"Yeah! Blank better not let you go...or else there'll be no danishes for the rest of his life." She replied after parting her embrace with Aki, casting her son a fake glare, who only furrowed his brows. If only she knew what he had bought yesterday...
"Alrighty, c'mon, gorgeous; the boat isn't gonna wait forever." Blank said with a grin, picking up the bags and taking a step away from his folks, "See you, guys!" He said, nodding his head bye, "Remember stranger-danger, son." Christian called with Blank rolling his eyes, "Sure thing." He replied as he continued to walk.

Aki grins widely at Lilian, then casts a glance to Blank. She begins to follow him toward the boat, laughing at Christian's parting words. "Byeeee!!! See you soon!" she calls, waving back at Blank's parents happily.

As they got on the boat, Blank set their bags down a moment before waving off to his folks, "See you mooom!" He called as the boat seemed to waste no time in taking off, "That was fun." He said with a grin, wrapping an arm around Aki and continuing to wave to his parents before they turned and walked back to their truck.

Aki follows Blank up onto the boat, and waves alongside him with a smile on her face. "It was fun. I had a really good time," Aki says, wrapping her arms around her lover. She gives him a kiss on the cheek and smiles happily at him.

Having only found Blank in a towel in Aki's room, Adara left the Garden with only her backpack of things and a deep red flush on her cheeks, which meant she would have to go to Balamb to get something for her and Alexei to toast with. The delay of having to collect the papers from her floor meant that she was going to be longer than a half hour, like Alexei had told her to wait, but if she ran then she might only be a few minutes behind.
"Fenrir, I need your speed," she sighed, junctioning the Grey Wolf again.
'Got it.'
With his added stamina, Adara managed to run to Balamb in about ten minutes. Having never really spent any time in the small town, it took her a few minutes to remember where she could even buy any alcohol, but soon enough she was in and out with a bottle of white wine stashed in her bag.
She would show up about ten or fifteen minutes after she had said she would be at the forest's edge.

Alexei made his way into the forest outside Balamb. He slipped deftly between trees and over the underbrush like it wasn't even there. Years of hunting and tracking in the dense forests around Crescent lent him incredible agility in those environments, and his path finding skills were second to none.
He quickly found what he was looking for - a good spot. He set his pack down and pulled out its contents. He worked fast, and in no time, he was finished and returning to the edge of the forest to meet Adara.
He waited patiently for her to come running up from Balamb, having stood in a spot clearly visible from that direction, he saw her coming well in time. Alexei waved her over and started into the forest, grinning mischievously.

"Sorry I'm late," she smiled and siddled up beside him, her cheeks a little pink from the run as she took a deep breath. "You look incredibly pleased with yourself. I suppose it's a surprise, right?"
Adara stood up on her toes to kiss his cheek, sliding an arm around his waist.

Alexei put his arm over her shoulders in response and walked her into the forest, back towards their spot. "I am very. You'll see soon, don't worry." He led her to the spot he'd set down his things and stopped. He turned and gave her a smug grin. "Okay, here we are." He turned her around and showed her a tree. At first, nothing special about it. After a moment, though, she would catch the subtle movement of a rope hanging down through the branches. "Up for a little climb?"

Her confusion was apparent for the first few moments, not immediately noticing the rope until he asked if she was up for climbing. At first she though he meant climbing the tree, but then she spotted it.
"Wha.. I... guess I am," Adara turned and looked up at him, laughing slightly. "Should I be worried about the glass bottle in my backpack?"

"You'll be fine, I have put pitons in trunk, will be just like walking." He walked over and indicated a pair of ascenders for easy climbing. "Go first, I'll be right behind you. Just release ascenders when you go up and lock them to pull yourself along." He pulled at the rope and smiled. "You'll like what's at the top. Promise."
He let Adara go first, and climbed up after her. When she arrived at the top of the rope, there was a heavy canvas strapped between two large, sturdy branches making a little platform for them to sit on. From there, they could see the land stretched out below and the ocean beyond.

Adara gave the rope 'ladder' a suspiscious look before taking a deep breath and stepping up to it.
"I'm not a great climber, but all right..." she smirked at him.
It did, in fact, take her a few tries to get the ascenders to lock properly, but once she did she went up the tree in no time. It was like he said, just like walking. Her quick learning paid off most times.
When she reached the top of the rop, the girl sort of froze with awe of the view. She was impressed by what Alexei had set up in the tree branches and that he had found such a perfect spot for them to sit. After a few seconds of forgetting she was attached to a rope, and that he was following her, Adara rolled herself onto the canvas and made herself comfortable.
"This is perrrrrfect!" she grinned at him once he was up as well. Adara withdrew the wine bottle from her bag and showed off her selection, "Cheaper version of Trabian iced wine. I've only ever had the real winter grapes once, and this is not quite as good, but it's better than everything else I could afford."

Alexei was relieved to see that Adara liked their spot. He hoisted himself up beside her. He'd picked good branches, they barely moved under their weight. His father showed him how to set up a safe camp in monster-infested areas, so it was an excellent perch. "Glad you think so. This sounds great," he said, looking at the wine bottle in Adara's hands. He gave her a quick kiss and looked out on their view. "Is beautiful up here, yes? Quiet, safe ... private. Just for us. Just for you."

Adara very much liked the idea of quiet and safe and, most of all, private.
She shifted closer to him after he kissed her, squirming her way under his arm, and leaned against his body while looking out over to the ocean, "It's gorgeous."
Setting the bottle of wine to the side, the teen looked up at him and smiled contently. The serenity of the moment took over her as she breathed deeply once, exhaling slowly and letting the tension that was built up in her disappate. As she did, her muscles relaxed and she nearly melted into him.
"Thank you, Alexei. I really needed this," she closed her eyes gently and hummed for a moment before speaking again.
"And we two lovers shall not sit afar, Critics of nature, but the joyous sea Shall be our raiment, and the bearded star Shoot arrows at our pleasure! We shall be Part of the mighty universal whole, And through all Aeons mix and mingle with the Kosmic Soul."

Alexei smiled and held Adara close as she recited the poem. "Beautiful," he told her, kissing the top of her head and looking down at her fondly. He brushed some hair out of his face and tucked it behind his ear. "I'm glad you are pleased. I would be very bad if you did not like it."

[[ is that a typo or did he actually say that? xD ]]
She smirked at the minor error in his sentence, "No, you wouldn't be bad. Why wouldn't I like it?"
Part of her felt proud that she had remembered the verse perfectly, since the poem was one of her favorites and she wished she could have done the whole thing, start to finish, but that one verse summed up the moment. The girl didn't move herself away from him when he pulled her close; that was right where she wanted to be.
"We should stay up here all day and all night. I bet we could watch the sunset perfectly from right here. But you probably thought of that too, didn't you?"
