Lark was very grateful for Vickilyn's kindness and he bowed, thanking her gratefully, "I thank you for your hospitality....if you don't mind...I would like to write a few things about this place, you know, architecural information and layout....it's part of a hunter's job." Lark would have to search for his sister another time, in the meantime, he would rest himself and possibly train himself a bit more while he had an open area to do it. Lark smiled to Vickilyn asking her, "What floor are the rooms on, if I may ask?"

"Architectural info? Layout?" I asked, "why would you want to know those types of things?" then it all occurred to me. "Is it because you'd like to be prepared for a future attack on my home, my family, and my guests?" I asked returning my hand to the hilt of my sword, "if so then you can see your way out." My demeanor changed from hospitable to almost enraged when he asked where the rooms were, 'there are children residing in those rooms' I thought 'what could he be planning?'

Lark shrugged when he was asked what the information he wanted would be used for and told Vickilyn, "I don't know, I'm just keeping it for myself, I'm kind of weird like that...a history buff sometimes, I like to prove books wrong. I'm not even going to be in contact with other hunters while I'm on my journey. I just keep this stuff in my head anyway, it's like how people count the number of ceiling tiles in a room, just numeral fun stuff." Lark was a little unsure about if Vickilyn would let him stay, he wasn't very good with his words so he clarified for Vickilyn, "I just wanted to know where I'd be able to find the empty room you mentioned..unless you take it back. I never made a single threat against you, did I?"

Charlie walked up the path that lead to the mansion. A place she had once stayed in before her parents were killed, but now she was back. She adjusted the two bags that were on her shoulders as she reached the door. She knocked her famous knock. Five taps, a pause, two more taps, another pause and two taps again. She leaned back on her heels, and waited for someone to answer. The mansion didn't look like it had really changed much since the last time she was hear. She was so glad to be back to a place she could actually called home. She was pretty sure that the hurt inside of her was showing. People asked her if she was alright because she looked like she might just break down crying. Something she would do if no one was around.

Lark smiled, he knew that Vickilyn had the right to accuse him of every little thing he was doing, he thought that this was karma for every vampire he had killed, although...those vampires had commited crimes just like his sister. Being a hunter was just like being a cop, once you kill, you get used to it...but you can never get used to people for hating the fact that it's your job. It was a long time ago, but just like his sister, Lark had wanted to be a vampire as well...that's why he was partially jealous of his sister. Lark waved to the person that Vickilyn was introducing him to and politely greeted, "Hello, my name's Lark, I hope my staying here for a bit won't be a bother."

Charlie stummbled as she was attacked with a hug. She hugged Vickilyn back and smiled. "Be careful with that bag. It rips easily." She said to the servant. She walked through the door and looked around. "Of course I'm staying. I missed you all so much too. Unfortuantly things happen and need to be taken care of." She said the last part softly. She saw two other people talking to each other. "No one took my room? That is great! I've always loved that room. Thanks for keeping it open." The place still looked the same as it did before she left. "So, how are things? I see you have newcomers."
