her tightly.*
...she's too good a friend and a person to do that.

In Chris's arms Cassie felt safe... she knew he was right but at times logic escaped her... Why was she so emotional when it came to Dani? Cassie didn't know... But she was glad Chris was there. If he hadn't been then Cassie might've lost it. Cassie leaned on Chris's shoulder...
" Thank you Chris... I just... I really need you right now."
It meant a lot that Chris came to be with her... She knew he was working late at the library and hoped that he wouldn't get into too much trouble with Mr. Rayner.

*Chris gave a kiss as Scandal and Dani came around a corner. Scandal was being pulled along by the shorter Dani which just looked weird. Scandal was also blushing furiously.*

Dani chirped from behind them, giving a greeting nod to Chris, still holding Scandal's hand.
"So how about we play a game? A get-to-know-each other game?"
She hoped that this would resolve any issues between the two. She could already feel the tension in the air. and .. Had Cassie been crying? She looked between the two.
"Or we could just go inside and talk?"

As the kiss ended Cassie was feeling much better. She was happy that she was there with Chris and it almost seemed like the rest of the world had just melted away... that was when she realized Dani and Scandal were there... Cassie turned to face Dani.
" Sorry Dani, I don't know what I did but I felt like I might have ruined things between you and Scandal so I called Chris. I hated that feeling so I called Chris...."
Cassie clung on to Chris a little. The one man who had always been there for her no matter what, the one person who's forgiven countless times when she was in the wrong, the person whom she tried to push away but he wouldn't let her. She looked over at Dani... Danielle was indeed beautiful, and smart, and fun, and always there for her. If it hadn't been for Chris... if it hadn't been for Scandal... no point in contemplating what could have been.

She squeezed her hand a little sportively.
"Hoping to patch things up between all of us. I mean we do have a dance to go to together."
She looked at Scandal.
"That is if you'll come with me to the Monster High Dance."

But I already know you and Cassie, Dani.
*Chris's internal dialogue made a comment about knowing Cassie real well and then there was Butthead type laughter. Scandal arched an eyebrow.*
Danielle meant me.
*You ninny, she thought.*
Of course I will go with you. But...is Monster High not our rivals? My father may be displeased with me going there.
*Scandal brightened.*
Which is another reason to go.
*Chris's brow furrowed. He assumed Cassie was going with him but he learned that girls did not like to be taken for granted.*
Cassie, would you go to the Monster High dance with me?

Cassie messed up Chris's hair a little in a playful manner. Then paused...
" To be honest I'm most concerned about Achilles... we haven't talked for a while... and Jen said she saw him reading the Illiad."
Cassie looked at Scandal... there was something ... violent about her. Which made Cassie concerned for Danielle's safety. But now was neither the time nor place to bring it up.
