Not always...even uf we escape one death, another one waits right around the corner. "Death is kinda like sex in High School...If you knew how many times you'd missed having it, you'd be paralyzed..." So...Yeah. Life sucks and then you die and then it sucks some more.
Off that topic and onto something a bit more happy: I'm writing a new fic. And I actually got one finished. Though it's a songfic, and I don't know if it counts.

*sneers at Jade while combing through and drying Draco's hair and ignoring glares from Pug-Face Pansy Parkinson* Ooh, how eloquent. Your amazing use of little words frightens me. FANFICTION OF THE GUMIHonestly Jade, I'm almost afraid of the vocabulary you're developing...or shall I say, letting rot? (j/k sis, you know I love you)

I shall have you know, Miss Gumi that I have a very extensive vocabulary, with a far number of the words involving complex pronounciation, although I prefer not to project myself as a "high-and-mighty-know-it-all", so I just use smaller words, so that anyone who is not a complete dingus will understand me.

Oh, har har. I'm not a dingus. Nor am I know-it-all. I'll leave that job up to Hermione, if you don't mind. I'm just saying that perhaps...a few more books would serve you well. In Pureblood socitey, such as the one our family is entering into after we graduate, it would serve one well to have a well-developed vocabulary.

Yo! Just because you're marrying Fuzz-face don't mean I'm gonna start talking like a rich preppy! *stomps away up to Harry's bed and flops onto it next to him*

Well, I'd like to see you and Lucius Malfoy survive each other for ten minutes at the wedding without the proper vocabulary! And unless you've forogtten...YOU ARE A RICH PREPPY! We're both pureblood and we're both sinfully rich!

*goes to foot of stairs* YEAH? SHUT IT! BECAUSE YOU AND LUCIUS BOTH HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE MARRIAGE CERMEMONY! FOR MERLIN'S SAKE, GROW UP AND BE MATURE FOR ONCE! IT'S A PUREBLOOD MARRAIGE, WHICH MEANS IMMEDIATE FAMILY HAS TO PARTICIPATE. WHICH MEANS...YOU HAVE TO TALK TO HIM!
*to Draco* even if it is only a script...

Oh...don't cry. *sits down next to her* She'll participate because it will make you happy. Your sister loves you but she just wants to be free of the stereotype that we tend to carry around.
