Avarice is weaker than Rage, it must be stopped before the other for love.

Anyway, Rex . . . *Fights against "Mercy"* Avarice is ALL about Love. Y'figure. Love involves jealousy, and wanting to be around your beloved more and more. That isn't a manifestation of avarice?

Feel the love.
*He starts to alter his elemental make-up at a quick pace, changing him into his parts into different states of matter and elements. OH SHI- gonk *writhes in agony as his chemical make gets messed with.* Y-you don know that this is a terrible idea, right? *Rex hits "the sweet spot". And by that I mean the composition at which Roger is no longer a conduit. And since something full of energy has to let if go if there is no longer enough resistance to hold it in place, Rex and his ring get the full load of energy Roger had absorbed, as well as his usual payload of good ol' American electricity. Of course, now he was inert and nothing more than a statue...*
Rage responds differently, protects one, doesn't hate one. Rage must be quelled.

*bleeding from another hit, Hellboy's aura begins to pulse, and the Right Hand of Doom begins to react oddly, the carved swirls beginning to glow, pulsing slowly at first, then quickly.*

Actually, it's EXACTLY Bruce Lee style, as the ring is copying Lex's memories of Enter the Dragon. Lex grabs for the ring on Rex's hand.* Hey, Hellboy? If a Lantern ring stole Roger's charge, couldn't a Lanmtern ring give Roger a new charge? I mean . . . isn't he a machine, kinda?

*Rex reacts to Avarice's move for the ring and leaps back from Rage, the energy blast going off into the air. He reshapes himself back to normal and looks over at Shift*
Why must you try and stop our love?
