Felina scratched her chin a little uncertain but was more curious about what Oassu was eating, not having seen that type of food before "I guess she will be... seemed a bit less happy when mentioned the ceremony but might be fine if we dont mention the match outome to her. But what is that thing your eating? Seems a pretty dumb idea to me, making acessories like that out of food" she stated a bit confused.
Satoshi shuddered at the thought of jumping around the city like Hebal "To each their own but you better not go carrying me on your shoulders like you do Zadina if you don't want me screaming. But I guess your right, the enjoyment I get from seeing the moogles flying about does counter out the fear of heights. Pity they dont have many settlements on the ground..." she trailed off leaning forward to make out what was on screen.

Oassu chewed the candy briefly "Oh no these were kinda fun as a kid just candy you get in a necklace" he said raising it up to take another bite "I used to wear these around my neck and when I got hungry I'd just raise the dangly bit to my mouth and nibble on one of the pieces see?" he said demonstrating for her "Totally practical"
Zadina smiled "But miss Satoshi if the moogle settlements like this one make you feel as if you are on the ground then the other moogle cities might be fine as well!" he pointed out trying to get a spot to watch the tournament "And you still need to be careful Miss Hebal don't want you leaping over the edge by accident" he warned.
Itaka paused looking at the menu contemplating a burger "I think I'll have the donner calzone pizza please" he told the old sun bleached bangaa behind the counter "And a bottle of Moca Cola" he said before moving back to the wall "Why did you have human junk food in the demon world?" he asked "It seems like a bizarre thing to have when you are fighting us" he said

Seph shook her head looking at the menu "Right I'll have one of those pizzas too in the largest size you have along with the seafood one. Oh and throw in three burgers and some fries" she ordered thinking that would keep her satisfied for most of the day "Well actually, I meant the food was human literally. People decided it made sense to put you guys on the menu since we were killing you anyway and resources were starting to get low since everyone was fighting not hunting."
Hebal shuffled to one side and pulled Zadina in front of her since she was taller "There you go, best view of the crowd. But you worry too much, I'm good at jumping and timing it so I wouldn't fall and even if I did, I'm like a moogle because I always land on my feet" she assured him ruffling his hair "Bet you would love being on my shoulders really Satoshi once sure I wouldn't drop you. And go try a moogle place on the ground then work your way up to the higher altitude places" she suggested bouncing with excitement,

Felina laughed "All those colours totally suit you" she teased pulling one of the sweets off for herself "Still seems silly to me but I suppose I see the fun of it. The most fun food I got was a bag of chewy sweets enchanted to taste like any random flavour there in the world and the only thing I thought about wearing on my neck was the shiny crown jewels when my parents weren't looking"
Satoshi shuddered shaking her head at Hebal "Even if you do always land on your feer you would break a leg from a certain height if not careful from the impact of the fall and I would rather we don't test how high we would need to go before that happens. If you can convince moogles to hire ninjas to sort out their problems then sure I'll get to see loads of places but not going to happen any time soon considering how few moogles live in my country"

Oassu frowned somewhat annoyed she had taken one of his sweets without asking "I don't think your sweets would be that good, not all flavours are nice after all plus a bunch of sweetmakers would be sad at having their sweets magically enchanted to taste different" he chuckled "Still what do your crown jewels look like?" he asked
Zadina gave Satoshi a gentle hug "There there miss Satoshi don't speak of such things Miss Hebal is a super jumper there's no way she would do something so silly and get herself hurt she is a professional dragoon as well as a blue mage remember" he said turning back to the screen while some pre-match entertainment danced in the arena.
Itaka chuckled "There was me thinking you'd be ok with just that stuff but you'll be having the pizza all yourself I don't like seafood on pizzas" he said watching as the old bangaa muttered something in his dialect to the other bangaa chefs before passing Seph the bill before going to help with the cooking "And...thats a little distasteful if you don't mind me saying" he grunted somewhat less hungry now "Why us? Not like we were the only things you killed and I hope you didn't indulge on them too much" he said

Seph snickered suspecting Itaka would react in such away "Nah I never got into it, eating human meat is pretty much cannibalism as far as I see though one demon did get a punch in the face for feeding me elf and telling me it was lamb when I was a little drunk. Gria was the catch of the day if available but its not for me, just stuck to the normal food. Anyway back to the nicer food I think I can manage the seafood one all by myself and I'll know which one to order if I want to be selfish" she joked.
Hebal frowned joining Zadina in hugging Satoshi "Nah uh only stupid dragoons break their legs from not landing properly or by overestimating how good they are but I'm not like that" she argued giving her friends a thumbs up "Maybe you could train the moogles how to be ninjas at your village, I bet some of them would jump at the chance to work as one"

Felina smiled but shrugged her shoulders "They dont mind if they did all the enchanting myself and half the fun was finding out the flavours though none were ever really bad flavours like... bogey for example, none of that. The jewels though... big, round and shiny with emeralds and rubies and sapphires and diamonds and all that. The only one I have which is like a family heirloon type gold and emerald pendant thing" she described deciding against showing such a thing in a public area.
Satoshi gasped surprised by the sudden hugs with Hebal's being particularly tight "Ugh careful with the grip of yours, its a little too sqishy" she advised gently lifting Hebal's arns for around her "Somehow I couldn't picture the moogles doing any ninja training hanging off cliffs and the like. They are too fragile for stuff like that"

Oassu smiled "Well sure so long as there's no bad flavours" he said raising his necklace for another bite "But tell me more about your jewels they sound....really beautiful" he said trying to visualize them "I take it they are kept in the palace with your parents?" he inquired petting Cid and breaking off a candy for him.
Zadina giggled watching a moogle knight overhear Satoshi and glare at her as it went past "I don't know Miss Satoshi that moogle seems plenty tough enough for the job" he said happily "I'm more concerned as to whether moogles will be able to blend in well enough as a ninja, and moogles hate water which would make them hate your village much like Sir Gil" he said.
Itaka nodded "After all you are half human I suppose" he said figuring it was the obvious answer "Still I imagine there are some demons who do fight predominantly with their teeth and eat as they fight after all that's what a good few fiends do and they are closely related" he said taking a deep breath of the nice smells of the various foods cooking.

