The current had gotten incredibly strong and Hiru was completely blown away by it once more. But, even though it was once more a failure, Hiru still laughed as he got pushed left and right by the waves. He went underwater to get another perspective, and to dodge a bit of the current. He got into a breast stroke position and pushed forwards from down below.

[I don't really know what to post when confronted with blank posts..]
Kiketsu seemed to like the quiet, Cassie noticed. He was visibly irritated each time Hiru enthusiastically announced his progress, and always got to work straight away. A little professional. Cassie wondered if he even had a childhood... still, she didn't want to disturb him, so she didn't say anything. She cast a look over at the two kids still reading, and then at Hiru with his bunshin. She gave him a thumbs-up and watched as he went off to swim some more.

[Sorry about that Kouri sweatdrop . I didn't think I was going to be gone that long.]
With each new sense proclaimed a new level of difficulty. Tasting was hard enough, but that was only one part of actually feeling his source of energy. That would be the next task. Could he feel his life energy? The spark of power that would be one half of the unleashing of his techniques. Despite his hard concentration, his nerve endings could not get a grasp of any feeling. Nothing hot, nor cold. Was this part of his unfeeling self? If so then how would Kiketsu finish mold his chakra? The serpent boy was beginning to let his mind wonder and lose focus.

Of course swimming underwater was much easier. And, Hiru always felt more at home there. Not because of his ressemblance to a shark, but because, when he stayed submerge long enough, it was like all the noise and the worries of the outside world would stop. No one to tell him he wasn't strong enough, or vicious enough. Only himself and the peaceful flora of the underwater world. He couldn't waste too much time on this though, he had to go back to training!

Hiru got back to the surface and gracefully slipped through the water. Everyone of his strokes seemed as though it caressed the water more than it hit it. Hiru seemed completely in harmony with this element. One side after the other, his arms pulled Hiru all the way up to the academy where he started. He was pleased to see his bunshin was still holding, and proud of it too! He let the current take him back a bit farther away before trying again.

Hiru was having so much fun swimming up and down the river, he barely noticed it was training. His body was sure as hell feeling it though, but it was as though he was floating through a cloud for all he cared. Hiru thought this was a useless gift he had though. How could swimming even help him during a shinobi fight? His father could probably have answered that... but that wasn't going to happen... for a while at least.

No matter how much pleasure he had, his greatest challenge was to stay focused on the training aspect of the exercise. He had to work to surpass himself no matter what he did. This time, he took the training too lightly and a wave forced water inside his mouth and made him choke. That was really careless of him since he had gills to make him breathe underwater...

After Hiru stopped to spit the water out, he swam one last time up the river, all the way to the academy. Before getting out, he thought he'd try to match the exact speed of the current to stay completely immobile in the water even though he was working to go forward. It was fun for a while, and demanding, but eventually the training was over and he climbed out of the river, and soaking wet in the academy.
He set foot inside and saw Cassie-sensei with his clone. He immediately released it.
"Cassie-sensei... is there anything else for us to learn today?", he asked, curious and tired.

Cassie was just enjoying the silence and chilling out with an easy smile on her face when she noticed Kiketsu falter a little. Was he demanding too much of himself? Cassie jumped up and went over to him in concern.
"Easy now, Kiketsu-kun," she said, in a half worried tone. "Feel inside you. It should only be a spark at first, but you have to find the spark and draw the chakra out. As more chakra comes out it'll be easier to find and manipulate." With that, she withdrew to give the boy his quiet. A few moments passed, then Hiru appeared with a question. It appeared that he had finished up his swimming. Looking at the clock, Cassie noted that it was indeed close to the end of lesson-time...
"Well.." she said thoughtfully. "It depends. Can you handle... actually. Nah, not today. That can be for tomorrow," she decided, giving Hiru a large smile. "You've finished what I was supposed to teach you for today."
She checked her schedule, and continued, "Well, you'll be learning about the wild tomorrow... and," she peered closely at the paper, "going over the beginning of psychology or something like that. I don't teach those subjects... but still." She sat on a random student's chair and crossed her legs.
"Still, we do have to wait for the bell to ring before finishing up.." she said thoughtfully. "What do you want to do? You could go and join the other sensei's class. Advanced classes take longer."
[yay for +3ness to Kiketsu. Lol that sounded a little dirty..]

When Hiru heard that another class was given and that he could join, he was thrilled at first. Only problem was he realized a second later he would have to train with his new nemesis...
"I have to train with evil-sensei...", he whispered, barely believing the words that came out of Cassie-sensei's mouth.
"Ok I'll join them...", Hiru resolved himsef to declare. He knew becoming a ninja would require a great deal of sacrifice, and this was sure going to be his hardest yet!
Hiru jumped out the window again, leaped into the river and swam all the way up to the training field for the evening advanced class.

Midori continued to read on in the book about hand seals. Each hand seal varied and none the same. It was interesting but long and it was already taking a long time to read.

Midori noticed another student complete with everything and smiled. He was definitely determined to learn. She continued reading on and learned more about the fancy seals.

Midori began to see how she had five chapters left of reading which was a huge relief to her. She didn't like being behind the flow. It made her feel like she was stupid and incapable of doing things like she had a mental impairment.

Midori continued to read on but had another area she was stuck in which annoyed her greatly. Just when she thought things were going good she got confused.
