On the subject of the bug-catching contest in the park, I'd planned on having Miharu capture a Pinsir at some point. Would it be a problem to have her competing alongside Robin?
And since it's a Tuesday night in the RP (although soon to be Wednesday for most, and I've got Miharu starting off on Wednesday morning) would we be aiming for a Thursday contest? I'd like Miharu to participate as well, although she might not capture anything spectacular on her first try.

I have no idea on the dates though. It has been a LOOOOONG time since I participated in the bug catching contest. That and since the dates don't mean much here since they never change. I think I was gone for what half a year and it changed by like one day? That and Robin isn't going to win the Bug Catching Contest. I just want my Yanma and the only way to get it in the game for the swarm call thing and it just makes it more exciting to be in the contest. It isn't like it is far away either them being right next to each other and all.

Actually Melph, the date does matter. It keeps people from doing whatever they want whenever they want and helps to maintain balance within the game. I can't remember but I think I gave you both the OK for a Yanma and a Pinsir already, eh?

Yeah you did. Not gunna argue about it though, if its on a Thursday then I can easily wait a few battles and level ups would be good for me so what ever is fine. The reason I said the date doesn't matter was me saying that even if I have seen people go to sleep I never see the official date change is all, thats all I was saying.

I hadn't really thought about Miharu winning the contest, although it would be cool. I think I've actually won with a Pinsir before, but it's been a long time since the days of GSC for me. But if I remember correctly, the contests were held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays....so? I 'unno. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
And yes Aire, you did. Long before Miharu caught the Mareep, actually. sweatdrop

I generally change the date over once Kasiya and at least half of the active characters have made note of the date change by going to sleep. Mind you, I've seen many people do way too many things over the course of one day... but I guess people tend to forget that it's not like the GameBoy/DS world where you can play for days without your character sleeping and such. I'm just rambling now but I hope you get the point... I do want people to be realistic about how much they can achieve in one day.
And good... I thought I'd given you guys thumbs up already, but it's been a really hectic/tiring/exhausting last month so forgive me. ^_^;;
