Felina frowned shaking her head "No of course not, in fact its illegal even for black mages to be using hexes in places where elves reside without a very good explination. I believe depending on the hex its up to ten years in jail. I think just letting dad deal with the people who bother me is a far safer way don't you" she told him placing Cid upon her head out the way.
Satoshi laughed joining in with the moogle celebrations "I'm sure he wouldn't complain if we went to find him to give him some cookies but he might just want to concentrate on the final, will leave you to decide since it was your idea. But did you see Zadina thata he did thata move with only one hand? That means one day you might be able to learn it from him" she encouraged watching the defeated opponant quietly slip away.

Oassu smiled "I guess hexing is really bad then huh, thought it was just like mean tricks and stuff" he said looking up at Cid sitting proudly on his pedestal "But yeah your dad can probably do anything in the town." he said.
Zadina nodded "I'm sure he'd love a pleasant little box of cookies, lets buy some from a shop around here" he said happily moving out from the small crowd of moogles "I doubt I'll ever be able to move so fast or cut through armour like that" he said.
Itaka nodded "Sounds cool you can recommend some when we get back still there's a veg shop over there" he said indicating a busy looking human run shop over at the edge "I imagine it's so busy cause vegetables are so rare must be flown up from the ground" he said noting the clothes of an airship captain on the man selling things. "Shame nothing will be so fresh but then again it's lucky to find any greens this high up" he said

Seph shrugged hugging Itaka from behind as Chobi began her decent "It could still be reasonably fresh you know if they stored the stuff correctly in a fridge since they stay fresh for several days not that Chobi is a particularly fussy eater. Plus they could be grown in a nice greenhouse somewhere for all we know... wish I could like greens as much as Chobi... then I could get away with exercising less" shes snickered at the thought.
Hebal clapped her hands happy to have come up with another good idea "Uhuh then it is decided, we shall get him cookies and if we get some from here they will be pumped with extra sugar and sweet flavours" she grinned bouncing around on the spot and pulling her friends away from the screen "Maybe you can do it Zadina, if you don't try to learn you can never find out if you can"

Felina almost nodded but luckily remembered Cid was up there and could easily fall off "The only difference between a hex and a curse in out eyes is that hexes tend to effect an individual where as curses can cause bad consequences for large numbers of people who come in contact with the victim. So dad can deal with stuff... he can be pretty harsh to those who really cause him bother though 99% of the time it never comes down to extreme measures"
Satoshi gasped feeling the air being dragged out of her as usual by Hebal "Hey steady on, don't you want to see Mari's match first? And its not like we are short on time, Gil will have a couple of hours rest at least before the finals take place" she pointed out wanting to see how Mari would do in her semi final round "And she's right Zadina plus it will take a lot of training so might take ages and ages before you could do it, but doesn't mean theres no potential there"

Oassu nodded "Pretty bad stuff still it makes me wonder does your country have the death penalty?" he asked curiously "Some good information to have in case I ever fall foul of your father" he joked.
Zadina giggled "Well I suppose we could but when will it be? And we don't know where we'll find him even!" he said watching the small crowd disperse while two little fluffy moogles stayed imitating sword fights with sticks "Still we totally need to congratulate Sir Gil anyway on that spectacular fight but I guess it can wait" he said.
Itaka smiled enjoying the hug "Well sure they gotta keep it fresh to an extent otherwise no one would buy it" he said watching Chobi sniff the air and kweh excitedly as a space cleared to the counter urging Chobi through it "What should we get her?" he asked looking at the vegetables.

Seph laughed thinking that the answer would be obvious "Well considering the amount she is eyeing up the cabbages, I would say that its perhaps the best one to start with. And then some radishes, lettuice and perhaps some parsnips sliced up would keep her happy" she decided picking up the required bag "Though feel free to surprise us and find something new and random for her to try because nothing says adventure like a new food" she joked jumping off the chocobo's back.
Hebal stopped and spun around back towards the screen "Well ok we can wait for Mari's round before seeing Gil it's not like he could go too far while we watch it, he'll just be around the arena" she predicted dragging her friends back to the screen "Shame people won't pay more attention to Mari's fight even if its not the highlight for everyone" she mumbled noting how they were going to be the only ones still watching.

Felina slowly nodded feeling slightly guilty about it "Yes there is still a death penalty under elven law but only for serious crimes such as high treason, or mass murder. Anyway you get the point, thieving isn't going to get you that. About 10 years max for you if you messed up massively and could be out for good behaviour. Doesn't mean dad couldn't find another way to torment you but for now, looks like you'll be fine though I would prefer you didn't get sentenced" she smiled patting Oassu on the back.
Satoshi laughed quietly as she enjoyed the sight of the play fighting moogles she thought were cute "You two are forgetting what kind of person I am. Tracking people down who don't want to be found is what I was doing for a living long before I joined you guys. Just need to get a clone on it" she assured them breaking free of Hebal's grip.

Oassu nodded "I'm sure I'm fine you've kept me on the straight and narrow more or less" he said munching on his stolen apple from earlier "It's really pretty in this place" he noted wondering how they walked into a random garden "It's been fun being in this place if it wasn't so cold I'd come back here more often" he said.
Zadina nodded "Yep yep I imagine so plus Sir Gil would be super happy to see you I'll bet even if it is only a clone" he said watching the little moogles fly off to continue their fight "still Mari will get plenty of attention after all she is like the only other fight now" he said
Itaka nodded "Well bag some of those up for us then" he said watching as the shopkeeper leaned down towards him from his small platform "Hey I provide some greens for the chocobo's at the racetrack could sell you some surplus for that little beauty there" he said patting Chobi's beak affectionately. Itaka nodded "Sure toss some of those in" he said watching Chobi kweh happily and sniff the mans hand thinking he smelled tasty.