Seph smiled placing a hand on his shoulder having already taken all the different smells in "Well you can sleep safely tonight knowing that me and Alpha aren't goin to eat you since neither of us are like that though he wouldn't appreciate being labelled similar to fiends or related much" she stated admiring the food made for the people who had made an order before them "The demons with teeth usually suck when it comes to fighting so are more likely to be sneaky"
Hebal frowned a little redirecting her arms to hug Zadina instead "Well I suppose they do have little arms but they would surprise you since they can be tough. But they could just work in other ninja villages if yours is mostly water... how you going to get Gil to visit your home if its like that? He hates water I heared" she wondered.

Felina nodded "Yep apart from the one given to me which I keep with me, they are all sitting in a vault under the palace. I'm sure you would like the crown considering its solid gold and lined with rubies and emeralds. Some of them are really weird though, like theres one huge ruby in there that got carved into a lifesize model of carbuncle. People have tried to steal that one a lot since its a lot smaller than the similar diamond ones that you find in all the old gods temples still standing"
Satoshi sighed shrugging her shoulders "I don't know if I'm honest, theres pleanty of land for him to walk about on once inside its just getting him to swim through the enterence tat would be hard so I could just teleport him through and save the trouble. He'll get used to all the water after a day or two but the last thing I want is to encourage moogles to go to other less watery villages because that would mean I might have to fight them" she pointed ignoring the glare.

Oassu smiled "Well I'd have left your jewel back at the castle seems safer there than out here y'know?" he said taking a small jelly out of his pic an mix bag "Still I didn't think you elves had such access to such gems, didn't know you owned mines or anything and you weren't friendly with dwarves until recently" he said wondering how they could get so many large gems.
Zadina giggled "Couldn't you always just take a big boat to the village and save him he hassle?" he asked "Or you could try and help him conquer his fear of water with a bit of luck" he said wondering how he would do it.
Itaka chuckled "Thanks because that was one of the biggest worries for me right now" he said sarcastically "Though I thought it was a fact that demons were related to fiends, whether Alpha likes it or not" he said moving aside for other people to come into the shop.

Seph smirked sitting down on the only free waiting seat which was left "Oh you say that now but I could always introduce you to one or two demons who would be more than happy to take a bite out of you when I'm not looking. But look at it this way... humans, apparently evolved from monkeys and are in ways similar, but that doesn't stop people feeling insulted when you all them apes and gorillas. Its a matter of evolutions" she explained watching what the staff were doing seeing that toppings were being added to something behind the counter,
Hebal scratched her head "Well the only way to cure him really is to expose him to the fear meaning we must throw him in deep water. Though personally I wouldn't want to have to face the wrath of an angry Gilgamesh mad at us for pushing him in. Though if you have any bright ideas as to how to convince him to give it a go please share"

Felina smiled back offering Oassu one of her sweets "We have the odd cave/mine but its mostly made by alchemy nowerdays. Though once upon a time, like when all the big ones in the temples were made, dwarves didn't even exist yet to fight with them over underground territories. But my treasure is important to me so I prefer to carry it around and avoid unwanted attention by not wearing it" she muttered.
Satoshi laughed watching as the screen moved to show the lady Gil was facing entering the arena "She apparently came second last year... not a very nice lady. Anyway there are no boats to my village unless you have a rowing boat yourself because they attract too much attention to a hidden village. I also dont think he is in a hurry to get over his fear" she concluded imagining a rather annoyed Gil at the suggestion.

Oassu smiled thankfully accepting the sweet "Well guess that's it then, didn't think elves did much alchemy either" he said stretching out "But yeah if I had a really rare valuable treasure that was made for me I'd consider it important and special too" he admitted.
Zadina frowned "There are other ways to cure a fear you know Miss Hebal, I could try and develop a kind of float talisman if it would help him get across the water easily" he suggested looking back at the screen "If she's the runner up last year she must be good" he said.
Itaka's smile flickered "Well lets just not go say hi to those ones then" he said "But ok I won't bring up the fiend thing around any of your demon friends or any demons for that matter" he said stroking one of Seph's horns on her head.

Seph laughed nuzzling Itaka with her horn "Relax, I was totally kidding about the eating part. None of my friends find you particularly tastey or any human for that matter so please don't panic" she assured him surprised a little that he bought it "If you provoke a demon on the other hand... nevermind as the only thing I want to eat now is my pizza" she grinned watching hoping she could see hers going in the oven.
Hebal shook her head unconvinced "Nah that so doesn't work because the charm doesn't remove the fear. Just gives him a way to get from A to B without having to encounter his phobia. as much by swimming all by himself" she argued making a rude gesture at the screen as the opponant walked on "She was really mean to us and we told her to go away when she came to our little stall the other day."
