Cassie had taken several teachers to the med center. She took some students also. The staff at the med center was overworked and under staffed. Cassie wanted to help in anyway she could.
" Great Gaia! I hope Chris is okay.."
Cassie then flew back out the med center to find more students and staff and bring them in. It was quite a task as several had been injured or hurt. Cassie would much have rather been in battle but she was still unsure of the source of the chaos... was it the witches? Satana? or something else?Magic... why did it have to be magic.

Billy rose higher and higher, far enough away he dared pray, far enough away from the school, and the people below...
Billy screamed.
He screamed loud, as the power he drank it forced it's way back out of his body at an alarming rate! The light, the energies of the Nexus, surged forth from his small body and the late afternoon sky lit up as if a star had exploded!
The energy washed over the school grounds...
The power of the Nexus returned to its source...
The protective enchantments back around the school...
The teachers started to stir...
And a small body plummeted toward the ground far below.

Cassie noticed the teachers stirring... something was going on outside. But what...? Cassie was running around helping the nurse's bandage up any injured students. She didn't know what to think or say... Cassie went outside to see what was going on. It was then she saw someone.... falling. Cassie flew up and caught him...
"Billy?!!"
No response... his breathing was faint... Cassie rushed him into the medical center.

*Whew. It didn't seem like anyone was hurt. And Cassie had nabbed Billy as he fell. She was so hot when she was kicking a** and saving people. He totally wanted to make out with right-*

*He looked down and found a wide awake Professor Prince staring at him with an arched eyebrow.*
GAH!
*And he dropped the principal.*

Two miles above Midvale...
The sky seemed to shimmer momentarily, and something appeared in midair. It careened wildly before crashing into the local radio station's spire.
(Damn it! What was that?! Some sort of massive energy disturbance has thrown me off course...)
The 'thing,' dragging spire with it, zoomed down in a random, loopy pattern.
(Hello, control, can you hear me? Are we still connected?! What's going on?! I can't activate - oh, no. Bracing for impact!)
Hidden by the darkness of night, but with a trail of light following behind it, the entangled thing crashed into the pond in Midvale Central Park. Ducks and squirrels ran away as the thing bubbled and slowly sank down. Steam rose up from the water where it landed.
Shortly, some ONE bobbed their head up above the water level, gasping for air.
"Gaaaaah."
Coughing and hacking, the figure coasted towards shore and crawled up on land. Trailing frigid water, the survivor of the crash held up a small, slightly glowing pad...tapping furiously with fingers numb with cold.
"Where....where....where..."
The figure came to a stop in front of the main sign of the park. He looked up at the letters.
Welcome to Midvale Central Park!
Established: 2010
"Midvale....that means...Earth. Synchronizing..." The figure tapped the pad a couple more times. A copy of yesterday's newspaper appeared on the screen. His fingers paused at the header of the newspaper.
"But that means....the invasion is on its way."
The figure looked up at the sky.
"It might already be here."

After Cassie brought him in the doctors and nurses were unsure of how to treat Billy.Cassie went outside to try and find help... that's when she saw Chris and Diana.
" Diana!.. Billy.. he's... he's hurt really bad I don't know if he's..."
Cassie didn't complete the sentence.. she didn't want to. Her eyes were watery as tears slowly started falling from her eyes. Diana gently put a hand on Cassie's shoulder.
"Take me to him"
Cassie nodded and took Diana to see Billy. The boy was still alive... barely. Diana narrowed her eyes in deep thought... there was a way that Billy still might have chance ... but it broke amazonian law.

*Diana was discussing something with Nurse Foley about Billy. Fortunately, she wasn't mad at Chris for dropping her. Probably because she was invulnerable.*

Cassie hugs Chris...
" I'm just worried about Billy is all.."
Diana then goes up to them.
" I need to take Billy to Paradise Island immediately..He needs the magic in the purple ray or he could die. "
Diana carried Billy in her arms as she floated up.
" Still Billy will be out of classes for a week or two while he recovers."
Diana then flew off to Themyscira so that Billy could get better. Cassie looked off in the distance as her mentor flew off... It was against amazonian law for men to brought to Themyscira let alone stay there.

He'll be okay. Professor Prince will take good care of him. Someone should tell Teddy though. And we should check on Dani, Wally, and Achilles.
*Especially Wally. Chris hadn't seen the little speedster since the beginning of the assembly.

