Felina nodded her head giving Oassu a gentle tug towards a fruit and veg store, having the sudden urge to buy some after all the talk they were having "Lets go in there, maybe get a nice orange or two for later. But I gess I can see why you would be against using magic and why people would make up such silly rumours. It's just not such a problem for elves since a good portion of us have the magic skills to potentially do those spells"
Satoshi frowned helping Hebal up onto her feet "You probably surprised it when you poked it but its not gone far, just to its friends and I'm guessing its owner" she assured her pointing out the stand through the small crowd of moogles "We could all combine out present funds to get Alpha a super one if we find something good. Or even just something as a thank you for flying us around all over the place until stpidly early hours of the morning"

Oassu smiled moving after her spying Itaka and Seph at the other side of the market "I guess so, look there's Seph and Itaka at the other side....think we should say something to her after her loss?" Oassu asked uncertainly "Might just make her feel awkward..." he said picking up an apple.
Zadina giggled "Aww I think it's cute they managed to design a mechanical beetle that can emulate fear though I don't know why someone would need one but yeah we could totally pool our money and buy Cap'n Alpha a nice present!" he said
Itaka shrugged not sure whether it was a good deal or not to comment "So how do your teeth manage then? The amount of sugar you guzzle over time there's only so much brushing your teeth can do, need some moderation too" he chuckled rummaging in his pocket for some gil for his small chocolate bar while the pretty Viera behind the counter charged Seph for her sweets seeing the price offering her another bag is she wanted it.

Hebal shrugged pulling Satoshi and Zadina over to the stand "I dunno what use these things have but I'm guessing it has something to so with very small places you and me are too big to get through. Like going up drain pipes" she guessed poking one or two of the machines which didn't appear to be turned on "The question is what sort of mechanical thing to get Alpha, we may buy something that looks really cool but might actually be really silly like a can opener in a funny shape" she joked.
Seph shook her head removing the bag from the scales in exchange for her gil "Nope I just brush with some really good toothpaste. No catch or anything though to keep your teeth strong its often a good idea to get yourself some meat that is particularly hard to teat apart. Like a nice juicy steak not that I ever get to eat all that many" she told him moving out the way so he could be served.

Felina paused debating with herself on what to do about Seph and Itaka "I think she wouldn't appreciate us talking about her loss although... maybe if we say hi it might make her mood go up a little. Besides it would be rude to ignore them now we have seen him" she eventually decided checking over her shoulder briefly to check on Cid then moved her way through the people towards their companions "Hey there you two... is that bag strong enough to carry those sweets" she added suddenly noticing the contents of Seph's paper bag"
Satoshi smiled her attention more focused on one of the beetles with a torch strapped to the back of it. I dunno, if you could get a small camera onto one of these things then they would have great potential for spying on people and taking their pictures. If they did dad my village would so invest in buying all these" she muttered reaching forward to touch but stopped seeing the store owner was watching them "We could always get Alpha one of these"

Itaka chuckled "You think so too?" he said quietly paying for his chocolate before moving away so other customers could get in "She's just going to brush her teeth really well to make up for all the sugar she's eating" he said opening his sweet.
Zadina nodded "I suppose they would be useful for espionage but no matter a powerful enough magician can view anywhere he likes provided the place isn't magically protected" he said waving a hand dismissing the technology "Still I doubt Cap'n Alpha would get much use out of a little beetle other than a late night pet to chat with" he snickered.
Oassu's mouth opened in awe at the sweet shop moving past Itaka to take a look and grab a bag himself "Quite a selection they got here..." he said deftly pocketing the apple he'd swiped from the last stall since Felina pulled him away. "No wonder Seph's bag is full" he said helping himself to some sweets while Itaka rolled his eyes.

Seph raised an eyebrow a little surprised "Well I never said I was going to eat all of these at once. I would be bouncing off the walls for days if I tried. Still its nice to see at least once person knows good quality sweets when they see them" she defended herself giving her bag a good shake "I'll just have to eat some of these until the bag is a bit more secure not that I mind... anyway what are you two doing here? Would have thought you would be off somewhere classy"
Hebal sighed a little disappointed the idea wasn't too good for a gift "Ok ok something else for Alpha from here. Though I dunno what to look at as men are really difficult to buy things for in general let alone a big scary demon like him. But I do know he already has a pal to chat with through the night when flying since I get up to make armour usually just as he's going off to bed"

Felina laughed grabbing a bag for herself with intent to fill it with only a fraction of what Seph had in her bag "Ok ok, its just most of the time I see you wolf your food down and I wish my teeth could handle all that sugar at once though at least I can cure hyperactivity so that bits not a problem" she said only going for one scoop full of chocolate mice. "We just hung around this morning and had lunch then a bit of a wander around and saw you guys" she told them vaguely, reluctant to mention Gilgamesh or the matches.
Satoshi scratched her head for a moment then leaned forward and patted Hebal on the shoulder "Hey relax Hebal, we'll find something really good for Alpha and I agree, unlike women men never tend to give you the slightest hint as to what sort of gifts and things they want/like. Why would anyone be up at that time in the morning anyway unless there was a really important task to do" she quietly added.