Seph smiled watching what was going on while she gathered each item on the mental list into the bags "You'll be like her friend for life for sowing her those" she joked to the shop keeper as she fished her wallet out from inside her summoned bag "Well she can't complain with food like this, we might even have food to give to Jenna and Boco left over. That is if we can find that elusive pair" she pondered.
Hebal grinned putting her arm around Satoshi pulling her back into her grip with Zadina for the second viewing "Mari is guarenteed to come either third or fourth if she loses this matches otherwise she'll get a nice Silver medel and a nice prize too. Would be so awesome if she could get one of the medals and prizes" she cheered picturing Gil and Mari carrying home giant trophies for a moment. "Just make sure you send one of your better behaved clones who won't be naughty or try and trick us when you go find him ok?" she added to the ninja

Felina laughed not entirely convinced "Yeah yeah I know you still get up to all kind of tricks. I'm just not going to lecture you on them, wouldn't want to be a bore all the time" she whispered first taking note of the apple then of the garden. "We're not trespassing anywhere are we? Bet this place wouldn't be so bad when its summer time for heat... or at least as bad as it is now for a more wintery month like this one" she shrugged leaning down to smell a small white flower surprised anything could grow at all in the low temperature.
Satoshi sighed giving up on escpaing from Hebal "Right then I'll send one of the shop clones to say hi and to either wait around for us or be teleported here. Regardless of whether she wins or loses she will have to fight again one more time to determine her position though her opponant looks somewhat tough... tanky at least" she quietly added as the image of a heavily armed garif warrior flashed upon the screen.

Oassu smiled "Relax I'm good but I wonder what kinda privacy laws this city has considering most of it's inhabitants can fly anywhere they like" he said "This place is easily accessible on foot so I doubt it's anything special" he said glancing at the flower "It's also weird seeing flowers up here not like we're anywhere near anything natural" he said
Zadina smiled "Yeah but Miss Mari looks healthy and bright but I'm not sure what that creature is.....is it a human with a mask?" he asked the ladies "It's rather scary looking" he said uncertainly.
Itaka nodded "Well don't need to get her that much really, after all by tonight she'll be back on the airship probably with supplies and all." he said watching as the salesman disappeared into the back of his shop to get some greens bagged for them "Though I'm not sure what our next destination after this place is" he said

Seph shrugged not having thought about it much "If I am completely honest with you, no offence to Oassu and Felina and all but they just dont seem to have a clue on where to go really. They only came here because they got some lucky advice from her sister. If anything we need to have a good sit down and try to come up with some kind of plan" she stated placing the Gil upon the table "I sent out a few letters about it to one or two friends about the ingredients but not had too many replies yet"
Hebal giggled thinking it was cute that Zadina knew so little about some of the residents of Kunec "Hehe thats not a human silly, can't you tell by all that fur. It's a garif, They are furry creatures but nobody has ever seen their faces without a mask on because they never take them off from birth to death. Though I must say it is rather odd seeing one here... despite their big tanky bodies most of them are just peaceful farmers and shepards" she frowned seeing the size of his sword.

Felina smiled gently picking one of the flowers seeing that there were pleanty the same in the garden "Some flowers only bloom in winter in the forest of Yithra so it shouldn't surprise me that one could grow up here but I'm guessing the garden owner puts a lot of time and effort into maintaining the garden. My guess would be anywhere with a roof is private for starters and then maybe anything with a fence is a no landing zone" she guessed tying the stem of the flower onto her coat.
Satoshi nodded not sure if there was anything more to say about Garif than Hebal had already mentioned "I had the pleasure of staying in a garif village once while I recovered from a particularly nasty leg wound. It was kind of weird because I wanted to reward them but they refused my money saying it was worthless and said if I wanted to truely repay then then I should help them collect up some food for a meal. Seemed quite primative and yet interesting"

Oassu smiled "Yeah but everything we've walked on is constructed, cities don't fly on their own, Kunec is entirely unnatural so it seems weird to see flowers here" he said examining the coat "It looks nice on you, white suits you" he said with an approving nod.
Zadina frowned "Primitive? They sound peaceful and friendly enough makes me wonder why this one wants to fight people" he said wishing he had a seat. "I wonder what they look like under those masks, they can't be born with them so they must have a face." he said
Itaka shrugged "It's his loss if he doesn't do it well but I'm sure whatever ingredients are on that list they aren't easy to get so don't blame them if they are having trouble." he said bagging some lettuce Chobi approved of "Besides the Dragon Festival is coming up soon I imagine we won't be doing anything until after that since we've all got our own plans right?" he said

Seph smiled petting Chobi's beak causing her to kweh happily once finished with her current food "We might get a little work done before the frestival depending on how many people want to do stuff and where. I know Alpha's going off to see Mu so we won't have an airship but don't know what the others will do, go home most likely. As for me... well I figured I would just tag along with you "
Hebal scratcher hear ear failing to picture a garif without a mask "Maybe you should ask a lady garif who has kids, or a midwife since they are probably the only people who have seen since the masks go on the moment they leave the mother's tummy" she suggested not realising she was bouncing excitedly for the match "I dunno why one would want to fight, usually they only fight to defend their homes or because something is making them feel real threatened. But a life without money would be pretty interesting... bet there area lot less greedy garifs than any other creature"
