Romano looked at her and nodded. "Sure, I can help you carry the ingrediants if you want." he smiled at her and walked over to Hyua. He turned to Tressa. "This is Hyua-chan~"

Tressa bowed nervously.
"h-Hi Hyua, my name is Tressa..."
Hyua smiled.
"Hello Tressa-san, it's nice to meet you." ^-^
Tressa began to walk out.
"W-We should hurry... m-my parents get home soon..."

Romano nodded and followed, he was still curious about the bruise on her arm. "It shouldn't take too long!" He smiled and walked by Hyua.

Tressa nodded. There was another bruise on her back, like she had been punched repeatedly or kicked extremely hard there. Tressa looked through her bag to make note of exactly what was needed.
Hyua looked at Romano.
"Do you see the bruises too?" She whispered.

Romano looked at Hyua and whispered. "Yeah...there is one on her arm too..." He wondered if she was abused.

Hyua's eyebrows drew together.
"That's probably why she's so nervous and scared around people.."
Tressa was a little bit in front of them, when she stopped at the door of her house and listened. There was silence so she opened the door and walked in, but after a few seconds there was a yell and then a cry of pain.
Hyua looked at Romano and ran in.

Romano nodded, getting startled a bit at the sudden yell and cry of pain, he ran in after Hyua. "Tressa?"

A man was gripping Tressa tightly by her jaw, forcing her to look at him. Tressa's lip was already split and there was a bruise already on her shoulder.
"I told you to stay in the house, you b*tch!"
Hyua's eyes got wide.
"Let her go!!"
The man looked at Hyua, then turned to Tressa, enraged.
"YOU BROUGHT PEOPLE HERE?!"
Tressa flinched and whimper.
"I-I....I-I-I'm...s-s-sorry..."
The man got in her face.
"No you're not!"

Romano stopped by Hyua wide eyed. "Were her friends! Let her go!" He said, this was the first time he saw abuse from parent to child. He wondered if her mom was the same.

The man snickered.
"Friends? She doesn't have friends.. she's a freak."
Tressa began to cry without sound. She was so scared.
The man growled at her.
"DONT YOU DARE START CRYING ON ME!" He slapped her across her face, throwing Tressa to the floor. Tressa curled up, her shoulders shaking with her sobs.
Hyua gasped and ran over to Tressa. She looked up at the man.
"You hit her one more Time and I swear you will regret it!"
Tressa whimpered.
"Don't fight back, it only makes him angrier..."
Tressa was right, the man's face was red now. He picked Tressa up by the hair.
"Get out of this house! Now! Get out!" He yelled in her face. Tressa quickly grabbed all of her ingredients and rushed out.
Hyua looked at Romano and followed.

Romano looked shocked, he clenched his fists, wanting so badly to teach the man a lesson but he couldn't. "I'll make sure your reported..." he mumbled and walked out to follow Hyua and Tressa.

Tressa fell against a tree a block later and dissolved in to tears. She couldn't take much more of this, she hurt all over. The blood from her lip was running down her chin.
Hyua stopped in front of her and pulled out a tissue, giving it to her.
"I keep them for Vene now..."
Tressa looked at her and used the tissue to stanch her split lip.

Romano stopped by them and sat down next to Tressa. "Yeah, Vene use to get beat up and cry a lot...." He smiled a bit at her. "Was that your father? Why does he do that..."

Tressa wiped away the last of the tears and nodded.
"Y-Yeah...that's my dad. He thinks I'm a freak.. because of this..." She held out her arm and a small ball of chakura formed in it, it's rainbow colors dancing, twirling and spinning around.
Hyua looked mesmerized at it.
"Woah..."

Romano looked memerized also. "It's so cool!" He said, wide eyed. He shook his head and looked back at her. "Your not a freak..."
