As soon as Haucon had placed her on the mattress and threw covers on her, Leila shifted a bit in her sleep and let out a heavy sigh, glad for the sleep that had been plaguing her eyes.
She fell into an even deeper sleep and started to dream. Except it was more of a nightmare, as she relived the experiences of earlier that day. It was even more unfortunate that her brain was morphing everything to seem even worse: Liam appeared more demonic, with large scaly red eyes and sharp teeth that jutted from his maw; his scythe seemed even larger and was slicing through her arm; Haucon nor any of the others were there; Leila saw herself trying to get away but not being able to move.
The thoughts caused Leila to turn over and over in her sleep with a sweat-dotted, furrowed brow, her breathing becoming more shallow.
Need to get away...need to get away...

Haucon smiled at Kihaku and nodded. "If you're sure." he said with a shrug, "Only, you'll have to do with just blankets, I haven't got any mats or anything." he added apologetically. He disappeared to the kitchen to see what was in the fridge. Inside there was a carton of milk (expiration date unsure), some eggs that looked alright, a container of old noodles, and a jar of jalapeño peppers. He sighed and shut the door. "No luck." he said, "Unless you like huevos rancheros with no salsa..."he said laughing and lighting a cigarette, and looking around for an ash tray. "There's a pizza place four blocks from here, and a Chinese place within one." he said. "Or we can take the subway somewhere. But someone should stay here with Leila." he explained

"A blanket is fine," she mumbled as she continued to stare up at the sky. "And I can stay here if nobody else wants to," she added after a moment. Walking back inside, she waited to make sure if that was alright.

Haucon nodded, but was a bit apprehensive. He didn't know Kihaku yet, and as such wasn't sure if he could trust her. He'd always been a bit paranoid. "Alright that's fine." he said slowly. "Dream will you stay with her? You really need to rest too. Liam and I will go get food." he said explaining. "Is that ok with everyone?"

((Holly's going to be gone until Friday. Not her fault. Let's just make sure she doesn't get left behind. I might have to break a bit of my god-modding rule to keep her up to date, but I'll be checking with her before I do anything.))
As Dream had entered the apartment, he had been fairly impressed. His house lay millions of miles away on a foreign planet, and he hadn't been there in years. It was nice to be in a friend's house, at least. At least he didn't have to sleep outside. Though he had gotten used to it. As such, he could sleep on the ground, and be fine with it; he wouldn't even need a blanket. "I'll sleep on the ground, I've been doing it for years. Don't bother with a blanket."
Upon being asked if he wished to stay, Dream nodded. "I can stay here too, I don't mind." He reached into his pocket. "I'll pay for the food, I've got enough money. How much do you think it'll cost?"

Haucon smiled and shook his head at Dream. "Don't worry about that." he said pulling a hundred dollar bill from his pocket. "Illusions remember?" he asked. "It wouldn't work in the Sacred Realm, but here, I just figure it's like reimbursing me for my stay." he said smiling. "So what'll it be? Pizza or Chinese?" he asked. "Ready to go?" he said turning to Liam.

He laughed. Haucon always had a way around things. He supposed that was how he had managed to get an apartment so quickly. And he wasn't abusing the power (otherwise he'd be in a mansion at this point), so he probaly deserved what he had done so far. For that, he supported it. "I suppose that's one way to think about it. That works, then." He thought for a moment. "I really don't care what you get, I'll settle with anything."

Kihaku shrugged. "I don't care either way...I don't remember ever having either of them, so, no need to worry 'bout what I like." She said this with a smile, though part of her was curious as to what they tasted like.

Holly had followed along silently. She stifled a giggle at Leila being turned into a sack of potatoes. Upon entering the apartment, she looked around with an appreciateive look on her face. At the mention of sleeping arrangements, she asked, a wry smile at Haucon, "Oh, I'm invisible now?"
She added at the mention of the food, "If you need help with the food, I could come, or I could stay. It doesnt matter to me."

Haucon smiled and laughed a bit. "Sorry bout that." he said running his hand through his hair. "You can sleep with Leila if you want, or out here with us. Either one." He added. "You're welcome to come help pick out food, the more of us that come the more likely we'll get something everyone will like." Haucon said to explain. ((I wish Skunk Blossoms was on!))

Holly smiled at him. "I think I'll sleep by Leila. I can keep an eye on her during the night. And okay, I'll come with you."
She joined the two guys by the door and paused to wait on them.

Leila started moving more and more as her nightmare continued, her mumbling becoming more chaotic. Her limbs were now all twisted in the covers and her legs lay off the mattress...

Liam nodded to Haucon, seeing that he'd be alright with sleeping on the floor. It would be so much more comfortable than where he'd been sleeping for the las couple of months, even if it had to be without a blanket, it all actually sounded nice. Liam was caught a bit off guard when Haucon said that he'd be going to get the food with him, but he understood that the others needed rest and he was in better condition than most of them. It was still strange, and he knew it would be an awkward walk there. The look off jealousy that the fairy had given him was easily remembered. He started to pet the stray cat again, his head snapping to the door as Holly rejoined them. Tension was lifted off of his shoulders as she offered to go with them, and he nodded to Haucon when he asked if he was ready.
