Rex Mason *Rex reacts to Avarice's move for the ring and leaps back from Rage, the energy blast going off into the air. He reshapes himself back to normal and looks over at Shift*

*Rex blasts at Shift who can only turn intangible and avoid the shots* Well . . . *Swings at Rex's face* The main reason is because you're trying to kill us. *Blasts at his gut.* If you hadn't attacked me? I'd be perfectly happy to go the Live and let Die route.

*the skies darken, HB leaping after Rex again, and a hole in the air slowly whorls open in the middle of the Bistro, a void that begins sucking stray debris into it*

*A tentacle tentatively worms its way out of the hole, cautiously at first, then streaming through, until finally it gets to the size that it is having to squeeze itself through, a gigantic arm of suckers, slithering into the bistro, bee-lining towards the closest energy source it feels.... in this case, Rex and HB*

I have been backtracing the energy since it started scanning me, and there was a MASSIVE spike in here within the last hour. AND. NOW. IT. IS. GONE. AGAIN.

Hellboy hangs in the wires he's been flying in, the red lights are turned off, and Guillermo Del Toro walks into the Bistro set. "Great job, Ron! Unfortunately, it seems like the Rex prop is malfunctioning again."
"What, again?!" Ron Perlman sighs. "Dammit. Can I get outta this harness? Things are starting to ride up." gonk
One scramble of the techs later, Ron is sitting, still in make-up, in one of the Bistro's chairs, cup of joe in hand. "Mmmmm.... coffee. " heart He waves at the actor walking by in the tentacle suit.
