She curled into him still holding her stomach. "I'm scared Ryan..."
"Shhhh...." He hoped they would be home soon.

"I could happen to any kid....." But he knew what she had to be thinking. It had been running through his head as well.

"but she's not any kid..." she shut the car off and just sat there for a moment before looking at him "she's our kid..."
"Deb... at the risk of sounding like an a*****e... you need to... I don't want to lose you... this wasn't meant to happen... not right now at least" he racked his hands through her hair "we can always try again later..."

She shook her head. "i can't... he's ours.... I can't... I can't...." She groaned a little as her stomach started to filled with pain.
"I know babe.... I know....." he took her hand and gave it a little squeeze.

She was curled up as tight as she could get and was shaking her head. "no..no no no no... no no no no...." She was mumbling now, the pin getting worse.
"Babe?" He scooted closer to her.

She was biting her lip to keep from screaming as the pain got worse. Soon it started to bleed. She screamed a little into his chest.
"Lets go inside babe." He wiped her tears away.