Jen helped up her cousin who was lying at the back of the hall.
"What truck hit me?" Bruce said shaking his head.
"I think it was magic..see I'm not quite sure but there was this Exorcist possession of Billy and she totally stepped out of him like he was a wardrobe and there was this wibbly wobbly swirly thing and all these monsters came out and Achilles got dibs on the dragon and like I fought a fire lizard thing and well then Billy blasted through the stage and made it all go away and he kind of exploded with the power and he's now in the infirmary, which sucks."
Bruce couldn't take it all in and just stared blankly.
"Stuff happened and I'm still dressed! Check it my clothes are only slightly scorched!" Jen said.
"I still don't understand what's happening... "
"Let's just say a wizard or maybe a witch." Jen shrugged. "All I know is I need more pocket money to go clothes shopping."
Bruce pretended he didn't hear the last part and got up to help any students and teachers. "This was only suppose to be a short assembly, can't we do any thing at this school without something happening?"
"I think the answer to that is no," Jen said. "Just don't go on a rampage about it."

So, where was Wally?
Funny story...the instant Satanna had stepped out of Billy, Wally was on her, but the busty babe had been ready for him. Faster than any eye had seen, she'd nailed him with a spell that had teleported him onto the moon.
LUCKILY, he'd landed in the blue area where the Inhumans lived, but it had taken a lot of time to explain why he'd suddenly appeared in the royal bathroom while Queen Medusa was preparing for some royal bathtime.
Hilarity ensued and there were a COUPLE of punches and laser beams thrown. Eventually, Wally was able to plead his case in front of Black Bolt, king of the Inhumans and they agreed to send him home.
And so, pocketing the phone number of Princess Crystal, Wally put his hand on the Inhumans' pet teleporting dog Lockjaw and reappeared on the campus of Hero High. He was not at all surprised to see everything pretty much smashed up. He decided to find Chris to get the rundown of what happened.

Cassie went looking for Teddy. She figured that he should probably know that Billy wasn't going to be on campus for a while. Right as Diana was returning to campus. Diana checked with the medical center, apparently there were no major injuries and many of the students and faculty were waking up. She looked around for Emma but she was nowhere to be found. Diana sighed and decided she should check on any damages made to the campus. As Diana walked around campus checking the damages she took out her cellphone to order some supplies. It was then a small ewok in a mailman outfit handed her letter. Diana sighed...
" What is it now..?"
Diana took the letter and opened it.
Dear Ms.Prince,
I regret to inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control, Jedi High must pull out from any sports events to be held for the rest of the year. Your understanding in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Diana sighed... The basketball team wasn't going to be to happy about this. Even the baseball team, which didn't start till spring was going to be affected. No matter she had bigger things to worry about.

Brought up to speed by Chris (who was impressed by Princess Crystal's phone number, totally, he just so didn't want to show it with Cassie around), Wally got busy helping everyone clean up.
By this time, Hero High had post-apocalyptic scenario clean-up down to a science, and the entire campus was back into workable shape by midnight. A bunch of sleepy students headed back to the dorms.
Oh yeah...tomorrow was going to be his date with Linda Park! Wally strolled over to see how Linda was doing, as she left the infirmary. Apparently, she'd been knocked out during the fracas. Before he could talk to her, though, Wally was accosted by the rest of the football team.
"Dude, West, we heard about you scoring the digits of a princess!" Julian held up his hand for a high five.
"Yeah, big score, huh?" Wally gave the requisite five fingers, but was straining over Julian's shoulder to see where Linda was going. Unfortunately, by the time he broke free of the back-pats and guys asking if Crystal had a sister, Linda was already gone. She'd probably overheard it all, adding to her opinion of Wally West as a jerk football playa.
It was weird, having two identities with Linda...but Wally was determined to see it through to the end. He excused himself from the team and headed back to the dorms. He wanted to be rested and ready for Kid Flash's date with Linda tomorrow.

Linda had left the infirmary...she was talking to different students trying to piece together the story. One of the students she saw was Wally West bragging to his friends about getting a girl's number... What a jerk! What kinda guy brags to his friends about getting a girl's number? That girl might've actually liked him but to Wally she was just a trophy. So much for asking him what happened.. Linda sighed. At least she still had the Kid Flash story... That's right tomorrow she was suppose to meet up with him. *sigh* Kid Flash. Linda headed into the dorms where she saw Mia talking to Aspen.
" So, Mia the Valentine's Day dance is in a few weeks. Who are you going to go with?"
" I don't know I was kinda hoping Julian would ask me.. What about you Aspen?"
" I'm thinking about asking Wally.."
" West? He's dated like almost every girl on campus ... why would you want to date him?"
" Oh... I know .. But I think I change him."
Linda sighed and went into her room. Aspen was being an idiot... you can't change someone. If they want to change then they need to that themselves... Besides Wally changed girlfriends as often as a girl changes clothes. Linda paused for a second... Why on earth was she concerned about Wally West?! It wasn't like they were friends or anything. Linda shook her head... she was going to meet up with Kid Flash tomorrow .. that would be awesome. Linda took a shower and went to bed... she needed her beauty sleep...That night the only the only person in her dreams was Kid Flash..