Oassu smiled "Well yeah used to get sweets all the time as a kid with Jenna" he said filling up on his favourites "Still yeah we had a good lunch it was kinda classy but nothing too big" he said stretching as he weighed his sweets.
Zadina nodded "Mmmmhmm though I don't think we're that bad to buy for" he said thinking back to presents he bought for his brother "Just need to know him, maybe this would do..." he said pointing out a selection of sphere systems "He could watch stuff at night with one of these" he said.
Itaka shrugged "Her teeth are still good so I guess its all alright" he said taking a piece out of his chocolate "Not bad I guess" he said once he'd swallowed it "Still this is just our quick little lunch I guess" he chuckled "I'll probably get something more substantial than this though" he said

Seph paused stuffing her face with a handfull of jelly beans "Mmm you wouldn't like it much in the demon world, they don't have things like cake and chocolate on the menu like ever so you would have to make them all yourself. But all this sugar will keep me going until an evening meal until later... since I'm not exactly going to fighting anymore today" she added under her breath.
Hebal tilted her head trying to examine the spheres in order to determine what was on each one "Well it would help if we knew what was on all of them, don't want to give him something naughty to watch or something too young for him like Max moogle and the magical rainbow tree" she giggled shaking one of the devices up and down "Guys get harder to buy for the older they are unless you know them really well because you never say or hint at what you want the way ladies do"

Felina smiled pretending not to hear Seph's last little comment as she payed for her sweets "I probably wouldn't want to visit the demon world anyway if its like what I've heared. Apparently theres no flowers or anything like that, lots of extreme temperatures, lots of wasteland and monsters and thats about it" she told them leaning over curious as to how heavy Oassu's bag was "Bet you were a cute little kid running around like crazy in a sweet shop"
Satoshi nodded with approval taking the sphere from Hebal fearing she might break it "Well in that case why not get him a couple of blank ones and then he could do his own sphere to view later, maybe of his time wherever he goes to celebrate for the dragon festival" she answered shuddering at the thought of giving Alpha a dodgy sphere to watch "Sorry Zadina but its true about men and gifts. Though I think thats just how it is for either gender when buying for the opposite gender"

Oassu smiled "Not a place for regular people, its probably why demons are so tough coming from there" he chuckled paying for his sweets "But yeah spent a good deal of time running around sweet shops" he said deciding it best not to tell Felina why he was running.
Zadina nodded "Or we could get him an action sphere like Mack McSmack II!" he said finding a random one!" he said plucking out one he thought his brother would like "Still it's not such a big deal I doubt he'll reject a present." he said.
Itaka cuddled Seph slightly "Well you must have hated it in the demon world since you love those things" he joked before nuzzling Seph "We're just having a little snack lunch now" he said finishing his chocolate bar "Might wander around with Chobi a bit" he said patting the chocobo.

Seph shook her head "Oh sure its that bad in some areas but theres different countries with different things in just like in this world. Like the place I lived in had the odd sour sweet thing and the weather was unpredictable but not as extreme as in other places. Alpha probably lived there so his wife could live more comfotably since fur isnt good in places too warm. And on the up side my social life improved a great deal when there" she answered choosing to balence things out while Chobi headbutted Felina wanting attention.
Hebal couldn't help but snicker hearing the name "Mack McSmack is such a silly one and I can think of a few he might like more" she shuddered a little imagining somewhere in there could be one titled something like 'hot viera' but quickly pushed it from her mind "I dunno really, I've never had a sphere before because they are all so expensive"

Felina laughed and quietly whispered to Oassu "Probably from whatever law enforcements were about most likley and..." she trailed off jumping in surprise at the headbutt "Oh hey there Chobi, wasn't expecting that from you but thanks" she grinned rubbing the bird's beak. "In that case maybe I have just heared about the bad bits, would make sense really considering I was taught about demons suring the war so everything was explained in a negative way"
Satoshi hesitated wondering if she could see what was on the spheres labeled romantinc comedies "hmmm... could try Mack McSmack but the first one is so much better than the second one" she commented pretty sure she had viewed it at least once at an event in her village "They occasionally show sphere things at my village other than for mission reasons but I think I'll get some blank ones to record myself dependingon how much they cost."

Oassu smirked "I'm sure it's nice but still not hospitable for us in this world, well except maybe the dwarves who are highly heat resistant" he chuckled "They'd have to be it's boiling down in those cities" he groaned remembering the heat.
Zadina giggled "I've not seen sphere's ever, technology like this isn't too popular back home though I think there's a few small gadgety workshops on the outskirts of the city where some elves with an affinity for technology like to tinker" he said looking at a floating sphere showing some kids movie curiously.
Itaka smiled recalling Oassu and Jenna robbing sweet shops as kids "I'll bet it did, you'll need to take me to see where you lived there sometime, assuming you know we can even travel there. I hear the gates barely ever open these days it's policed so well" he said crushing his chocolate wrapper before tossing it in a bin.

Seph chuckled happy to see Chobi was being nice "She probably thinks you smell nice sice she won't leave you along" she told Felina as Chobi almost tried pouncing on her. "I could probably pull a few strings getting in and out depending on which way in I go. Like one of my old pals happens to be a gate keeper but it would take us to the opposite end of the world if we went though his portal" she muttered privately considering visiting a few gravestones in the demon world sometime.
Hebal nodded her head not surprised "You elves aren't exactly known for embracing technology not that you need it because of your magic, my village is the same really, won't tolerate any form of technology which is why dwarves are so unpopular. But the dark association had some on from time to time, only I wasn't old enough by the time I left to be invited to screenings" she said pondering on what sort of spheres would have been watched
