When they get there though, they get a happy surprise. "I have a business trip to take." their dad says. "So we're bringing you two back home early."
Billy resists the urge to jump up and down and cheer.

Corri packs up his stuff too, except the stuff which he'll want in the tent with him, which he puts in his tote.

Billy throws his stuff into the back of the car and just grabs blankets, pajamas and such. And they get ready for tent sleeping because I decided it was night time>?

Corri changes into his pjs inside, takes his tote, and goes out to the tent.

Billy's sitting outside of it, smoking. He doesn't care if his parents take away his cigarettes anymore, since they're going home the next day, so he sees no reason to hide it from them. "We should do this in the summer, with like, Raven and Dom too."

"For sure." Billy replies. He finishes his smoke and climbs into the tent. It's still light out, and he decides that he wants to sketch Corri. Corri doesn't know this yet, though.

Billy seriously and honestly draws the whole flippin' time Corri reads, which is, until it gets too dark to read/draw anymore.
