Ryou blinked, a little overwhelmed. "It didn't seem like much of a, um, trade. I mean, when they were with me, Vadin and Luci were both--" He cut himself off, clapping his hands over his mouth in stunned silence. He bowed his head quickly, his hair forming a kind of curtain to hide his face. He couldn't believe he had almost said that.

Kira let out a sad sigh. She pushed herself up so she was sitting. Reaching out she gently pulled ryou closer giving him a hug.

Ryou shuddered slightly and was a little rpoud of himself that he didn't cry. He drew in a shaky breath and pulled out of Kira's hug. "I should go get you a washcloth. You've got some blood on your face."

"Yea.." Kira said. She pulled herself to her feet,her body trembling.

Ryou adjusted the blanket he had wrapped around Kira, getting up to his feet as well. "Here... you should just sit down..." Ryou said, glancing towards the bed.

Kira sat down letting out a sigh "Why cant things ever be normal?"

Ryou had been heading to the door. When he heard this, he sighed and turned around to look at her. "I really don't know." He said, sighed unhappily, and left the room.

Kira sighed and got up to get a shower.

Ryou came back a little later to find that Kira was gone. He decided that it would be easier to wait for her to come back than to go out and try to find her, so he just sat down on the bed. He grew exhausted and curled up on the very edge, falling into an uneasy sleep.

Kira had just been in the bathroom that was attatched to the room. As she walked in she saw ryou. Smiling softly she laid beside him.

Ryou shifted a little in his sleep so that he now faced Kira, and seemed to scrunch into a tighter ball.

Kira moved them both over so they were in the middle of the bed. She dident want ryou to fall off. Wraping her arms around him she just rested with him.

Vadin woke up with a slight start, and spent a few moments staring blankly at the ceiling before he realized what was missing. He scowled at the spot where Ryou should have been, and then carefully got off of the couch, trying not to wake Luci up. His form shimmered a little as he dressed-- he didn't really need to put on clothes, all he had to do was change his form. He connected with Ryou's mind and went briefly through recent memories to figure out where he was.
Ryou's eyes opened abruptly; he didn't seem to notice Kira at first. They slowly focused and he blinked, wondering what that was about. He then noticed Kira, and looked a little embarassed. "Oh... I didn't mean to fall asleep..."

Kira smiled "thats ok." She said. "I enjoy spending time with you,even if you are sleeping."
