The Chief paused, considering the option. The Police HQ was gone. Taken down by tanks, then they probably rooted through it for a while to look for anything valuable. That or bodies. At least he made sure they wouldn't find either.
"I'd say the army base, but I don't know if we've got that, or if Ruby'd keep her calm there. She seems contented here, and you know this lay out. I've no complaints."

She chuckled, "I buried their bodies in the building's basement." It was a lie, she had just scared them off and given a few good scratches, but she couldn't resist.

She chuckled, "I buried their bodies in the building's basement." It was a lie, she had just scared them off and given a few good scratches, but she couldn't resist. The Chief gave her a look. "I don't think you did. I'm not doubting your ability to kill someone, but you don't seem the type who'd kill on a whim." He paused for a moment for some tea. "I know you said you tried to kill Ruby, that you were worse then, but you seem like you've changed since whenever that was. You just don't seem the type to kill for killing's sake."

The Chief sat up, setting his drink to the side.

Sahira stood still staring back at him for a good long moment, then shook her head. "No. And for the record, I've killed, but never done it for pleasure or boredom. The Ruby incident involved orders, and I no longer take those orders, so I suppose you could say I've changed. Still, you shouldn't trust so easily."

"Destroying the building would be utterly useless. Aside from creating unneeded fuss and bother, as well as a lot of noise, visual distortion, obstacles on the field, AND removing our ability to disable the weapons, as well as not touching Mister Lock, then YES, be my guest to destroy the building. How many pounds of high explosives do you have on you? One, two hundred pounds? To collapse the buidling that should be adquet. How about access to the garage or basement? Structural supports? EXCELLENT! Then bring it down, Miss Cross. I am anxious to see the results."

((I wish I hadn't lost track of which building this was. I would love to be able to say that A.C.'s carrying the detonator set up to do just such a thing, and isn't it a shame she's not present right now? But I don't actually remember what building you're all in. I have no idea. xd ))

Minerva met Xeen's look with one of pure loathing. "What makes you think I was planning on taking it out with explosives? I was musing with the idea of the seer and his possible abilities. But since we're on the topic, why the hell did you warp us here, and not directly to the room where Locke is? Now we have to shoot through a building of people, giving him ample time to know we're coming and chance to escape. I don't see what use you are at all."
